**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I find RingCentral Events to be a very intuitive platform that provides enough customization to make our events feel unique and personal. It allows us to go well beyond the standard Zoom events without requiring a developer background. The ability to create landing pages, modify schedules, and showcase particular speakers or vendors is really helpful to keep things on our brand while allowing each event to have its own personality.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

A challenge is integrating with our current CRM, being able to seamlessly integrate attendees, sign up, and have their communication for the event streamlined and recorded in our CRM and email management software would be helpful.

I have attended lots of virtual events this past year and this one provides great versatility and ease of use.

The user interface is clean and intuitive, and I really like the AI feature that summarizes my conversations into short, easy-to-understand statements.

Sometimes it just sucks, not able to make a call, hangs up automatically, voice distortion, and while I am good at internet speed it shows low speeds

I am into IT service management, and we have to make calls every where in the world and it works like butter

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

It is simple in use, easy to set-up events and it is one of the most interesting events platform if you are looking for a cheap solution. I do like that you have integrations with platforms like Stripe, Stramyard etc, Regarding the platform performance I think it needs some improvement, but overall it works ok. Support is available at all times, which is nice. I am not sure about the AI features.

The fact that you can't send dedicated emails to registrants

The fact that there is no possibility to ask have a pre-set list of country codes for the phone numbers. We need it for our mobile marketing campaign

It keeps the entire event workflow in one place. I can run webinars, virtual, hybrid, and onsite events from the same platform, instead of having to stitch together a bunch of separate tools.

It’s a strong choice when you need a full event platform, but for smaller or simpler events, it can feel heavier than necessary.

The platform is user-friendly and lets attendees easily move between sections. The moderation feature works quickly and efficiently to manage the chat while helping event organizers communicate with the audience. It provides various event experiences, enabling a full in-person event recreation. I use the entry-level platform, and the pricing is the best I have found.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I like that we can host a lot of clients and not have to worry about the servers being able to cope. I like that the support team are there to assist with anything. Some aspects of the platform are easy to use while others are not.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

The emails are very confusing when adding box's and the sizing of images etc. The polls function is not great there is a limit to the amount of characters. The moderation only allows admins to moderate which isnt great as that means we need to use all of our teams seats to allow moderation. The ticket types do not carry over to the recordings so we have paying clients getting to see every day of the event recordings which is not good. There is no where to put speaker info that shows on the platform other than the registration page which isnt great if we are using the magic links.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with the having analytics etc for an event, but as the company  work for specialises in Audio Visual things like their streaming service is no use to use as we have our own broadcasting kit that works better for our clients.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

-Customer support is incredible, our CSM is very friendly and responsive with larger issues and the chat is very responsive with quick fixes
-The interface really facilitates a lot of customer engagement in the chat, Q&A, and polls, the reaction feature is great in the chat
-The abundance of reports available post-event is great and the way the data is presented is very clear
-you can record the breakout sessions (this isn't possible in Zoom)
-Provides great value to our two team, one of which hosts Simulive webinars on the platform, and the other, live webinars with breakout sessions
-During our live webinar, it was key that we were able to adjust the time of a recommended stage, as some of the speakers were running over time and we didn't want a pop-up to the recommended stage to cause people to exit or confusion

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

-I feel like there were many nuances and elements that I had to sort out for myself, but this could be because of my use case for the platform
-I do not understand why speakers need to stream in from the backstage and why the set-up can't be the same way as the sessions, the streaming in adds a layer of complexity to our process
-Needs a practice room for all session speakers/panelists instead of just a backstage
-Our magic links wouldn't copy, so I had to manually download a report each time
-The efforts to play our own music were a bit difficult to figure out
-Wish the speakers would be able to see the polls when we launch them

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us run seamless customer webinars with a great user interface for both attendees and moderators.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

The ease of use of the features and setup, and having RingCentral University, which provides detailed steps to figuring out how to set up your event. It is easy to build the venue, the schedules and branding. I love that the event and registration pages can be personalized and have a professional look with ease and intuitive settings. I also had to reach out to customer support and they were speedy in answering and provided a series of solutions for my issue, going above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

On the day of the event, RingCentral can pose certain challenges, especially if you are used to zoom. Speakers are often confused with the comments and not being able to see participants, event when addressing these during the test-run. However, with the new integrations in platform, I believe this has been resolved as you can switch to the new setup which is more similar to other platforms.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RingCentral provides everything that we need for our events in one platform. From the registration page to the event itself, the recording and we can use our own branding. This all-in-one solution has been easy to use and provides a lot of features to make our events more enjoyable.

  ### 14. Simple, Intuitive but some Developments Required

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I like using RingCentral as its very intuitive and user friendly, the features, functions and tabs explain themselves. This platform works for the scale of our events and is fit for purpose. We have been using this platform for over 3 years now and have been through a lot of updates to get where we are now. A real help through this has been from the customer support service who have provided solutions and explainations as to why things may have gone wrong or to develop our product. The ease of integrating other platforms we use during our events is very simple, for example Slido and Vimeo videos; it is built in very well and implementing this into the conferences we run is very easy.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

The one thing I dislike about RingCentral is the lack of knowledge on tech issues; for example why some speakers can't join on Microsoft Edge but some other can. I dedicated technician for your organisations account would make it more seamless and tech free. We would also use this platform more if this service was provided as it reaqssures us event organisers.

They are currently implementing a production studio which will benefit it us a lot and our tech team to provide a more seamless experience for our speakers delegates and themselves.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I really appreciate the different "rooms" that are incorporated in the platform. It truly breaks down the in-person conference feel and puts it in a virtual space that is more accessible for people across the globe. I also very much appreciate the team, behind RingCentral... from the engineering team that quickly responds to outages, to the CSMs and the customer support channel that helps with one off questions AND the team that listens to our feedback and implements new features. 

The platform is easy to integrate with other CRMs and seems to be fairly easy for the attendee to navigate - even those that aren't as tech savvy. 


I use this platform frequently - almost a daily basis. So, to have something that is easy to implement and navigate as an admin or a user, is crucial!

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

One challenge that is hard for me and other attendees is, it is so bandwidth heavy that attendees can have challenges joining sessions or networking that involve sharing their audio and video. There may not be much you can do about that, but it is often a challenge with some clients.

I wish more people (not admin) but on the events team had more flexiblity and visibility to some of the features. I.e. the Q&A, pinning certain chats, or sending broadcast announcements. It would be nice to have a "co-host" role or a lesser role than an admin that  you can give on a case by case basis, so they can participate and control the environment a bit more.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are several areas that RCE has solved problems in the virtual event space. It is nice that it is SSO and that we can control certain registrations/register for others. It is nice that networking, concurrent sessions, and expo booths can all be in one space. AND it is extremely helpful that it has interactive components like polls, chat, and the ability to integrate other services to engage the audience.

Navigation is pretty self-explanatory. I do like the networking option, it adds to the fun of the event! It's also easy to duplicate events so you don't have to start from scratch everytime. Additionally, when reaching out to customer support, they're pretty quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I wish the app allowed for attendees to post (i.e like a post feed, and other attendees could comment on each other's posts). Also the registration can be kind of tricky at times. If you register multiple attendees at one time, the email questionnaire only goes to the person who registered all those attendees (not to each individual listed). Kind of messes up the questionnaire at that point.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do like the dashboard where you can see all past events and review how those were setup previously, to create additional future events. The duplication feature is really nice. It's also easy for users to access our webinars and events, as they just need to use their RC login.

RingCentral Events is quick and easy to set up, especially with the wealth of help articles. Being able to customize pretty much every color scheme really allows you to build a well-branded event app and site. It has also been very reliable for our attendees. It's very simple to upload external attendee lists, change ticket types and permissions and send invitations to get them into their accounts quickly. We work with an international audience and many IT departments who have high security and have had no issues with attendees accessing the system or emails.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

RingCentral Events has a major gap in the lack of ability to bulk upload to all fields in multiple areas, particularly the Expo area. You can only bulk upload information for a few fields so if you have a lot of vendors or are utilizing that area for other purposes where you cannot give the vendor the ownership of uploading their own information, it is a considerable amount of manual copying and pasting to get all of the information into the system. This is the only major negative we've experienced and hope that as the system evolves, a better bulk upload option becomes available.

RingCentral Events provides us with a seamless experience across multiple devices, continents and attendee technologies. It has been very reliable and consistent over the multiple years we've used the product. The attendees have continuously provided great feedback for the system so our attendee adoption rate is very high.

Emulation of the physical conference networking where I can see and approach other delegates as well as moving around the venue at will

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

A few software bugs (iphone app and event duplication) are holding ring Central  back

New delegates find it hard to understand the sign up process and do not enter their profiles/mugshots/headlines. What would help a lot would be if they were encouraged to enter their organisation name.

**Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:**

Delegates will be familiar with Zoom .. so there is a bit of a challenge getting them to  invest in a new platform in order to reach new benefits.  Hopin benefits grow the more events you run - when delegates come back the issues of unfamiliar registration go away. Hopin does innovate fast to fix problems they spot. Hopin's support desk is slow for low priority issues but very good for emergencies.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We migrated from Zoom to Hopin because Z was slow to understand the need for delegates to move at will from session to session. Zoom is now gaining ground as an intuitive service

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Setting up a webinar and offering a professionell experience to the customer is a surprisingly complex challenge which needs (like most marketing tools) the combined expertise of field, performance and digital marketing specialists. Usually these don't speak the same "language" and are afraid to step out of their respective comfort zone.

The combination of former Hopin and the toolbox of Streamyard manages to combine all these needed skills in one easy to use and easy to understand package. The experience from "setting up the plattform" to "testing everything out" was for the most part smooth and the extremly efficient, available and knowledgable support staff made short work of any occuring question. I can't stress this enough how hard it is to find good support with tools and platforms like these.

RC offers an almost apple-like experience where i have just the right amount of customisation option that i feel in control but not too much that i could feel overwhelmed by choice at any given moment. Especially in working with a larger team of mostly non-digital marketing personal this effect was noticable more then once.

We did our resarch before deciding on RC and came to the conclusion that most providers are not trying hard enough to modernis their platforms and services. RC is ahead of the competition in that regard

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

While the combination of RC and Streamyard offers a all-in-one solution for creating digital events  there are some essentiall featues missing that would drasticly improve the workflow, user experience and collaboration especially in larger teams.

As an administrator no being able to define "permissions" more precisly and granuarly is a big letdown. While "admin" offers to much freedom especially to non-digital colleagues the simple "member" offers too little freedom with not being able to create own webinars. This leaves us with the situation where every department and every region has to be an "admin" and being able to see the events created by colleagues. This creates the risks of accidently changing something in an event that is not assigned to them. As an admin this makes me uneasy since there is no "change history" or other means of controlling here to follow up on what might went wrong.

We have a very strickt CD-Manual and it is of utmost importance to us that the teams keep in line with guidelines we provide. I am desperatly missing the option to create a template where i can set up a webinar or event in exactly the way corporate wants it to be so that colleagues can just copy it without having the fear of making a mistake. Duplicating an event is not a suitable alternative since most of the options revert back to a default value or state. Especially the brand template inside streamyard is not shared between webinars this results in every single colleague, team and region needing the access to all media that we want to use inside a webinar.

Implementing these featues would go a long way in improving the user experience. That RC fails to provide a feature roadmap for the coming months or providing transparency in their development cycle is disapointing.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were very unhappy with GoTo Webinar as our former platform for webinar and digital events. The UI and UX was outdated and there were not enough options for customer engagement and participation during an event. Furthermore we felt depending on Hubsport for our mailing and data tracking since the featues provided by GoTo felt lacking in that regard.

Especially the Analytics and Report functions of RC offer a very comprehensive experience and fulfill our needs.

Another big issues is that most of our marketing colleagues actually using webinars and digital events for lead generation are not experienced or trained digital marketing professionells and rather field marketing specialists. Using pure digital marketing tools becomes a challenge which makes complex user interfaces and workflows a hazard. We chose RC especially to target this issue because the toolkit provided offers enoug customisation options without overwhelming.

There's been a few issues. The first is the automatic video quality downgrade to 720p video. This has hurt the quality and professionalism of our events, especially since we rely on high-quality pre-recorded presentations. Also, asking each audience member to use separate magic links and create their own profiles has caused a lot of unnecessary hassle for both our team and attendees. As for the Pardot integration, it never worked as we hoped, so we ended up finding a workaround using Zapier.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we were using it, it was a great way to broadcast our webinar content. RingCentral was not too hard to use and the learning curve was not steep. It had all of the basic features we were looking for.

RingCentral has been a good tool for our small-to-medium virtual programs. The networking feature is a great tool to help give programs the live event feel. The recent updates that allow speakers to test their session rooms has also been a win.

Breakout room function within a session is clunky. It would also be helpful if sessions could be uploaded or mass edited. We run A LOT of content and it takes so much time to manually create each room.

That the ux of the platform is really good and easy going. Everything is clear and friendly to manage. Also, I love the new feature that allows you to custom the registration site in an advanced way.

When you move to another tab and leave the stage, the video stop. It would be great to keep watching the live while you are navegating the site. Also that you have to publish the event once you finished it. That gives us extra work.

I'm a big fan of the Streamyard studio, but above all, I've been impressed how the product (formerly Hopin) has evolved over the 4 years I've been using it.  They have been responsive to requested changes, and their team has been there to help find solutions.  They have most recently changed thier pricing model to better serve useres who are running free online events, chargeing by number of attendees rather than registrations.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

Very little to not like.  The learning curve migth be a little steep, but they've laid it out very well.  And they offer both simple solutions and more complex options for greater customization.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for my virtual events.  It serves its purpose.

Very clean layout, quick set up and designed to get the attendee to what they came for quickly - content, expo booths and networking. No lame graphics of potted plants and fake buildings to navigate. Hopin's design team continues to innovate and bring new features online with virtually all helping accomplish our goal of trying to delight the customers

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

Expo booths need more options for links and uploaded content - sponsors are requesting spots for white papers and video links but we hope the Hopin engineers are bringing this soon! Can we ever load full PDFs?

**Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:**

Check out other "market leader" platforms and then try out Hopin, ideally with a full demo done one-on-one. Take a few minutes to really investigate the options and you will quickly see how easy this platform checks all of the boxes on a virtual event. Every move we make is to help the customer experience and Hopin makes this easier.

Our job as event organizers is to bring buyers and sellers together and Hopin does that and does it very well. I signed up with RingCentral because we needed something to be able to control out virtual events more than what Zoom Events provided. I wanted something that would link up with Hubspot and be able to scale as we start to do more types of events. Love the Streamyard production studio and being able to create more dynamic virtual events. The flexibility to do larger scale events and small sessions or webinar style is a pro as well.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I'm a decently technical person but the Hubspot integration was a little tricky just to make sure it was set properly and still wish there were some other items that passed more easily between the systems. Some items in the UI are tricky to find but can tell the product team is actively engaged in improving the platform and listening to their customers too.

The platform is very simple to use once you have a grasp of what is where. The support team are always on hand to answer any questions and there are ample guides available to explain how to do things if not. 

From an attendee's perspective, the platform looks fantastic, it's easy to use and there are plenty of features that organisers can use to keep you engaged.

The email templates are very basic and as someone with no HTML background, it's incredibly difficult to redesign them.
