What do you like best about HighLevel?

Toolsets for marketing are decent, integrate with most of what you need for marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

The platform is inflexible on integration with third party phone systems and SMS providers. As a SaaS business, I already have an SMS provider and phone numbers purchased. I can easily do an API integration, but they do not allow those to be used. Everything is connected through their white label "LeadConnector" solution that does not support outside providers.

Additionally, the platform is full of ads. If you are an agency or SaaS provider running your customers on sub-accounts, you have to turn off a million pop up ads. Everything is built on forcing you to upsell your existing customers on their solutions. Either their pricing for agencies is too low or they have a bad business model.

Lastly the support is terrible. Chat is buried amongst 10 links and they push everyone to join a zoom call, which is not always a good option depending on your work location. Simple questions take an hour to get answered as you sit in a waiting room awkwardly waiting to be connected to a live Zoom conversation.

Regarding integration with third-party phone systems and SMS providers: our Conversation/Phone APIs are wide open, allowing any third party to be connected. You can find all the documentation at https://developers.gohighlevel.com/

On the matter of in-app messaging and upsell prompts, we understand how that can be disruptive and I'll pass this feedback on to the team.

Finally, we sincerely apologize for the support experience you've had. Our intent with Zoom support is to offer faster, more personalized help, but we understand it's not always ideal in every situation. We're currently improving both live chat and ticket-based options to ensure more flexible and efficient support pathways.

"Mind blowing"
What do you like best about HighLevel?

One of the things i love about ghl is the support, which is quite incredible. I'm able to jump into a zoom with someone to help me figure out anything on how to use the platform 24/7.

In addition I find that it is the most well rounded platform, with so many options and in a way that even non tech people find it easy to understand. That's quite unique, and after trying many many different softwares i have found joy in running a business again now that i have ghl. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

The one thing that could be improved is the social media scheduling and the automations for social media, like dm responses and comment responses - this could be improved in terms of what can be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HighLevel?

I've been using HighLevel for 4 months, and it has been an incredible journey! What stands out the most is their unwavering commitment to improving and upgrading the platform. Love the TownHalls providing what's coming and what's new onboard.The support structure is equally impressive—live chat, onboarding sessions, YouTube tutorials, podcasts, and live calls—all backed by a team that truly knows the platform inside and out.

The learning curve is manageable, with the basics being easy enough to implement right away, which allowed us to start delivering value to our clients almost immediately as well for our agency, making some clients connect with Recurring model thru Stripe, we don't even have to worry about chargin customers, because we have setup negotiated monthly fees.

HighLevel has been a game-changer for our agency—it’s an investment that pays for itself many times over.

To me, HighLevel is like owning a Ferrari before knowing how to drive it. But with the comprehensive training, updates, and incredible support, we’re mastering the platform day by day—and now achieving milestones we never thought possible.

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

If anything, why didn't exist 20 year ago! always had this idea of a marketing platform all-in-one, but too costly to build it by myself or even hire developers to do it. Now for just a fraction, is accesible to Small Boutique Agencies as well big agencies, which at the end of the day, simplifies processes internally. Although, this isn't a platform that will make you millions unless you work it out. Nobody will do the pushups for you. Isn't rocket science build an AIO platfrom and keep it competitive, but RocketScience will be know how and directions YOU as an Agency or SaaS reseller will make it run. "The Trial "Support" is Abysmal"
What do you like best about HighLevel?

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

The 'customer support' during trial phase is APPALLING. They don't tell you this, but they put you back in touch with a sales rep that can never help with any issues and just tries to convince you that whatever feature isn't working will work if you end your trial early and upgrade. This has happened three times - I have gotten no support. It's enough to make me not want to start paying for the real version because I don't know if these features work, and I don't know if that's what support will be - just upsells. Its not a dislike, theres just so much to learn and sometime you cant articulate your challenges. Someone should know where people are trying to go. That confidence Framework is needed. GHL sounds like its mainly for people that know what they are doing. Someone that doesnt would hide 90% of the time and say they are not ready mainly because their confidence is off.
