I really like the ability to customize everything from colors, banners, logos etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it connected with our current CRM. This is not a Give Butter issue though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of Givebutter’s greatest strengths is its intuitive and modern interface. The platform is designed with simplicity in mind, making it easy for nonprofits to set up campaigns, track donations, and manage donors without requiring extensive technical knowledge. The clear layout and well-organized features allow users to navigate effortlessly, ensuring a smooth fundraising experience.
We also love the customizable fundraising pages with branding options, storytelling tools, and multimedia support, allowing us to connect with donors in a meaningful way. Additionally, Givebutter supports team fundraising, enabling groups to collaborate on fundraising efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is that we haven't had the time to unlock all the capabilities of Givebutter! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to set up new campaigns and QR codes. It's also easy and simple to pull up donation stats and financials for each campaign. Setting it up and implementing it took no effort or time at all. We use it for pretty much all of our fundraising efforts big and small, and it works without any issue. It has a widget that easily integrated onto web pages on our site. You can' really do phone customer support if you need it, just email support. It works great for selling tickets and doing auctions, but it doesn't work as an online store for selling merchandise (you can set up auction items, but not things like clothing with multiple sizes and colors). I like many things about this platform. I work for a non-profit organization that relies on fundraisers to raise money necessary to operate and provide services to our citizens at no cost to them. Givebutter has made it simple to create events and to promote the events by sharing the information on multiple platforms. One of my favorite features is the ability to send a request to donate directly to someone's phone via text message. Givebutter will send the individual a text listing my name as the requestee with a link to our campaign. It's very helpful. I also enjoy the leaderboard design which shows who is raising the most money. This feature drives friendly competition to put more effort into raising funds. The process to add people to my fundraising team is a little difficult to figure out at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Givebutter has been great for us. The platform is easy to navigate, I can set up as many different campaigns as I want, I can link campaigns into a fund that makes it easy to track, and donors can use payment systems like Venmo, which a lot of younger people prefer. The only small downside is that I use Little Green Light as my donor management system and there isn't an automated way to link the two systems. It takes me a little bit of work to download my new donors from Givebutter and upload them into LGL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the use of widgets and how they integrate within our organization. I also really like the way Givebutter looks. It is an easy to use platform and is not too full of unnecessary items. In addition, I really like the way events and auctions work with this system. Finally, the fact that there is a free version is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that I cannot customize certain items such as removing tips and donations from events. I would rather the tip be defaulted to 0% because we have had a few donors who didn't notice and thought that we had taken extra money for a donation without their permission. Also, there are still so many screens. I would like a once click donation experience to be available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a not-for-profit group and the thing I like best about GiveButter is the option to have the giver cover the fee instead of the organization so that all the funds raised can go toward our goal instead of towards fees.
The most helpful thing about GiveButter is that the contact and $ amount info is exportable to a spreadsheet and there is no extra fee to be able to do that.
Also, the GiveButter customer service is outstanding. I’ve already recommended GiveButter to 2 other groups! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a very small not-for-profit group but have a lot of contacts and it would be too expensive for us to add the sms texting option for our little fundraiser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We looked at several platforms to run our online and in person auctions via. After reviewing Givebutter's site and their onboarding process we decided that this would be the best one for us. I love the fact that they walked us through the system when we started; letting us ask questions and explore the site with their guidance. They are quick to answer questions and answer emails when asking for direction on different items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only problem I have encountered is not having an easy way to access who has bought tickets for the live event so I can have a list of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Givebutter has given my small private school and congregation a platform to offer its memebers a way to support the ministry happnening on our campus. We have used Givebutter to allow our members to give weekly offerings, pay for field trips, give a "free will offering" at events, and also has allowed us to accept digital payments for our athletic activities. The only downside of Givebutter, are the fees. However, fees are a part of world today and they are expected in order to be able to use all of the features of the product. I just wish they would give non-profits a break on the fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the customization options for different campaigns. We use the ticket and auction functions, but also just have a general donation campaign. You can have things available during specific windows of time and then take things down at specific times. Overall just a very user friendly service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that Givebutter has a tip option for them that is automatically set to 15% and needs to be manually set to 0% by the donator if they want to avoid paying Givebutter. If you change it to 0% across the board then it charges you extra. I get that Givebutter has to earn money somehow, but I find this a bit underhanded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Givebutter is a great site to use for fundraising and collecting payments. Additionally, there are great embed options to use on your website. This is in use for all donations on the site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There was a bit of a learning curve in setting up my first event. The event was in person but no tickets were needed. We were tracking registration outside of the platform and verifying entry at the door, so I struggled just a bit to get the system to NOT deliver a ticket to registrants.
