Donorbox made it incredibly easy for us to set up and manage our fundraising campaign. The platform’s user-friendly interface, seamless integration with our website, and ability to accept recurring donations helped us raise over $7,000 last year. The customizable donation forms and automated donor receipts also added a professional touch to our campaign. We especially appreciated the analytics dashboard, which allowed us to track donations and donor engagement effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Donorbox is a fantastic platform, the processing fees can add up, especially for larger donations. It would be great to have more flexibility in customizing the donor checkout experience.
I would have also liked a little bit more flexibility when designing the campaign look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our nonprofit chose Donorbox because of the positive experience we'd had on the donor side previously. Donorbox allows us to spend only what we need to accept donations in a user-friendly way. We plan to integrate with our CRM using an affordable add-on. We're so glad Donorbox doesn't require us to purchase a higher tier service overall in order to get this functionality.
We were able to set up a fundraising page and form very quickly. Our experience with customer support so far has been great, responsive and accomodating when confusion about ACH versus bank transfer arose (involving unexpected fees that they then refunded). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have two main frustrations. One has been that donors do not receive immediate email confirmations when donating via ACH or bank transfer. They have to wait until the funds clear, which can take up to a week if it's over a holiday weekend. The second is that when we update our donation form, despite showing as updated on the preview page, it does not get reflected on the campaign page itself. We are still consulting with support on how to fix this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use even to onboard neophytes to the work. Your custormer service folks have patiently helped me learn the ropes when our charity had questions regarding using your software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really prefer having a telephone number to contact someone. I realize that emails are more effecient, but when you are dealing with technical things and other people's money, it would be greatly appreciated if there was a number to call not just a faceless email to write to. Please consider adding this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main reason we moved to DonorBox is because our non-profit wants to be able to give thank you gifts for donations. We used charity.gofundme. com for the last 9 years, but they suspended our last fundraiser because we give different thank you gifts for various sizes of donation.
I contacted DonorBox customer service to ask if thank you gifts were allowed, and they responded very quickly and said yes. That was our main reason for switching, but after setting up our first campagin I have to say that DonorBox is better in everyway.
I wish we would have switched to DonorBox years ago. It's amazing how customizable everything is, even without paying for the pro plan. It's great to be able to keep everything on brand with our logos and colors. Sometimes donors get a little nervous about donating because they aren't always confident that the money is going to the right place.
With GoFundMe Charity it was extremely difficult to even get the donors email address, but with DonorBox everything is really easy to figure out so getting thank you gifts to our donors should be straight forward and really easy. Love it so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The default progress bar widget thing looked terrible on our website, so I made a custom one that matches our website theme better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We needed to urgently find a new donor system and after exploring several options, Donorbox came recommended the most. One person described it as the all-around "Swiss Army knife" of donor platforms, and after exploring its many features, I agree. It was easy to set up, it's been easy to use, and donors are really appreciating all the new options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could customize some of our interface that donors use. For instance, I had a query from someone trying to enter their phone number but was trying to use punctuation (hyphens and parentheses), and I wish the format either accepted punctuation or explained to fill it in without it. (We ended up having to turn off requiring a phone number so people wouldn't be confused. We didn't want anything to create a barrier.) I also wish it were optional to add an email to the recipient of a donation made in honor or memory of someone. Someone was trying to make a donation in memory of someone who died long ago so they were confused about having to add an email for the recipient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't know where to start. The market is flooded with donor and fundraising software and I have very specific needs. Donorbox was recommended to me by my media producer and it checked every box! I needed a donate button, a capital campaign, a landing page for Giving Tuesday, one-time and monthly donations, email marketing to donors, and peer-to-peer fundraising for small immediate financial needs. Donorbox has it all and it was FREE to set up. They have great videos and tutorials but the software is so easy to use and it was so easy to integrate with my WIX website. I haven't had to lean on customer support yet, but I know how to once I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found any downsides yet. 100% of my requirements have been met and it was super easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very easy to use, and the pages walk you through step by step to set up your fundraising campaigns. I like that the dashboard allows you to easily generate QR codes for the page. The free version offers a lot of tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard does a weird thing where it scrolls up every time I try to edit the campaign description Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Donorbox is its easy to understand connection point and adaptability.
It makes setting up gift crusades unquestionably basic, in any event, for individuals without specialized aptitude.
The stage offers adaptable choices, repeating gift highlights, and consistent incorporations with different devices, making it a strong answer for overseeing gathering pledges endeavors productively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Actually, there is nothing I dislike about the platform so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is relatively easy to get things started, but the best thing by far has been the helpful, tailored customer support, which is quick, efficient and directly answers my questions. also like how easy it is to see all my donors' details, securely held on my Dashboard, which means I don't have to keep pwersonal records elsewhere. I found the interface really really confusing. It is unclear how you differentiate between setting up a page on your own website and creating a Donorbox-hosted page - and the different terminology needs to be explained. It can be really hard to get back to information you put in previously - and it should be clearer how you set up just a regular 'Support Us' page as opposed to a specific campaign. We wanted to host a page on our own Wix website and we followed all the instructions, but trying to embed the widget caused our website to crash and look terrible for several days - it proved impossible to delete or remove the widget that was causing all the problems. So - unfortunately it took weeks and weeks to get properly set up (I only work 2 days a week, and needed the help of other part-time colleagues to work with the website) - and we ended up having to go with a Donorbox-hosted page rather than be able to set anything up on our own website. I still don't know what the problem was with the widget.
That said, however, we have started receiving donations now, and this seems to be very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Donorbox is the best thing we ever did for our ministry. The platform is extremely user friendly to the publisher and the donors. You are provided with a direct link as well as a scan code to provide for donations both on social media, websites or brochures, etc.
Donorbox connects directly to your nonprofit's bank account and has many ways for the donors give the money, including: ApplePay, PayPal, GooglePay, Stripe or Debit/Credit card.
Each donor has an opportunity to give any amount as a onetime gift or commit to money giving. When each donation has been completed you immediately get an update via email with their Name, the amount, onetime or monthly, and their email, address and phone number. This is most beneficial for thank yous, tax deductions and future correspondence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no complaints. Other than sometimes I have difficulty getting to the scan code and link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
