What do you like best about Dotdigital?

What I love about Dotdigital is its simplicity and ease of use. The block-building email creator makes designing emails straightforward, while the automation tool manages to be both powerful and user-friendly. The reporting features are flexible and accessible, adapting easily to different needs. And whenever I need help, their customer support team is always available. What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

Dotdigital's email creation options could be more flexible, and I would love to see some more advanced widgets available on the platform itself such as timers, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dotdigital makes my job easier by streamlining marketing tasks, making it easy for a company with limited resources to still implement a detailed customer journey and understand our customers through detailed anylitics. It handles everything from emails to SMS in one place and automates customer interactions, saving me a ton of time. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

The interface itself is really easy to use. And once you have templates set up, it's really easy to create new campaigns and edit existing ones. Plus the reporting capability is quick and easy to use to get insights and performance from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

My focus is on the campaign build side rather than the data side of things, I've always found it easy to create what I need from the preloaded templates we supplied and add any new imagery needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows us to contact our base at scale and at a frequency that supports our business objectives. Our Homemover journey allows us to automate multi-touch campaigns easily and we've used it extensively as part of our smart meter roll out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dotdigital?

I really liked the whole process of onboarding and how the DotDigital Academy also helped us in learning the interface and how we can use the platform to our advantage. We were having issues with the deliverabilty of our emails and they were being triggered by Bots and we couldn't get an exact engagement rate for our emails. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

I like the possibility of creating great segmentation to send more targeted emails to my database, plus the design element Dotdigital has to offer, it has enabled us to create on brand engaging emails that have generated a much better response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dotdigital?

DotDigital integrates surveys & forms with emails, and allows users to create comprehensive journeys between them. So no more marketing monkeys (MailChimp or Survey Monkey) but one seamless platform, that is also collecting contacts from Whatsapp, website and Facebook leads.

Considering how hard it's working, it's cost-effective. Every lead receives a personalised welcome email and subsequent relevant emails to keep them engaged. We can monitor engagement and tweak the emails accordingly.

We also build all our customer and staff surveys in DotDigital, and sign-up webpages for webinars (which emails reminders and links). Our sales team can trigger standard personalised emails following calls, with automated follow-up satisfaction surveys.

We're only using some of the many features, but I'm playing with DotDigital every week, finding something new it can support us with. I absolutely love it, can't live without it, and brought it with me when I changed company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

The reporting side needs some work, I would love to be able to customise reports for email campaigns and surveys.

The forms don't have if/then options, so no ability to ask further questions based on answers. I would also love to be able to email the notifications to different stakeholders based on a department selection - this would prevent having to set up one survey for each department and all the data could be analysed together.

The integration is a little clunky, if I want to revise how Facebook leads are captured I have to click through the set-up process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dotdigital solving and how is that benefiting you?

DotDigital allows us to send personalised emails to customers, from welcome to loyalty. Customer leads are sent directly to DotDigital from our website and Facebook ads. This saves time and also allows us to make sure we're sending relevant content. It also allows customers to unsubscribe if they no longer wish to engage with us.

We are also using DotDigital to provide the ability to sign up for webinars using a form. This then sends confirmation, reminders, and feedback survey emails after the event, with links to add the event to calendar. This has increased attendance, encouraged feedback and allowed us to stay engaged with attendees.

We have built satisfaction surveys in DotDigital and email invitations to complete, we can track who has completed and send reminders to those who haven't. This has encouraged feedback and allowed us to monitor our performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In fact, we do have an option called "Sections" that allows you to create multi-page forms and you can then apply "Section Logic", which displays specific questions based on the answers provided in previous questions. I find dotdigital intuitive and simple to use, even when doing more complex tasks like setting up automation programmes and segments. The 'how to' pages in the help centre are particularly useful and the support team are quick to respond as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dotdigital?

Love using Dotdigital for sending marketing emails, the dashboard is very easy to use and has a great amount of functions to use covering all angles when it comes to data collection, RSVP's and any kind of data. I'm a frequent user of Dotdigital for both B2B & B2B sectors and find the process from start to finish when sending a campaign very easy. Segments are a great feature to Dotdigital and I would say I use them more than anything else, capturing the right contacts from address books to make marketing emails more relevant. The design functions that are available are great too.

Another great part of Dotdigital which many other competitors don't offer is their helpful customer support team, whenever you have any kind of problem it's very easy to reach out, seek help and get on hand support within a matter of minutes via their online chat platform, they're great at keeping you updated if it's something they have to investigate further. What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

Like anything there is a few downsides to Dotdigital which one of them is not being able to update/amend the templated unsubscribe link templates, you would need to make your own and then unsubscribe people manually.

Dotdigital can sometimes be buggy when it comes to what you see in design as appose to what you see in apple mail of windows, it would be good to have an option to view the email in different leading email platforms whether it's yahoo, gmail or icloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dotdigital solving and how is that benefiting you?

For us there are two sides that Dotdigital is covering, from a B2C side it's helping with our brand awareness, getting newsletters out on time to subscribers of up to 110,000 along with linking to our website and capturing subscribers and sending off trigger campaing welcome emails. Dotdigital captures all the correct data when it comes to new subscribers and helps us keep on top of who is subscribing and if they are opening our emails.

From a B2B side it's about product awareness and marketing them to get people to buy our data along with targetting partners to sign up to our forums all around the UK. We send out emails with sign up forms and all link nicely in Dotdigital allowing us to keep on top of who is coming and who isn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
