What do you like best about Dotdigital?

The platform is easy to use for simple email marketing. Setting up Programs (Automations that are triggered by actions) are easy as well if you have a little technical understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

I dislike the total lack of account management entirely. We've gone months without hearing from our account manager. We've called, sent emails, and have gone to the support tab on their website and still waited months for a reply. What problems is Dotdigital solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can send basic marketing emails. We cannot send product recommendations, cart abandonments, transactional, or product follow-up emails. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

DotDigital is a very powerful platform that is especially well optimised for ecommerce use, with hundreds of custom fields allowed for contacts. Multi-stage campaigns can be created with the very visual program builder, and you can order EmailonAcid reports from directly in the interface. I use the platform all the time, and we have integrated it with our Microsoft Dynamics installation which works well. The best part is the support. Our Account Manager, Sean Ardley, has always been fair and helpful, and you can get detailed technical support from one of their system experts round the clock - believe me, I have used it! What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

The interface needs a little facelift, although I know this is being worked on as I have been part of some of their user testing programmes. Also, the way that folders work in the tool is far too fiddly and needs its own tool to manage it properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dotdigital?

Overall UI and ease of use - i've used other software that tends to be bloated/ complicated to use, and has roadblocks in place to stop me using it effectively - With Dotdigital, it's super helpful that it's steamlined so much, especially when it comes to teaching my colleagues how to use it, I often have to do inductions for new starters who all say they're relieved how easy to use it is.

Customer support is also stellar, WinstonAI is super helpful but I love that I can still speak to a human within seconds if I want to, unlike some companies where it's all AI/automated messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

Some intergrations can be complicated to figure out if i've set them up correctly, we've had issues with both google sheets and eventbrite - nothing some troubleshooting can't fix but wish it was a bit more plug and play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have a few issues with unreliable emails - Dotdigital solves that easily by filtering them for us on upload - We also are a bit of an older company so having the ability to self serve is essential - the quick Customer Support really helps that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dotdigital has a lot of powerful features, especially the reporting tools, which provide clear and actionable insights. The support team is fantastic—my account manager Alyssa has been super helpful and proactive, always encouraging me to explore the platform further. There’s definitely a learning curve. Some parts of the platform feel less intuitive compared to others I’ve used, which can slow things down at first. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

After using most of the ESPs on the market, I'm a Dotdigital convert! Dotdigital is much more than an email platform - it includes numerous tools that allow us to tailor our customers' experiences across their lifecycles and its data and reporting capabilities are unmatched. This platform is easy to use and easy to integrate with a variety of cart platforms, and their support team is incredible during onboarding and beyond. I use Dotdigital every day, whether or not I'm sending emails, because their reporting functions give me a great view of our entire ecommerce business. It's also been a pleasure working with our incredible Customer Success Manager, Alyssa Brown, and I always look forward to our monthly meetings! What do you like best about Dotdigital?

As an organisation we love using Dotdigital, it has a vase number of features which you can incorporate into any campaign. Compared to other platforms Dotdigital is setup to be used as a marketing function and has key elements like A/B testing, plain text etc all in mind when setting up a email campaign.

One thing which really stands out to us is the customer support tools, there are endless amount of guides along with chat support which has been more than useful at the those times you just can't figure it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

Can't fault it! Unfortunately for us internally we had a new CRM system implemented and unfortunately the integration with Dotdigital just wasn't possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have a number of colleagues across the business which need to send emails. Dotdigital allows us to train these colleagues to be self-sufficient on the platform and be responsible for their own emails. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

Dotdigital's market-leading email tool was ahead of its time 15 years ago. Since then they have strengthened it with new features and tools that are as easy to use.

They guide you through the implementation and integration with other systems.

I feel sorry for other marketers that aren't able to use Dot Digital.

When I go for a job interview and they are heavily wedded to a competitor tool with no interest in moving to dot digital I may take a pass on the job. Dot Digital is part of the kit I use to help businesses.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

There's a real risk that as Dot Digital gets bigger and adds features it will be its downfall if it can't deliver those features in as much quality as it does already for the rest of the platform. Half baked.

Having to pay extra for Google ads audiences is a bit lame.

What do you like best about Dotdigital?

The platform itself is reliable, with user-friendly interface that makes utilizing Dotdigital a breeze. Plus, customer support is extra responsive and helpful, always resolving whatever technical issues I face (which isn't many) on the spot. What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

It is first and foremost an email marketing platform with SMS marketing features. I find that there's much to improve with the SMS portion, perhaps better trackability of performance. However, having said that, SMS greatly differs region by region based on the country's telecom laws and whatnot so restrictions in what type of content is allowed in SMS might vary for this reason. Dotdigital makes personalizing communication easy for marketers at any level. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

It is easy to use, the drag an drop editor makes for really professional emails to customers, the automation is amazing and really brings in results. it is easy to manage the data and segments make it easy to direct emails to the most appropriate people - all in all it is out foremost marketing tool.The customer support is great, my account manager is really engaged and easy to get help from and the re ae many FAQs and topics to find help from whilst waiting for the account manager to get back to you. We use it daily and would be lost without it.It is easy to implement by many different staff, however we haven't yet integrated it into our CRM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
