Dotdigital is a very intuitive platform - really easy to use and navigate. The interface and UI makes it a platform that's helps to get the job done. I uses this platform almost daily.
The AI function really helps to make content development more efficient and speedy.
Uploading lists is a really simple and quick process.
Form set up is also very easy - helps to make a busy marketeers life easy.
Customer support is very good we always get a prompt response from Jay Jones in a timely manner.

The email nurture section is a little tricky. It's a new aspect to our team. maybe needs to be used more to grow confidence in using this feature.
However the training we had was good - explained in an easy to digest way.

Dot Digital has been excellent from day one. Having worked with them previously at Marie Curie and now Sue Ryder, I am finding them consistently good. The customer support from our account manager, Tom, has been great, and the online chat function sees that I never get stuck. Dot Digital is easy to use, I use it on a daily basis. There are a few key things missing from designs, and it seems that big picture thinking has been implemented instead of actually thinking of user experience. This includes things such as the chat icon blocking data in the bottom right hand corner of a report, SMS reporting via a Google Sheet not being a thing just to name a couple. Customer service - they have an amazing AI bot called Winston who answers the majority of my questions / points me to the help articles I need. If the bot can't answer it then a human is there to help within a couple of minutes. My account manager - Sean - is really helpful with more complicated questions and they've even arranged calls for our dev with their technical team over complicated coding questions.
Easy and intuitive platform - Dotdigital is a really in-depth platform with the option to do pretty much anything you could want from an ESP but it's built in such a way that you can usually figure things out and don't have to read loads of help articles / have training to be able to send an email. DotDigital is a very powerful platform that is especially well optimised for ecommerce use, with hundreds of custom fields allowed for contacts. Multi-stage campaigns can be created with the very visual program builder, and you can order EmailonAcid reports from directly in the interface. I use the platform all the time, and we have integrated it with our Microsoft Dynamics installation which works well. The best part is the support. Our Account Manager, Sean Ardley, has always been fair and helpful, and you can get detailed technical support from one of their system experts round the clock - believe me, I have used it! The interface needs a little facelift, although I know this is being worked on as I have been part of some of their user testing programmes. Also, the way that folders work in the tool is far too fiddly and needs its own tool to manage it properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall UI and ease of use - i've used other software that tends to be bloated/ complicated to use, and has roadblocks in place to stop me using it effectively - With Dotdigital, it's super helpful that it's steamlined so much, especially when it comes to teaching my colleagues how to use it, I often have to do inductions for new starters who all say they're relieved how easy to use it is.

There’s definitely a learning curve. Some parts of the platform feel less intuitive compared to others I’ve used, which can slow things down at first. After using most of the ESPs on the market, I'm a Dotdigital convert! Dotdigital is much more than an email platform - it includes numerous tools that allow us to tailor our customers' experiences across their lifecycles and its data and reporting capabilities are unmatched. This platform is easy to use and easy to integrate with a variety of cart platforms, and their support team is incredible during onboarding and beyond. I use Dotdigital every day, whether or not I'm sending emails, because their reporting functions give me a great view of our entire ecommerce business. It's also been a pleasure working with our incredible Customer Success Manager, Alyssa Brown, and I always look forward to our monthly meetings! As an organisation we love using Dotdigital, it has a vase number of features which you can incorporate into any campaign. Compared to other platforms Dotdigital is setup to be used as a marketing function and has key elements like A/B testing, plain text etc all in mind when setting up a email campaign.
