What do you like best about ClickUp?

One of the biggest game-changers has been ClickUp’s integrations and API capabilities. We’ve automated nearly half of our manual tasks, significantly improving efficiency and freeing up time for higher-value work. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The only area we’d love to see improved is the access requirements for our client portals. Setting up permissions could be a bit more user-friendly, especially when managing external users. What do you like best about ClickUp?

They started off with a great start on having project mgmt., note-taking & documentation, collaboration tools, and task management tools all in under one roof. However, after over 4 years of using it for both business and personal, and being a paying subscriber, I am ready to move on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

TERRIBLE support. Forget about trying to reach a live human being, whether through email, chat, or phone. I'm still waiting for a response to my Gantt chart not accepting start/stop times to my tasks afer a week of submitting a ticket. You also have no way of exporting your documents or notes out of this system and into word or some other editable text program. The Time keeping module randomly changes your hours, so using it as a reliable time-tracking tool is out of the question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

- It's flexible, meaning you can configure it how you need it to be, making it suitable for any team: technical teams like IT, marketing, creative teams etc.

- It has revolutionized the way our teams communicate and keep track of our work because now we're not using different systems to keep track of updates on campaigns and activities. We just log in daily (or rather hourly!) in ClickUp and check the updates directly on the task card.

- The support from the ClickUp team is fantastic. I love that they listen to their community and make tweaks and updates that we actually request. They have a features request page where you can make requests and upvote other people's requests and it's not just for show. A lot of the requests I've upvoted in the past have actually been implemented.

- Tech issues are rare and get fixed quickly. Most recent issue I had was solved in a matter of 30 mins, via chat directly on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

- Sometimes, you need to refresh the page for the latest updates to be visible.

- Board view has been slow to update more recently, but issue gets fixed with a refresh

- ClickUp does have some out-of-the-box templates you can use to start right away, if you are part of a larger team or if your use cases are a bit more complex, implementation on your own can be quite tricky.

- If you are an Enterprise company like us and have very strict IT security policies, you might have trouble leveraging some of the integrations that ClickUp offers with other products, however that can vary depending on the company's internal policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Improved cross-team collaboration and productivity

- Single source of truth for our projects and activities, no longer distributing the communication on multiple platforms, making it easier to keep track of updates.

- Transparent ticketing system and ticket management for marketing teams

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I love most about ClickUp is how it replaces multiple tools in one place. No more switching between multiple apps. It offers an unparalleled number of features compared to other software.

It's also highly customizable to fit any workflow thanks to features like multiple views that let me set up projects exactly how I need, dashboards that give me a clear view of reports and stats, and automations that save me hours by handling repetitive tasks. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp helps me structure my consulting workflow by creating custom templates for client projects, deliverables, and reporting. What do you like best about ClickUp?

The ability to show all team members' workloads in one place, including workshops and vacations has been a game changer. Also, the ability to save and reuse templates for preparing for those workshops has increased our productivity and reduced errors and frustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I dislike the push toward AI and all that it can do--for an additional price of course--when we don't want it. I get my hopes up for a new productivity idea only to have them crash down when I see it's done through AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Our team is spread over four time zones in three different countries. We must have clear communication between our team members or there is a minimum one-day delay. Assigning tasks to each other instead of emailing or sending Teams messages is much more efficient. We chat and update through the task itself so it's much easier to find those related conversations instead of wondering "was that message in an email or did she message me?" and "When was that needed?" or "How urgent is it?" All of those questions are answered in a well-crafted task.

2. When we do a one-off project we can create a separate task list with its own statuses and work flow. We aren't tied into doing everything the same way or "making do." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you/your department uses ClickUp but others do not, it can be difficult to share information with people who do not have a ClickUp account. It's not impossible, but it can be a bit confusing.

This software has advanced so much since the first time I started using it 4 years ago, but one thing remained the same: it's very accessible for newbies, or anyone who wants to start using a project management tool. While they are continuously adding new features, I think there are missing pieces that need to be prioritized. I use it daily, and I still find features that does not exist. What do you like best about ClickUp?

It is straightforward to work with; you can have everything organized in folders and lists, the template system is excellent, and the import from other tools is powerful. It's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The desktop tool does not support Spanish for autocorrect; it is usually prolonged, and sometimes it has failed to create tasks or modify them; the free version gives you many essential options, but going to the paid version is not as cheap as it seems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before, I did not have clear visibility of the status of the projects; Since I've been using ClickUp, it's much easier to know, thanks to the variety of views and functions. What do you like best about ClickUp?

Clickup is easily connected with other apps like Zoho Cliq and email in my organization making process flow very seamless and effective. I customized each project board to my liking and I get notifications for progress on those tasks. I also have different spaces for different department and can keep files in just one place, I currently have about 30 people on my team and they were all accommodated on the free plan, you can generate a stand up report at the click of a button, it was such a steal and I didn't think twice about upgrading to a paid user. I love It's AI powered automation,

Its customizable dashboards that allow us users to visualize project performance and gain real-time insights.
