What do you like best about ClickUp?

One of ClickUp's most useful features is its hierarchical system for organizing tasks. You can create tasks, subtasks and to-do lists within a project, so you can clearly see where your project is going and what needs to be done. In addition, the tagging system and the ability to add comments to tasks make it easy to update and collaborate with the team.

Another great feature of ClickUp is that you can customize the view and structure of the tool to suit your needs. I can set up custom dashboards, change the colors and font and adjust the view to suit my work style. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp is a fantastic tool, but it needs some improvements. It can sometimes be slow when loading large projects, and integration with other applications such as Google Calendar can be a bit awkward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp has solved many of my project management problems and has greatly increased my productivity. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive and customizable project and task management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What can I say bad about ClickUp? It has continued to be the most up to date, streamlined platform out there. Whether you need a simple project management platform, or a complex all inclusive management platform, ClickUp can always rise to the occasion. The flexibility and reporting alone is what makes this app incredible. You can become a master documenter and task tracker with this platform. I will always use ClickUp for myself and my clients to create custom spaces that fit their businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The ONLY two complaints I have about ClickUp is their flexability within their pricing structure and their chat feature. Sometimes my clients can't afford the more expensive plans but they need one or two features to really help their business sour. ClickUp, please don't get greedy! Chat feature is also a bummer. I need something like Slack and I don't find the notification system reliable. They need to build a dedicated chat feature outside of the list/space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is solving having all I need in one space to get all my client work organized and on time. I use the due date feature to keep me on track. The ability to build out a space for each client and see my overview on the everything tab saves my life time and time again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love how ClickUp brings together multiple productivity tools into one place—task management, documents, whiteboards, reporting—making it simple to keep everything organized. It’s flexible enough to fit any workflow, and the customizable views (like List, Board, and Gantt) let you see projects in whichever format you prefer. Plus, features like Automations and Templates help save loads of time. It’s like a productivity hub that adapts to your needs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

While I find ClickUp incredibly powerful, its wide range of features can make it feel overwhelming at first. Some new users report a steeper learning curve and occasional performance hiccups, especially with large or complex workspaces. Additionally, because it's so customizable, setting up the perfect workflow can take a bit of trial and error. That said, once you settle into a routine, its robustness often outweighs the initial effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps consolidate everything—tasks, communication, documentation—into one central hub, eliminating the chaos of juggling multiple tools. This centralization means fewer context switches and a single source of truth for every project, which saves me time and reduces miscommunication. The platform’s real-time collaboration features and customizable workflows further streamline teamwork, ensuring everyone stays on the same page and can adapt quickly to changes. What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp is an incredibly flexible and powerful project management tool that perfectly suits the needs of my development teams. The ability to customize workflows, automate processes, and integrate seamlessly with other tools makes it an essential part of our daily operations. The different views (list, board, and calendar) allow for efficient task management, and the built-in documentation features help keep everything in one place. The platform's speed and reliability ensure that our projects stay on track without disruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Honestly, there's very little to dislike. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the interface might seem overwhelming to new users due to the vast number of features. However, once you get used to it, ClickUp becomes an irreplaceable tool for managing complex projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp has completely transformed the way we manage projects by automating key processes and improving communication between our team and clients. With its powerful automation features, we’ve eliminated repetitive tasks, ensuring that project updates, task assignments, and deadline reminders happen seamlessly.

Client communication has also improved significantly—using shared dashboards, custom statuses, and integrated docs, we keep stakeholders informed without endless emails. For our development team, ClickUp provides a centralized space where tasks, discussions, and documentation are easily accessible, boosting efficiency and collaboration.

Thanks to ClickUp, our workflow is more structured, projects run smoothly, and we can focus on delivering high-quality results instead of managing administrative overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

The best feature of ClickUp is the color coded priority flags to keep me on course in completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

This is not as a dislike it's more of a suggestion if ClickUp would consider a "no priority flag" that can act as neither a high nor a low priority level but more of a category for action items that can be attended to another time. Low priority to me means it should be completed by its set due date. A "no priority" flag would not have a due date but it does not necessarily mean it is a low priority. It could be a top priority but without a timeline. Not sure if this makes sense. Hopefully someone can see where I'm going with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is solving how I get action items completed according to its priority level. It helps me target those important high priority items when my brain energy is at its highest and to reserve the low priority action items that do not require much brain energy (i.e. able to complete low priority items after a meal when normally I wouldn't be able to problem solve a high priority action item after a meal). What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp’s flexibility is its biggest strength — the ability to customize views, statuses, and workflows means it can adapt to almost any team’s process. The sheer number of features allows us to manage everything from daily tasks to long-term roadmaps in one place. It’s great to have all our work centralized, and the customizable dashboards make reporting clear and tailored to what we need. Another big plus is the wide range of integrations ClickUp offers — connecting with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and Jira makes it easy to keep our existing workflows intact without constantly switching between platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

With so many features, ClickUp can feel overwhelming, especially for new users. Some settings feel buried under too many menus, and the learning curve is steeper than expected. Occasionally, performance lags when loading larger spaces or timelines. The mobile app also feels less polished compared to the desktop experience, which makes quick updates on the go more frustrating than they should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps us consolidate all our project management, task tracking, and documentation into one platform, eliminating the need for juggling multiple tools. By having everything from sprint planning to individual task assignments and even team documentation in one place, it saves us time and reduces miscommunication. The flexibility to customize views (like Kanban boards, lists, and timelines) means every team — from development to QA to management — can work in a way that suits them best, while still keeping data centralized. This helps with visibility across teams and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

It is a all-in-one tool that we work with on a daily basis. We can create an easy project overview, detailed imported list with on an individual level so we can plan for our field service team, and can link it all to dashboards and a finance overview. I would recommend ClickUp to all sorts of teams, or even for individual planning. I cannot imagine doing work and leading my team without ClickUp anymore. I like that it develops fast and new features are introduced quite often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

There is somewhat of a steep learning curve for colleagues who are not digitally orientated. Besides, the AI and automatic features are not that suitable for our case, so we still have quite some manual administrative work. Also, the API does not work with some programmes we'd like to integrate. Furthermore, there are some bugs that can become a bit irritating over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating a centralised tool where people of multiple disciplines can work together and simultaneously in a live workspace, where no data can be lost (easily) or that people work in older version. Colleagues of all levels see their priorities and it creates a central point of important data coming together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp has been a game-changer for our team, transforming outdated workflows in both bug tracking and new product development. With the ability to create structured statuses that accurately reflect task progress, we’ve eliminated confusion and improved visibility across projects. Our bug tracking system, which was once housed in Redmine felt disconnected and had no visibility. After creating our new system in ClickUp, we had a seamless launch and continue having a great workflow from triage to resolution, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. We've easily implemented automations to save our team from time consuming manual work which has really saved us as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The biggest downside of ClickUp so far is that our team would love to see more automations and better CRM options so our whole team can live only on ClickUp. We've been supplementing with Zapier for automations and that has really improved our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp dashboards is helping our team report on things we had no way of doing in our previous software. We've also significantly increased the value of our processes and workflows utilizing automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I like the ability to make it my own - various statuses, filters, views etc. We use it a lot with Development team - to report bugs, request features, and discuss on the best solution. I also like it as a meeting agenda tool and project management tool. They are very proactive, I had a call with their UX/UI guy about the AI features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The onboarding takes some time, especially coming from a very specific project management tool. They do have an online academy with videos to help get around. I am still trying to understand how my own tasks can be best added here so I can only use clickup for my reminders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can see all the workflows in one place, i can see progress of other people's work. I can see when and what we will be talk about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I have been using ClickUp for a long time now. But something happened in the last year. It completely reimagined itself and has become very powerful in several contexts.

Today, when my colleagues wonder if they can get something done through ClickUp, they are not asking if it is "possible", they are asking "how it will happen". It is assumed there is surely a way ClickUp will handle it.

It is easy to use and install. I have not had much need for customer support as it was smooth to implement and use. I use ClickUp almost all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

It is too expensive for me. But I pay. I know it is valuable. But for me, it is not affordable. I still use it but I know it is a luxury for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is keeping me personally organised and in synch with my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

One of the biggest game-changers has been ClickUp’s integrations and API capabilities. We’ve automated nearly half of our manual tasks, significantly improving efficiency and freeing up time for higher-value work. The ability to customize dashboards, set up automations, and integrate with our existing tools makes ClickUp an indispensable part of our tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The only area we’d love to see improved is the access requirements for our client portals. Setting up permissions could be a bit more user-friendly, especially when managing external users. A more streamlined way to grant access would make ClickUp even better for client collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp has helped us eliminate scattered workflows and manual processes, making project management seamless. With its time tracking and integrations, we now have real-time insights into client profitability, allowing us to make data-driven decisions on resourcing and pricing. Automations and streamlined task management have saved our team countless hours, reducing operational bottlenecks and improving overall efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
