its user-friendly interface, task management capabilities, project tracking and reporting tools, time tracking, and integrations with other software tools. Additionally, ClickUp offers various views such as a list view, board view, calendar view, and Gantt chart view to help teams visualize their tasks and projects in different ways. it can be overwhelming for users who are new to project management tools or who prefer simpler interfaces. It can be better by Improving onboarding: ClickUp could offer more guided tours or tutorials to help new users understand the various features and functionalities of the tool. The onboarding process could be more interactive and engaging, allowing users to learn at their own pace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my first review (2021), I mentioned the inability to easily look at the time tracked by project or team member during a given period. This has since been updated and now there's an easy-to-use dashboard that does exactly this! I've been able to stop using the other time tracking app I used and now use ClickUp for that instead.
They've also released customizable dashboards for spaces and folders which I LOVE. We're able to keep important documents, links, and resources all in one easy-to-find place. You can also add widgets that breakdown tasks by assignee, time spent on the project, overdue tasks, etc. It's all super customizable and has made using ClickUp for project management even more seamless. Organizing ClickUp docs could definitely use some work. Adding tags to a document has become part of their more expensive tiers, which was the easiest way to view all the documents for a specific client/subject/etc. It would be great if they gave the ability to sort docs into folders within the docs tab, similar to Google Drive. ClickUp gives me full operational visibility without sacrificing flexibility. I can build custom dashboards to monitor strategic KPIs, use multiple views to manage complexity, and keep all teams aligned. It supports both high-level planning and daily execution seamlessly. The mobile experience can feel a bit clunky when switching between workspaces or dashboards, and some visual updates occasionally impact performance. Nothing critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ClickUp is an incredibly versatile platform that keeps my team organised and on track. The task management and scheduling features make it easy to stay on top of deadlines, while the real-time updates ensure we always know what everyone is working on. The number of features—custom views, automation, and integrations—means we can tailor it perfectly to our workflow. ClickUp isintuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that I can think of right now! It has everything we need and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part about ClickUp is the ability to create custom dashboard that prioritise certain types of tasks. It's easy to use the workload view to assign these tasks around your team, and share the aforementioned dashboards with your clients so that they can see what's important to them in a dedicated area. Best of all - it integrates with existing services such as GitHub and if you're a developer, it's easy to create custom integrations if that's more your jam. I now use this on a daily basis to manage all of my projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Biggest con has to be speed and memory usage with larger projects, although it's easy to get in touch with support regarding this and they are consistently updating the app to improve this. It can also take a good while to set everything up to work how you want it to and implement it into your current systems, but trust me, it'll be worth it once this has been done. At Flying Kiwi, we’ve tried many different tools for project management and internal communication—but ClickUp is the one that finally ticks all the boxes. It’s smart, innovative, and incredibly well-organized. Whether it’s managing tasks, tracking progress, or staying in sync as a team, ClickUp does it all seamlessly.
What really sets it apart is how it keeps evolving. With new features constantly being added, ClickUp keeps getting better, making our workflow even smoother. It’s the perfect match for the way we work. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that the learning curve can be a bit steep at first due to the many options. But once you’re familiar with it, the possibilities are endless. For us, ClickUp is exactly what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to use and build upon. You can build a really simple project, and continue to build upon it constantly. Really easy to implement dashboards, reports, analytics & KPIs, for constant improvement. Customer support is quick to respond and the built-in Bot is really helpful as well. Integration with 3rd party tools is super easy, even if ClickUp doesn't have direct integration with some tools, you can integrate zapier, integromat or Make to complete additional (non-direct) integrations super easy. Haha, this might sound crazy, but absolutely nothing! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Assigning tasks, tracking project progress, integrations, and also the ability to create task and list templates that auto-assign to the right people and make sure things are standardized and nothing falls through the cracks.
We use it every day and work to consolidate everything internally and externally for clients to have everything in one place that they can easily access.
Their support is also really helpful and they have a lot of good docs/blog articles for how to implement things more easily.
The basics are easy to implement, it's the more complicated stuff like integrations and automations that take more time and experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be really nice if they add more integrations and if the ClickUp AI was better at generating reports of what users are doing and giving actual feedback/insights/action items for how to improve workflows rather than just a summary of what tasks people have completed. What can I say bad about ClickUp? It has continued to be the most up to date, streamlined platform out there. Whether you need a simple project management platform, or a complex all inclusive management platform, ClickUp can always rise to the occasion. The flexibility and reporting alone is what makes this app incredible. You can become a master documenter and task tracker with this platform. I will always use ClickUp for myself and my clients to create custom spaces that fit their businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ONLY two complaints I have about ClickUp is their flexability within their pricing structure and their chat feature. Sometimes my clients can't afford the more expensive plans but they need one or two features to really help their business sour. ClickUp, please don't get greedy! Chat feature is also a bummer. I need something like Slack and I don't find the notification system reliable. They need to build a dedicated chat feature outside of the list/space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interconnectivity of all things makes keeping track of what's important a breeze. Building in automation, wikis, and workflows makes day-to-day tasks so much easier and faster. ClickUp is my central hub for everything I do in my business and I wouldn't have it any other way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think some of the user permissioning systems are locked behind higher paywalls than seems reasonable for growing businesses. I would love if ClickUp built in some true CRM capabilities so it can be used to that end better without having to use tons of Zapier automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ClickUp can do anything, but doesn't have to. They've found an excellent way to design the user interface so it isn't difficult or overwhelming, yet you have nearly limitless opportunities on how to use the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their mobile app and automation could use some improvements, but they did completely rehaul their mobile app and it's 100x better. Likewise, automation depends on your ability to set it up, use it correctly, and your plan purchased. Both are not major dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
