What do you like best about ClickUp?

I've used Jira, Asana, and Trello - ClickUp has the most useful features while remaining snappy. Configurability is easy for anyone in the team, and the ClickUp team pushes out significant updates with regularity, so I know they're on top of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

There are a couple of useful features I'm missing, but they aren't necessarily present elsewhere. Tracking the actual time taken to do a task according to assignee would help it bridge the gap towards a full timing solution. I've also noticed the odd data sync issue, with text or assignees, and lastly, sometimes if you make a task, it'll vanish because your board is filtering it out - it'd be nice if this stuck around until you can fill in more fields. What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helps me keep all my issues in one place and gives me a good excuse as to why I'm busy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I use ClickUp all over. It is core to my daily workflow, project plan and knowledge base. I love how everything is on one place. I have used many tools over the years to help me keep track of work and clickup solves all the problems for me. I like the flexibility that clickup offers - I have made so many lists from tasks management, renovations, project management, software projects, property investing, meeting minutes and tracking info,. I feel that it is a must-have for any business- from one man shows to more corpotartes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I find clickup intuitive, but feel comforatble with technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp seriously fixed my mess of scattered info and forgotten tasks. I used to have projects, SOPs, meeting notes, and all those recurring tasks spread across who-knows-how-many tools.

Templates are a lifesaver, especially for the stuff I do over and over again. And having my SOPs right there means I can find them fast when I need to. With the new AI Brain I can also search across all my docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp is an all-on-one tool we need for our company. We love it because it includes a lot of tools we need for our collaboration, management and so on. Besides, ClickUp is very active with many new features or improvements released every month.

Another reason we love to go with ClickUp for a longterm journey is the good pricing structure they have. The price is reasonable and very compatible with the other management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Currently we don't have much disappointed things with using ClickUp. However, I hope that new features that they add in the future won't affect the performance of the platform. Please should always care about performance and stable of of the cache system of your product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

We moved for other famous management tools to ClickUp because it provide all-in-one solution. It centralize our information, discussions, time management, etc. in one place. So we don't have to open so much application to start our work everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I love most about ClickUp is how effortlessly it brings our team and clients onto the same page.

The platform gives us everything—from Kanban boards and Gantt charts to Docs and whiteboards—in one place, so we can brainstorm, plan, and execute without hopping between tools.

Real‑time comments, easy @mentions, and granular permissions mean clients can see exactly what they need (and nothing they don’t) while still collaborating directly in the task or doc. Add in powerful automations, custom fields, and integrations with Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom, and ClickUp becomes a true “command center” that keeps projects moving and communication crystal‑clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Because ClickUp packs so much power under one roof, it can occasionally feel like drinking from a firehose. New teammates—and even some clients—need a solid onboarding session before they’re comfortable navigating all the views, hierarchies, and settings. The depth of customization is fantastic, but it also means you can spend a lot of time tweaking rather than doing. We’ve also noticed that large workspaces (thousands of tasks, lots of automations) can lag or throw the occasional “Something went wrong” error, especially in the desktop app. The mobile experience is improving but still feels pared‑down compared with the web version, and native reporting dashboards sometimes require creative work‑arounds or third‑party tools to get the exact metrics we want. In short, ClickUp’s versatility is both its superpower and its biggest hurdle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ability to invite guest users and collaborate with them is a great feature and helped us reduce hours of meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

As a small marketing agency, I love that ClickUp solved my biggest pain point - automating client approval workflows. After struggling with Notion for two years, the ability to set up automations in seconds (that move items from team view to client view) has been revolutionary. ClickUp replaced multiple subscriptions (Loom, Slack, and Notion) while providing an organized system with dedicated lists, folders, and docs that don't require building from scratch. Everything feels naturally organized, saving hours previously spent just maintaining our workspace, and allowing more time for actual client projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

While transitioning from Notion, my team is still figuring out certain ClickUp features, which has created a slight learning curve. If you've built extensive systems in another platform, expect some adjustment time as you learn ClickUp's approach to similar functions. I wouldn't say there's anything I truly dislike - the transition period is the only challenge we've experienced so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is solving three critical problems for my marketing agency. First, it eliminated the manual approval workflow nightmare - items now automatically move from team view to client-facing approval lists, saving hours of administrative work each week. Second, it consolidated multiple subscriptions (Notion, Loom, and Slack) into one platform, reducing both costs and app-switching. Third, it solved the "building versus doing" problem - I was spending more time creating workspaces in Notion than actually working on client deliverables. The benefit has been transformative: my team spends significantly more time on revenue-generating client work instead of system maintenance, our client approval process is streamlined through automation I set up in seconds (versus the $5K quotes from Notion experts), and everything feels naturally organized with pre-built systems. This efficiency gain directly translates to better client service and improved profitability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

In my first review (2021), I mentioned the inability to easily look at the time tracked by project or team member during a given period. This has since been updated and now there's an easy-to-use dashboard that does exactly this! I've been able to stop using the other time tracking app I used and now use ClickUp for that instead.

They've also released customizable dashboards for spaces and folders which I LOVE. We're able to keep important documents, links, and resources all in one easy-to-find place. You can also add widgets that breakdown tasks by assignee, time spent on the project, overdue tasks, etc. It's all super customizable and has made using ClickUp for project management even more seamless. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Organizing ClickUp docs could definitely use some work. Adding tags to a document has become part of their more expensive tiers, which was the easiest way to view all the documents for a specific client/subject/etc. It would be great if they gave the ability to sort docs into folders within the docs tab, similar to Google Drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've been using ClickUp primarily to manage several projects with my team. It's really helped us stay on track, especially while working remotely. It's great because I can log in and see a project's status without having to interrupt their day. We can also communicate directly under a task which means all of the information stays in one space. We hardly ever use Slack anymore because ClickUp is so much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp gives me full operational visibility without sacrificing flexibility. I can build custom dashboards to monitor strategic KPIs, use multiple views to manage complexity, and keep all teams aligned. It supports both high-level planning and daily execution seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The mobile experience can feel a bit clunky when switching between workspaces or dashboards, and some visual updates occasionally impact performance. Nothing critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp solved one of my biggest challenges as a COO: having a complete, reliable view of what each team is doing, in real time. Unlike other tools like Trello, which felt too limited for growing operational complexity, ClickUp brings me confidence in tracking tasks, people, and deadlines — with the depth I need. It also unlocks more autonomy and clarity for teams, with flexible task structures, templates, and automation. It helps me lead with visibility and act with precision, without having to micromanage or chase information across multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp is an incredibly versatile platform that keeps my team organised and on track. The task management and scheduling features make it easy to stay on top of deadlines, while the real-time updates ensure we always know what everyone is working on. The number of features—custom views, automation, and integrations—means we can tailor it perfectly to our workflow. ClickUp isintuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Nothing that I can think of right now! It has everything we need and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps streamline project management, team collaboration, and task organisation, eliminating the need for multiple tools. It centralises all our work, making it easy to track progress, manage deadlines, and ensure accountability across the team. The automation features save time on repetitive tasks, while custom dashboards provide a clear overview of ongoing projects. This has significantly improved efficiency, reduced miscommunication, and allowed us to focus more on strategic work rather than admin-heavy coordination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

The best part about ClickUp is the ability to create custom dashboard that prioritise certain types of tasks. It's easy to use the workload view to assign these tasks around your team, and share the aforementioned dashboards with your clients so that they can see what's important to them in a dedicated area. Best of all - it integrates with existing services such as GitHub and if you're a developer, it's easy to create custom integrations if that's more your jam. I now use this on a daily basis to manage all of my projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Biggest con has to be speed and memory usage with larger projects, although it's easy to get in touch with support regarding this and they are consistently updating the app to improve this. It can also take a good while to set everything up to work how you want it to and implement it into your current systems, but trust me, it'll be worth it once this has been done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to be open and transparent with clients about where the status of tasks is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

At Flying Kiwi, we’ve tried many different tools for project management and internal communication—but ClickUp is the one that finally ticks all the boxes. It’s smart, innovative, and incredibly well-organized. Whether it’s managing tasks, tracking progress, or staying in sync as a team, ClickUp does it all seamlessly.

What really sets it apart is how it keeps evolving. With new features constantly being added, ClickUp keeps getting better, making our workflow even smoother. It’s the perfect match for the way we work. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that the learning curve can be a bit steep at first due to the many options. But once you’re familiar with it, the possibilities are endless. For us, ClickUp is exactly what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps us centralize everything, from project planning and task management to internal communication. Before, we used multiple tools to stay organized, which often led to confusion and things slipping through the cracks. With ClickUp, everything lives in one place, making collaboration smoother, progress more visible, and priorities easier to manage. It saves us time, keeps everyone aligned and supports a much more efficient workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

Very easy to use and build upon. You can build a really simple project, and continue to build upon it constantly. Really easy to implement dashboards, reports, analytics & KPIs, for constant improvement. Customer support is quick to respond and the built-in Bot is really helpful as well. Integration with 3rd party tools is super easy, even if ClickUp doesn't have direct integration with some tools, you can integrate zapier, integromat or Make to complete additional (non-direct) integrations super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Haha, this might sound crazy, but absolutely nothing! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I report a bug to ClickUp support, response and bug resolution is really fast, which benefits us and our clients to become more structured. ClickUp solves complicated product & project management that we deal on a daily basis, implementing and organizing a project/product in ClickUp is excellect. Organizing projects in other tools wastes admin and PM time, where we could focus on product/project delivery instead of configuring complex fields & reports..
