- Building tours is fairly intuitive.
- It's easy to bring in data from your other platforms.
- Updates to lists etc. happen fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Some of the user experience is not the best: searching works differently in different views, you can't resize columns making audiences hard to see, editing is different in different views and UI is sometimes cumbersome.
- There could be more standardized suggestions for different types of notifications, tours, etc. as well as preformatted visuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very good product tour feature & helps you to save the UI effort on your product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a bit complex to use initially & takes some time to understand it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have found Chameleon to be straightforward to use and implement. You can create something great in just a few minutes. It's easy to gain insights into the performance of your various tours and surveys. The activity feed and change log are excellent for teams, providing visibility into everyone's contributions. I also appreciate the ability to add other environments seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, I find the design customisations to be a bit lacking – there are no options to adjust the distance between text and padding or the button padding. That might be to keep it easy-entry for some people.
I've also noticed that some of the demos feature cool popups, but I've found it frustrating trying to find the tools or settings they used to recreate them. For example I want to emulate the style of the purple walkthrough they have on the tours page. Just tell me how I can do that! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Chameleon has been my go-to tool for creating product tours and running NPS surveys, it gets the job done efficiently! Definitely a solid too!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As someone without a lot of technical expertise, I found Chameleon incredibly approachable. The no-code builder through the Chrome Extension made the task of designing tours much more manageable than I anticipated. It really feels like you’re creating something powerful without the technical overhead.
Customer support has also been top-notch, above and beyond. Any time I had a question or wanted to do something a bit outside the scope of what the program is built for they were there to answer my questions and come up with solutions.
Even though I don’t use Chameleon every single day, I love that I can hop back in whenever I need to create a new guide or modify an existing one. I feel confident using it, which speaks volumes considering I had very little technical background going in.
If you’re like me and want a tool that simplifies user onboarding while offering plenty of customizable options, Chameleon is a fantastic choice Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I can think of is the lack of really powerful analytics. There are some great analytics tools in Chameleon, more than enough for our needs, but I would say Chameleon is focused mainly on the guides, less so on the analytics, but there are TONS of third party integrations that can pull some extra weight on the analytics side if you want.
Overall, Chameleon is a top notch program with top notch customer support, and is perfect for creating robust tutorials and user guides in minutes, not weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
