As a developer, it was easy to include in the project, did not have any issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe it could work from other platforms instead of a browser extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Requires no-to-low code skills. Product teams can can bolster new feature releases with a wide range of in-product communications, all without engineering support. I like that I can get very targeted with who sees and uses the tours/launchers/tool tips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UX isn't the smoothest. It gets the job done.
I had some issues early on where Chmln was causing my browser to crash on my local machine, but the support team was pretty fantastic with researching and fixing the issue in a quick manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good service and very good product. Checklists and ability to target specific groups of users are for me the reason to choose for Chameleon, together with the pricing, as for most onboarding software you need the supercoorporate plan to be able to do this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am just using Chameleon for a couple of weeks, so far now dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Constantly adding functionality. Good support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very slow UI. it takes very long to perform basic tasks.
Multi-language support (last checked Nov 2019) Is totally missing, VERY hard to manage that side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has many funcitonalities (like surveys, tooltips, embedds, etc) and data gathering is pretty simple and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it would be great if there was a way to make the onboarding tours mobile friendly (or IOs and Android compatible), Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our favorite thing about Chameleon so far is the support. It seems that Pulkit and the team care about their customers, even on the lower-level plans. They do a lot to help you find early success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We researched a dozen tools for our new product onboarding experience and ended up going with Chameleon. In our research, we felt that Chameleon had a slightly less intuitive builder interface than its closest competitor. That being said, it hasn't been a barrier to us getting started and we felt that the upsides of Chameleon far outweighed this minor nitpick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface makes it easy to self learn. Their support team is fabulous and they seem to be always rolling out feature updates. Their pricing is also reasonable, making it a much more viable option for smaller/early stage software companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Analytics is not as comprehensive as other products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
