Chameleon checked all of the boxes during my search for the right onboarding tool for our company. We required a tool that synced both way into Segment, and that provided launchers, tooltips, and hotspots. And Chameleon checked all of those boxes.
I would like to also add that the Chameleon technical support is extremely efficient and polite. I've been very happy with the Chameleon team and overall the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times the Chameleon UX chrome extension is a little tricky to navigate, and sometimes there are UX issues when searching for users based on user_ID. If it were not for those issues, I would have given a 10/10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tour functionality - especially when we are rolling out to new User groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The editor is not user-friendly. It does take a lot of time to familiarize with buttons to get the Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite feature is the ability to bring custom attributes into Chameleon. The custom attributes have enabled our Customer Experience team to create immersive and detailed tours for users. Additionally, Chameleon provides flexible data outputs for limitless analytical possibilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike Chameleon's out of the box analytics. The dashboard is helpful, but if you'd interested in learning more about your tours you need to export the data and use another tool.
I'd love more self-service analytics out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The team behind Chameleon is SUPER helpful. Beyond that, the product has a great UX for our clients, keeping them engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little challenging to get up and running, but thankfully the team behind it is great at helping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The direct browser integration and GUI makes it easy for those outside the tech team to configure it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None really, its an effective way to train users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tours feature is very easy to use and I can create modals for almost any use case inside our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike there, although the designer is good but can have more improvements in terms of options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy the ability to create popups on our client dashboards that direct users to new sales opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how hard it is to get the triggers to work according to how they say they'll work. For instance, showing a pop up every time a page refreshes does not work on our site for some reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is easy to use and I like not having to pull developers off projects to add training tours or updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Need the option to build tours on mobile Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Quick to get setup with pixel. Simple to set up pop-ups, good out of the box analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UX navigating between dashboard and editing a launcher is a little wonky. Sometimes you leave it on edit mode and everytime you revisit your own website Chameleon takes precedence over regular navigation which is frustrating. Need a developer to get your pop-ups styled on brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
