- easy to use interface

- scheduling functionality

- can add RSS feeds and share things easily

- they send way too many emails (sure you can unsubscribe, but this is annoying)

- you can't directly connect Instagram with Buffer (you have to IFTTT to do this)

- can't view Twitter feed

What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use this to schedule social media posts beforehand. I have a calendar for posting and I can schedule all the posts all at once in a day for the month, and then not have to worry about updating social media constantly. "Best, easiest social posting mechanism"

What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer's set-it-and-forget-it capabilities. I don't have time to be scheduling everything, or manually separating my shareable items, so letting Buffer do that work for me is important. The other thing I like is the simplicity and ubiquitousness. One click on the browser extension brings up the share sheet, if I have text selected it auto-fills that into the post. What do you dislike about Buffer?

I wish the scheduling was dynamic for every day based on my followers' historical usage. Right now you can set recommended times, but I wish I could set chunks of time and it would post at the optimal moment for each chunk during the day. We don't have a dedicated social media expert in house that can handle this full time, so having the option to quickly set up some posts is key for us. We really need to make the most of our time. I like that I can be anywhere on the web and instantly add what I'm looking at to share on any social platform if I feel it's relevant to my audience. I can also find analytics on posts I've made. What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer is so simple and easy to use. I originally started using Buffer for the queue - it makes it so simple to tell a better story and stay consistent across our social media platforms. Now that I have more data in the system, Buffer analytics helps me stay on top of my numbers and make any changes as needed. Plus, their blog is my go-to for social media resources.
