Bill.com is easy to use for small businesses and easy to implement and the have tutorials to view that instruct the user how to use the platform. The AI technology is okay as long as you don't require breaking out line items on an invoice to multiple Chart of Account codes. It provides a flexible approval process that meets auditable internal controls that Quickbooks does not provide. It allows the full chart of accounts and class codes to be imported for use in coding the bills. It syncs both the information from the coding and places a copy of the invoice with the transaction into QuickBooks. It allows accountant access without charging for a user. Bill.com sets up a personalized email address that you can share with vendors so they can send their bills directly to Bill.com (which I normally don't advise my clients to do because it marries you to Bill.com and it would take a large effort to recontact all the vendors to give them a new address if the business ever outgrew Bill.com). Bill.com has a huge vendor network making vendor payment setup a breeze. One only needs to verify the address and invite the vendor to accept payments through Bill.com (which is a big plus for vendors because once the invite is accepted they will know in real-time when the bill has been approved, paid, and sent out). Overall, Bill.com provides functionality that Quickbooks doesn't. It allows the auditors during an audit to access their sample testing without having to pull hard copy backups which saves time. Despite its downfalls, it has more pros than cons, and it fits the bill when partnered with Quickbooks. I have recommended this product to many clients and it has made their processing easier, but it has its pitfalls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bill.com's syncing or ease of integration is poor. If any attachment (bill or email) is anything but a PDF it will not sync to Quickbooks nor does bill.com give you any insight into which transaction that hasn't synced. The only way you can find out most times is by calling or chatting with customer service which is always a lengthy process because they outsource Customer Support Chat overseas. I also find that Customer support has to talk to the developers with every question you bring to them because they don't understand how the software works. A simple why is this happening or why didn't it sync could take a half hour for an answer.
You can't print a bill to a PDF or email a bill out of bill.com (you only have the option to download it while in the inbox).
Bill.com charges by user which can be very costly for a small business that has multiple department heads who have a frequency of use of 2-3 times a year. In essence, clients are paying for an infrequent user every month even if they haven't logged in because no bill has come in for their approval. For my clients, I would prefer an approval fee (similar to how they bill for each payment) or an active login fee per month.
Bill.com has no way of canceling a check that has already been drafted without incurring a hefty stop payment fee even if you still have the check in hand (or a check was returned to you). You have to wait 91 days for the check to expire before the money will be redeposited into your bank account which is difficult for small businesses.
The platform allows a one-page remittance to be attached to a check that is issued, However, the one-page document is reduced to a small image on the check stub which barely makes it productive. Allowing a full-page remittance to be sent with a check, even at a small cost per page, would be worth it.
Bill.com lacks some low-hanging fruit processes which could be easily incorporated into the software but I've not seen development adopt any suggested changes over the two years I've used the system. Communication and transparency on syncing are inferior and time-consuming, but if it is an approval process you are seeking when using Quickbooks this is the only option out there that will sync with Quickbooks. It simplifies bill processing and automation also very easy which ultimately reduces human error.
Flexibility to make the payments is one more advantage of having a BILL and the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for users with little accounting experience. The platform’s automation also reduces the risk of late payments or missing invoices, improving cash flow management.
It is easy to integrate/implement with Intacct as well.
Customer support is also very good and they respond early with an accurate solution.
As a daily user, I can say Bill.com is the best tool to manage the AP process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer is good but the waiting time to have a chat with them can be reduced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BILL is a user-friendly application and easy to-understand the process.
It serves as a good payment platform for vendor payments, allowing users to access details for active and inactive vendors anytime easily.
Also, will get a quick solution from the BILL support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BILL is introducing many new features which is affecting to delay in vendor payments. Also now vendors are not getting connected to E-payment since they are using the same email ID for multiple network IDs. Before BILL was very good for vendor payments and there are no issues on the Connections.
Please get it standardise to avaoid a delay in Payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BILL's Accounts Payable (AP) features are advantageous to me. Setting up recurring invoices is also a significant time saver since it ensures that monthly payments are handled automatically and without effort. One of my favorite features is the AI-powered tool for easily copying information directly from papers while processing bills. This has made data entry considerably faster and more accurate, lowering errors and saving time. Overall, BILL has tremendously simplified our AP process and I am satisfied with BILL as I use it daily. The BILL support is also very helpful. They listen to our concerns and are quick to assist in resolving any issues, making the overall experience much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Bill.com offers great features, there are a few downsides. The reporting tools are limited and lack customization for more detailed analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bill.com is very user-friendly and it is glitch-free, it is cost-effective and it was too easy to implement into our organization. The customer care and support the bill.com provides are great. The integration of bill.com into our organization was smooth and functional. In our organization, we use bill.com on a daily basis to process invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Downloading reports from bill.com is a very tedious process. There are many sycnc errors while syncing with other software like Sage Intact etc.., Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bill.com suggests the proper General Ledger for a bill by referring to the previous bills. It automatically picks the date, invoice number, and amount from the bill we are processing.
It helps in managing the vendors and the customers easily, by extracting the AP and AR aging summary reports. It is easy to fix a problem on bill.com by approaching the customer support team, just by entering the details of the problem that we are facing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, the description or other details cannot be copied from the bill we are processing on bill.com, which is time-consuming, as we need to enter the details manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bill.com is a bit slow. Sometimes we have to process some invoices manual. In some times it will not auto capture the invoice where we should do it manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many things but the easy integration with other accounting software is one of the most appreciative feature of Bill. The software is very much user-friendly and any issues get resolved quickly. I frequently download and verify the bills which are added in the software. The implementation of the software in the clients for AP/AR related transactions is also very smooth and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documents which are attached to Bill are not easily downloadable. I would like it to have an option to download the Bills related to a vendor in Bulk rather than one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Bill mainly for AP. It does it job tremendously well... I have integrated Bill with Web UI and it does it job, especially user interface is good, the process from start to end bill process is good and even a person who is not an accountant can also process bills easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
there's nothing there to dislike about Bill. the only thing I dislike is it's pricing. yes as a human we feel very costly when compared to other software but sometimes it feels like it's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the most of the Bill is processing the bills, I get a large volume of Bills to process per day, during in my previous software I used to process day and night and now it is reduced with the help of Bill. Thanks for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike is it's pricing and a little bit of UI, user interface. except that nothing to dislike about the BILL as it is doing it's job perfectly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
