It is a clean and easy system to use. As someone who doesn't have an extensive finance background it was easy to implement with our team & has a variety of features that make it a great system for our organization.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Honestly, don't have much I dislike about it. It has really helped our finance department run smooth.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-step approval is needed for our organization and BILL makes it super easy for us to do that. Our team submits bills with ease & reduces the number of processing errors.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

I like being able to pay vendors and contractors in USD, including internationally, and I also appreciate how easily Bill.com integrates with accounting software.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I dislike the help and support options in Bill.com. Most of the time, I’m left to figure things out on my own by digging through FAQ pages or submitting a Zendesk request, which often takes ages just to get a response.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me keep all of my vendors’ bank data, details, and W-9s in one place, while also allowing vendors to manage and update their own information.

Bill does a great job learning the coding for vendors, which helps ensure details are quick to enter and consistent every time. The ability to customize settings on a per-vendor basis is especially helpful. Between that and the synchronization with our ERP, we save a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

It would be very helpful if we could set 2-way and 3-way match requirements on a vendor-specific basis.

Timely and accurate recording of transactions helps minimize our close time and gives us real-time access to data when we need it.

I like how BILL AP/AR keeps everything organized and streamlines the accounts payable process. I appreciate the ability to send the link directly to the vendor to set up their profile and pay. I enjoy being able to set approval limits and assign people to be the approvers. It's also great that it's integrated into our GL system. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I feel like the user interface could be better. Sometimes I have to click multiple times just to see something, which can be frustrating. Maybe it's just me, but having shortcut buttons might help.

BILL AP/AR keeps everything organized and streamlines the AP process. I can send a link to vendors to set up their profiles, and I like setting approval limits and assigning approvers.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

Easy to use.  Works well for our employees to code and send their invoices in for processing.  Easy to look up invoices.  We use it for several companies and have no plans on changing to a different vendor.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Not very easy to print reports; when they do updates, sometimes extra steps are added,, which makes things slower.  The software is easy to use, but I would like better training after completing updates.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves lot's of time entering invoices.  Very easy to pay bills from anywhere.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

Bill AP allows us to manage payments to hundreds of vendors and eliminate the paper trail of bills, payments, etc. We are much more efficient in doing weekly payables processing and with the Quickbooks integration, we can integrate back to accounting without any issues. Also, we don't have to retain any vendor information on bank accounts so we have a more cybersecure environment with less risk.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

The biggest downside is the cost for payment processing. It adds up when you're paying over a hundred thousand $$$ monthly to vendors. Therefore, we do find ourselves paying outside the ACH transfers within Bill to reduce the overall cost of their service.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More efficient vendor bill payments and no need to ever send checks for payment processing.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

The sales rep I worked with initially was very friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Everything else. The UI feels outdated and clunky, the QuickBooks integration is unreliable, customer service is basically non-existent, and the business overall lacks transparency. After about 30 days of use, our account was flagged and cancelled without notice. They gave no context for the cancellation and only told us to file an appeal. The strange part was that they didn’t provide any information about what we were supposedly appealing, so it was a total guess. After we appealed, they said our account wouldn’t be reinstated, with still no visibility into why it was cancelled. We’ve used Stripe for over 2 years and QuickBooks Invoicing for about three with no issues, and we were planning to use Bill.com as our main AP/AR system.

To make matters worse, they wouldn’t share who we had open invoices with unless we paid them for the data and then waited up to two weeks. We ended up spending hours manually searching for previously sent invoices just to make sure they were resent through a reliable platform. On top of that, we had about $3,000 in paid invoices that had been charged to our customers but not yet disbursed. Our customers still have not received those funds. When we asked Bill.com about it, they encouraged us to have the customer reach out. When the customer did, Bill said they had disbursed the funds to us (they had not) and advised our customer to file a chargeback. Now, almost a month after the cancellation, our customers still haven’t received their funds back, and we’ve been given the runaround by the Bill.com team. Overall, it’s been a frustrating experience, and I would strongly discourage using this platform.

At this point, none. It created more issues than anything else.

It’s easy to set up a vendor account. Vendors also receive updates regarding payments, and the integration with Xero is helpful.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I wish there were a way to separate the two-way connection between AP and AR. I’ve noticed that every time we edit a bill in Xero for payments processed outside of Bill.com, a new bill gets created in Bill.com.

Payments in multiple currencies are straightforward, and there’s an option to save on fees. Integration with Xero is a breeze, and it saves me time when recording expenses.

I really like that BILL AP/AR is a centralized source of truth. It's easy for me to process invoices because everything's there and I can see due dates. It reads, verifies, and codes invoices correctly and can map them to QuickBooks. It also helps me a lot with purchase order management. The initial setup was very user-friendly and easy.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I find the search feature in BILL AP/AR horrendous. If it's not an exact match, it doesn't show up. I would love for that to improve.

I use BILL AP/AR for purchase order management and invoice payment. It makes processing invoices easy, showing due dates, verifying, and coding them correctly, and mapping to QuickBooks. It's a centralized source of truth, helpful for audits.

I like that with BILL AP/AR, I don't need to keep vendor payment information because the vendors are responsible for updating their own payment instructions. The ease of use and cloud-based architecture make it easy to deploy. The initial setup was very easy.

I love that BILL AP/AR auto-fills bills from our vendors and then syncs them seamlessly over to our ERP. This feature is particularly helpful because users don't have to commit general ledger accounts for specific vendors to memory, which cuts down on errors. The ease of transaction entry also streamlines our accounts payable process by creating approval workflows. Additionally, the initial setup of BILL AP/AR was very easy and should be one of its selling points.

When there is the occasional sync error, most times we have to contact customer support. This takes time.

I like that BILL AP/AR provides an AI assist with creating invoices when they are loaded to our system. The email feature that allows outside vendors to send invoices directly is great. The interface is really easy to use, and it's excellent for multi-company use. The platform helps with time management, organization, and keeping more accurate records. The initial setup was very easy.

The AI system could use some improving as it is not always accurate. The biggest issue is it does not always pull in the information accurately.

I really like the simplicity of the program and ease of processing invoices. the whole process is very transparent.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

not since set up. Once it's ready to go, the process is very smooth.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BILL.com is solving the issue of invoice management and keeping track of what is due and what has been paid. It is also nice to not have to both my clients with questions as to what this payment was for or why the payment was a certain amount when they combine invoices. Bill.com tracks all of that for me.

Be aware that if you use Bill for your vendors, if you have a vendor who uses it as well, it can cause some confusion

Bill Dot Com is very easy to use, and whenever there is a problem the customer service team does a wonderful job. They do not rest until your problem is solved. Highly recommended, you can feel at ease using this product.

I like that BILL AP/AR makes it easy to pay bills and appreciate how fast we can make payments via ACH, much quicker than physical checks. I also like that it flags duplicate invoices, helping us to avoid double paying.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Sometimes payments get held up for additional screening, which is problematic, especially with repeat vendors. Also, it's very hard to get ahold of somebody in customer service. They should have a phone number where a live agent answers immediately.

I use BILL AP/AR to pay bills via ACH, which speeds up payments compared to checks. It's easy to use and prevents double payments by flagging duplicate invoices. However, payments for repeat vendors sometimes get held up for additional screening.

I really like that BILL AP/AR is simple and easy to use. It cuts down on the time it takes to pay invoices, especially once vendors are loaded in. Also, having both AP and AR in the same module is very convenient.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

When I have an issue, it's hard to get in touch with customer service. You have to go through too many prompts, and when the vendor have issues with getting payments because of banking information or whatever, it's hard for them to get in touch with someone.

I find BILL AP/AR convenient with AP and AR in the same module. It's simple, easy to use, and cuts down on time when paying invoices once vendors are loaded.

I like the ease of use and tracking that BILL AP/AR offers. It makes necessary weekly and daily tasks as light of a lift as possible. It's a centralized hub for our AR and AP team to review bills, which streamlines our processes effectively.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I would love to be able to view deleted messages or processed/closed inbox messages. Possibly this is already a feature, but if it is, I cannot figure out how to access it.

I use BILL AP/AR for processing contractor payments and invoices. It acts as a centralized hub for our AR and AP team to review bills. It provides ease of use and tracking, making our weekly and daily tasks as light of a lift as possible.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

BIll.com is a steam less tool for AP processing including invoice receipts, approval routing and payments.  Bill.com is innovative and no upfront training needed.  Customer service is responsive.  We no longer need a full time AP clerk.  Syncs with most ERPs and manages the paperless cloud based environment with ease.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I do not use the AR tool but I see no downsides to the AP function.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bill.com reduced our cost of an additional employee to manage AP.  All documents are stored in Bill.com.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

I find BILL AP/AR to be a very useful gateway for any payments, such as paying fees for exams or any government fees or charges. It's a very useful and easy way to make payments. I appreciate that there are no problems faced while making payments through this gateway. I have paid lots of bills through it, and it reduces errors and ensures easy payments with strong security. The setup is fast and intuitive, and everyone learned about BILL AP/AR within two weeks.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

It can be slow payments not each time but something not work well that is slow approval as compare. I think they have to work on standardization as well and upgrade electronic payments.

I use BILL AP/AR for payments like exam fees and government charges. It provides an easy payment method, reduces errors, and offers strong security. I haven't faced any problems using it.

Pretty straight forward when processing bills and submitting for payment, especially when using the upload bulk bill function when having a list of payments to be submit at a time.

The recording date in the GL. I've raised this issue several times. In accounting, the recording date is the date you create the transaction, not the invoice date. Let's say I receive an invoice today 02.20.26 but the invoice's date is 01.15.26, the transaction date should be 02.20.26, because it is when you created the invoice, if your accounting books are closed the transaction will not sync.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

The seamless integrations with our ERP system have streamlined our accounting processes significantly. The OCR technology for bill input has also been a game-changer, automating a previously time-consuming task and reducing errors.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Getting ahold of someone when there’s an issue can be difficult, and Bill also automatically changes payment types for vendors. We would prefer the payment type to stay exactly as we entered it.

The BILL AP/AR software streamlines the invoice input process, making it significantly easier to integrate data directly into our ERP system. This efficiency reduces manual errors and saves considerable time for our accounting team.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

I love using BILL AP/AR because it helps me cut back on admin expenses and man hours. It's great for saving lots of time and running more efficiently, especially for handling mundane tasks. I really appreciate its ease of use and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I haven't used the AR part because of the fees. For AP, I would like Bill.com to stop defaulting electronic payment methods for vendors to pay by virtual card. The initial setup was a bit tedious.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BILL AP/AR to cut back on admin expenses, save time, improve efficiency, and reduce the need for a position I’d otherwise need to pay for.
