What do you like best about Basis?

What do you dislike about Basis?

What problems is Basis solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're solving a lot of client issues around top of the funnel brand awareness and audience building. Many of our clients have a very niche audience so the targeting capabilities inside of Basis really let us provide excellent results fueling their lower funnel tactics. What do you like best about Basis?

Reporting takes longer than I'd like to turn around custom reports but I still like the fact that the reports can be pulled. It would be nice if reporting could link out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were able to bring our programmatic media buying in-house. With this comes the ability to test and optimize to ensure best performance metrics for our clients and ad campaigns. What do you like best about Basis?

I love the ability to bring in data from social and Google Ads to compare against media campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basis?

I would love to be able to compare messaging across channels, so I dislike that I can't see ad copy from social media ads and Google Ads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Basis solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving the manual need to blend data to find trends and themes across campaigns. I've realized that Basis is the perfect solution to this problem once we have a recurring report set up. What do you like best about Basis?

As a digital consultancy with national clients, and a strong client service focus ourselves, we have found the plaform itself easy for programmatic traders to use. Selection of 3rd party data providers and the ability to group data and locations into "sets" makes cloning campaigns very easy. The team at Basis is always open and willing to work on ideas to solve the challenges we have with clients or with the platform. Like any other DSP, it requires a team to manage your business. Consider the resources you have available internally and either look to their managed service team, or ask for a preferred partner agency that can help ensure you have experts looking at your campaign. What do you like best about Basis?

The hands-on support from the Centro/Basis staff has been outstanding. They are very helpful and respond quickly to issues/questions that I am having. Very clear in regards to explaining how the platform works. Also very transparent about what is being changed within Basis and why. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basis?

The downsides of Basis come with reporting and pulling numbers. Sometimes the numbers do not pull accurately. This was one of the main reasons we chose the platform. Also, I find it to be difficult to examine the performance of the campaigns quickly and easily. For example, some of our campaigns were turned offline when we thought they were online. The main problem that we planned to solve was reporting and pulling numbers. This has proven to be an issue for us. Many of the campaigns do not pull accurately. We are using this platform mainly to provide Display ads for our clients. What do you like best about Basis?

Basis DSP is easy to navigate and its efficient functionality makes training the team on the platform simple. Centro's product and innovation team does an excellent job at staying on the front-end of the industry and attaining valuable feedback from their clients, then deploying those learnings/features into the platform in a timely manner. The CSM support team is very, very good. Our agency votes Centro/Basis support as the best customer service we receive from any platform we currently, or have ever, used. What do you dislike about Basis?

There have been some great improvements to bulk editing features in the campaign setup/editor. However we would love to see a bulk edit for audience segment removal inside of a campaign(tactic), not just adding/adjusting advanced targeting and a bulk edit for exchange settings across all tactics inside of a group. Also, tactic templates (which I heard were on the way) are crucial to our process/team in particular. It would be nice to be able to save campaign templates at the account level, that way, they could be deployed across brands/advertisers. Our digital department is a separate entity from the account/sales side; we work primarily in Basis standalone DSP, not Platform. We use Basis for buying/optimizing, not strategy/forecasting, so minimal line items and navigation to adjust settings are important to us. As our business grows and evolves, adoption of Platform is more likely. We would also love to hear more about advancements in new ad formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Speaking as a self-serve client, our media agency supports that Basis fits our needs quite well. Working with the Centro team has been a pleasure.
