As a digital consultancy with national clients, and a strong client service focus ourselves, we have found the plaform itself easy for programmatic traders to use. Selection of 3rd party data providers and the ability to group data and locations into "sets" makes cloning campaigns very easy. The team at Basis is always open and willing to work on ideas to solve the challenges we have with clients or with the platform. The hands-on support from the Centro/Basis staff has been outstanding. They are very helpful and respond quickly to issues/questions that I am having. The downsides of Basis come with reporting and pulling numbers. Sometimes the numbers do not pull accurately. This was one of the main reasons we chose the platform. Also, I find it to be difficult to examine the performance of the campaigns quickly and easily. For example, some of our campaigns were turned offline when we thought they were online. Basis DSP is easy to navigate and its efficient functionality makes training the team on the platform simple. Centro's product and innovation team does an excellent job at staying on the front-end of the industry and attaining valuable feedback from their clients, then deploying those learnings/features into the platform in a timely manner. The CSM support team is very, very good. Our agency votes Centro/Basis support as the best customer service we receive from any platform we currently, or have ever, used. There have been some great improvements to bulk editing features in the campaign setup/editor. However we would love to see a bulk edit for audience segment removal inside of a campaign(tactic), not just adding/adjusting advanced targeting and a bulk edit for exchange settings across all tactics inside of a group. Also, tactic templates (which I heard were on the way) are crucial to our process/team in particular. It would be nice to be able to save campaign templates at the account level, that way, they could be deployed across brands/advertisers. Our digital department is a separate entity from the account/sales side; we work primarily in Basis standalone DSP, not Platform. We use Basis for buying/optimizing, not strategy/forecasting, so minimal line items and navigation to adjust settings are important to us. As our business grows and evolves, adoption of Platform is more likely. We would also love to hear more about advancements in new ad formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
