The easiest way to create to-dos and bookmarks, asign people to the work and upload documents in the text box, its very helpfull to find information in short time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The paid version Its very expensive, maybe if you create a basic plan for small business, more people could use basecamp at work. It's a good way to work. Just that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Basecamp does a great job making it easy for others to complete tasks and network. It significantly cuts down on meeting time and creates transparancy where silo's often exist in a manufacturing and production environment. Implementation is simple and straight forward. Customer support has always been great. We use the software on a daily basis for items that would normally have been done with pen and paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are few downsides to Basecamp.
If a person forgets to assign the next to-do, projects can remain open as there is no way to see if a project is not assigned to anyone.
It would be helpful if there was a language option to easily convert between English and Spanish for employees that are better suited for reading and writing in Spanish as opposed to English.
Older verisions of Basecamp you could assign persons to tasks in templates. This feature is missed and it would be great if it could be brought back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basecamp came as a solution that I didn’t know we needed until we implemented it. The first thing that caught my eye was its design: clean, visual, and very easy to understand. The whiteboards are great; it allowed us to organize everything at a glance, and we were able to customize them as we wanted. Automation takes things to a new level: tasks that once took hours to complete now resolve themselves. And I can’t help but mention how it integrates with Slack and other utility tools. That made my team better connected and work more closely. It serves as more than just a project tool; it's akin to having a proactive assistant at your disposal, requiring no expertise to operate. Although it has been great and error-free, when we work on very large projects with many real-time updates, sometimes you notice that the platform slows down a bit. It hasn't slowed us down, but optimizing it for those cases would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that every tool I use is all in once place. I love having our information centralized and easy to find. I love that I can search for whatever I'm looking for and it comes up; the search works! Once we signed up, it was so easy to get up-and-running and get everyone on the same page. I use this tool every single day and I don't know how I would continue to do my job without it. It's really centralized all of our information and communication into one easy-to-use and easy-to-search place.
The one time I had to reach out to customer support they responded quickly and answered my questions in a friendly, helpful manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about Basecamp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how user-friendly it is while remaining complex enough to manage my complex workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, I do not like that when I assign one task to multiple team members it gets checked off the moment 1 person clicks that it is done. I am wanting each of our team members to do this task, but don't want to have to copy it separately. I wish there was a way that when someone checks the task off (if multiple people are assigned) it would just put a check by each person's name in which it is assigned. Having a "one stop shop" to be able to store policies, procedures, lists of tasks to finish (to-do's) & also being able to message each other without using multiple systems helps us to be more efficient. Being able to move quickly helps us address our customer & business needs quickly as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that it doesn't have a "duplicate" option. For instance, we make to-do's for certain things we have to do like holiday items. There is a recurrance option which has helped but, sometimes the holidays don't fall on the same day or you want to make the same to-do. Would be very helpful to help duplicate it versus having to make a new one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a social media marketing intern, Basecamp has been an incredibly useful tool for managing tasks, collaborating with my team, and staying organized. The intuitive interface makes it easy to track project progress, share updates, and communicate effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't directly intergrate with social media platforms, making it less effective for scheduling posts or tracking engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Crossfunctional teams, including internal and external stakeholders can collaborate and communicate on a specific project using Basecamp.
It provides focused discussion among the project team members and help track down progress and action items in separate discussion.
Usually when you have a certain projects, you just communicate thru email but if you use Basecamp you can easily get a good grasp of whats happening to a project especially if you have numerous projects all at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Basecamp is that it may not be so popular and familiar with others. So I usually explain a little bit when I add a new member. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Basecamp helped us keep our conference moving forward. We are scattered all over Texas with the base of operations being in north central Texas. Using basecamp allowed me to easily see progress in each individual. The notification feature is great to keep updates in real time. Several individuals who were not used to a collab application were able to integrate easily. It didn't matter if they were mobile on their phone, their tablet, or computer. PC or Apple, Android or iOS, everyone was able to implement the features quickly and learn quickly. I was able to utilize Basecamp daily due to the simplicity of notifications. Very few downsides to Basecamp, imho. The primary downside I saw is that there are two versions. I had downloaded the original version years ago and not had need of it. When our missions conference came up, Basecamp was the preferred application among the collaberators and the new version was out. There was a slight learning curve, but not much at all. What I like best about Basecamp is how seamlessly it helps us manage our remote work process. As a company, it allows us to flawlessly track all of our conversations, planning, tasks, and project progress. It's incredibly functional for task assignment, team communication, and monitoring project developments. Plus, its simple and user-friendly interface allows team members to quickly adapt. All of this facilitates collaboration and boosts our overall efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about Basecamp. So far, it has solved everything seamlessly and has more than met our needs. Additionally, they continue to develop new features, which makes the platform even more useful with each update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
