What do you like best about Apollo.io?

To start, the training(s) are easy to access, easy to understand and explain how things actually work. The product itself is kind of intuitive, so playing around with it too. The contact information you get back is solid--nobodies is perfect, but this is far more accurate than some products I've used! And unlike other products I've used, the free version is actually usuable. It's not just a tease to get you to buy the paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

I took over a new territory for our company. We have almost no information on the companies and people in the marketplace. I use Apollo.io to find target companies, and executives to target for sales outreach. It's been invaluable in finding the names and contact information for my target audience and is allowing me to reach people faster and easier than simialr tools with which I have experience. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo has a huge database of people with very accurate information on their personal linkedin, emails, their work history, about the organizations, and their relevant details. The extraction is also very easy. I just had to type a certain person's name, and there you go - all the details were at my disposal. Also if i need to download details and there are a lot of entries, i can just export the database in a csv file. It is a very easy to use tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The phone numbers are a lot times wrong. They should work on that. Also the ability to enrich the apollo database is something I find very difficult to work with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been using apollo.io for a very long time now and it has been a very useful software to us. We have created a complete database of out ideal customer profiles with apollo where the accuracy is absolutely stunning. Extracting the contacts based on different filters is very easy. We just add relevant filters, select multiple contacts, and add them to the lists. These lists then can be downloaded and used for our internal use cases. We have created not one, but numerous lists based on different use cases. Even the geographies are very distinct. We also have created different dashboard views for our team members. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo has one of the best analytics for email outreach. The reports are very granular and correct to the last point. Apollo workflows are also helpful in setting up automations. The dashboard is very easy to use, even beginners understand the terms and metrics very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

They do not have live support. There is one chatbot but it is very slow and they are testing out their human support which delays a lot of tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been using apollo as the primary outreach tool. The database is huge and is almost complete, but sometimes we do not get phone numbers and email addresses. A lot of email addresses are guessed and are not verified. But the database is extensive. We are also using their meetings added in hyperlink of our emails. Due to apollo, we got almost 20 leads as of now in just 5 months span. A couple of our customers were the results of outreach program carried out through apollo. Besides the results, I would like to talk about ease of use, for example, if i want to add a few contacts to start emailing, i just have to search for their details in the database, and i can directly add them to the sequence and start the email drip. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Within only two months already have driven new business. It slotted into my workflow very easily and was an immediately impactful addition. All of the information is very searchable and actionable. This has been used daily by myself, and team members are eager to use this for their workflows as well. My company appreciates that it implements well with salesforce and other programs, as we look to deploy at scale across the organization it will make this process easier. I wish there was more "similar companies to x" or ways to drive discovery for smaller businesses, as I focus in the non-profit/SMB space it can sometimes be hard Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apollo is helping me discover customers and companies that I otherwise would not be aware of. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The best part about apollo is the access email option. Because I am trying to go into finance this allows me to connect with industry professionals and people that can help me on my journey very easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a lot of options and learning how to use everything and navigating the site was a bit confusing. Even though there was a tutorial everything was a bit overwhelming at the start and if I was not referred might have not signed up because of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apollo is solving the problem of having to guess someone's email to get in contact with them. It automatically gives me the most likely email address for the person's business, and this saves me a lot of time. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo has been useful to us for the email outreach. We identify our ICPs using various filters like Revenue, Job titles, Competition and create lists. These lists are then used in the sequences which can be configured based on our prefrences like sending an automated email after 30 mins of adding the contact to the sequences. What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

There isnt a way where multiple mailboxes can mail people with a different Name. For example, the 5 mailboxes that we have attached to a account have the same first name and last name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have planned our complete email outreach for the company using apollo. We are getting very nice reporting and the reporting is unique and granular for all the emails we send. We using the workflows to create deals based on the activity happening in the email sequences. This has solved our complete sales enablement and outreach program. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo.io has one of the industry's biggest B2B leads databases. That means it's pretty easy to find the email and LinkedIn of your prospect.

You can organize people into lists, and then set up an outreach sequence.

Alongside automated emails, you can add manual/LinkedIn tasks as well. These Tasks act as a good reminder to follow up at the correct times.

We used the custom fields you can add to people/companies to customize and personalize our email outreach.

The integrated tracking/analytics are valuable too for seeing what's working and what's not.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

While there are no massive flaws, some little things can be improved:

1. Apollo's Pro plan only gives you 5 mailboxes; more (or the option to add more) would be better.

2. The UI can sometimes be slow to load and feels bloated/heavy performance-wise; but I know they're working on a redesign so hopefully it'll be fixed.

3. Some actions (e.g. adding lead to a sequence) require too many steps/clicks.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Its like 5 tools we were using in the past all in one and makes the workflow seamless. Its got all the prospecting you could ever ask for, calendar booking, email and outreach cadences, call recording summarizing, puts our notes into our CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its a lot, more hands on training or someone to onboard us and help us get to know all the features, there is just a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Just trying to use all the data and info we an get our hands on while also trying to save our sales team time and automate the time consuming stuff so they can focus on just selling. This has really sped up how they prospect, less time setting reminders or following up when that gets automated, even though we don't use pre-written out templates and write hyper personalized messages everytime its still very helpful for it to queue up those emails for you to write on a schedule. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The two things I find the most helpful about Apollo are

1) It's massive database of contacts that is almost infinitely filter-able to drill down to exactly the type of person you're searching for, and

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The only downside I've identified is just an upside in disguise. The software is so comprehensive, detailed, and customizable that it's a bit daunting. Because of this I put off learning to use it for a while, but that's on me. There's a gold mine of features and capabilities if you're willing to put in the time to learn the program. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The cost is significantly better than ZoomInfo, which we previously had. I really like the more pro-active integration and the ability to see not only has someone from their organization been on our website, but the pages they were on. I also have to say that the on-boarding training classes were excellent. Kate Herget was exceptional. She would tailor the session to our needs. I also loved that she would have us share our screens to navigate to get practical training. She had a tool that would put an arrow next to the area or specific spot she wanted us to go to or click on. It was awesome and time was not wasted trying to find the spot/area not being familiar with the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

I had a couple of contacts on LinkedIn that had changed their role and went to another company. When using the Apollo Chrome extension, it listed their current position still as their previous one, despite LinkedIn showing they have been in their position2-3 months. Apollo should have displayed the new role. I was told that it takes time for Apollo to update. Something like this should not take that long. There should be automatic updates, using AI or simple screen scraper tools. Also the Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is significantly less expensive than Zoominfo. I do like that I can see the buying intent of pages they have looked at on our website. I also like the integration with Salesforce from the Apollo Chrome plug for date on LikedIn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
