What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Apollo's contact information majority of the time is not correct so my emails are always undeliverable. I also find that Apollo is not user friendly, it's really complicated for no reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The integration with HubSpot is particularly useful, allowing for seamless ticket creation when a positive response is received from an outbound sequence. While generally effective, sometimes the contact data can be slightly outdated. Also, ensuring the correct contact stage is set in Apollo (like MQL) for the HubSpot integration to trigger properly requires careful attention. Could be also easier to use at the beginning. Finding Accurate Contact Information: It helps us quickly find and verify email addresses and phone numbers for prospects within our target companies. This overcomes the challenge of manually searching for reliable contact details, which can be time-consuming and inaccurate.

Streamlining Outbound Prospecting: Apollo allows us to build targeted prospect lists and run automated email sequences. This makes our outbound efforts more efficient and scalable.

Integrating with CRM: The platform integrates directly with HubSpot. When a prospect replies positively to an outreach sequence, a ticket is automatically created in HubSpot.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo.io is a good source of a B2B contact list curated from LinkedIn. It has helped to reach out to many potential clients in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The new free plan only offers 185 credits in a month, which has decreased significantly and hinders emailing contacts or viewing their contact number. Therefore, it has resulted in finding other ways of searching for B2B contact databases. If only it could resume the original plan and not make it hard to use, it would be used by many marketers and sales personnel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apollo.io helps to curate the B2B contact database easily and it helps me to find prospects interested in PraesentiaAI, a workforce management app of Systellar Technologies. Moreover, the solution curates database from LinkedIn. Therefore, it is trustworthy, approx 90% of the time. I am working as a marketing, sales, and lead generation head of the company. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

As a new business owner with limited resources, I appreciate that Apollo offers real value even on the free plan. Unlike other platforms, it doesn’t restrict the essential features just to push you into upgrading. It feels like Apollo truly understands how to support businesses in their early stages—building trust that naturally leads to long-term loyalty. It is also very easy to use if you have no prior experience with CRM platforms - the basics, I mean, easy to integrate it into your operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

I found it a bit tricky to navigate the sequences feature at first—especially when I realised my initial email sequence hadn’t gone out due to some AI confusion. Figuring out how to re-send the same emails using the new template was a bit of a mission. At Quizzability, we were looking for an efficient and scalable way to increase our outreach, and we found it at Apollo.io. Its inrecdible database, automation tools, and analytics improved our outreach efforts. It definitely helped us to connect with potential partners more effectively.

What is most helpful about Apollo.io?

We loved the powerful lead database! The incredible amount of valuable contacts allows us to find and target the right people we need to reach out to. The advanced filtering options are great! It’s so easy to refine our searches. For a startup like ours, it is perfect for us. The email sequencing and automation is super simple to use and we were able to streamline our sales efforts.

What are the upsides of using Apollo.io?

We easily integrated it with our emails and our CRM systems. We tested the AI-powered recommendations and combined them with our outreach efforts. The analytics and reporting are the star of the upsides of Apollo.io! We can fine-tune our messages and campaigns, based on real-time statistics. We found this really cool and suseful! 😊

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

It's hard to find anything we didn't like about Apollo.io… Everything is so super easy to use that our experience has been quite, quite positive.

The only one thing we found that could be improved are some minor User Experience details (button placement, for instance), but we believe the team will come across and improve on that! 😊

The platform is intuitive, the tools are efficient, and the automation features save us a lot of time! On top of that, the Apollo.io team has been incredibly helpful! They are quick to answer our messages and book meetings, so, what’s to hate about it?

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

How robust and helpful the tool is even on the free tier. Builds a lot of trust in the brand! I know when I sign up for the $99/mo plan soon, it’ll be worth every penny. I like how easy it is to find leads and employees on the website directly from the chrome extension. Also, how easy it is to extract, validate, and save the contact or email. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The biggest convenience is that I can instantly reach the e-mail address of anyone I want to reach. Creating an automatic sequence also allows me to focus on more events. Also, being able to see the sequence data allows me to observe how I can improve the process. I am using Apollo.io almost daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Page transitions within the site are very slow. For example, there are a few bad data in the sequence and I will fix the contact info of one of the sequences. After fixing it, I see that I am now on the people page and I will go to the bad data page again and the road is very long.

Also, I want to be able to add gender as we can add automatic name and surname in emails. Or I should be able to add mr/mrs as a custom column in Excel. Because I send emails in Turkish and if I don't put mr/mrs in Turkish, it can be perceived as disrespectful. I know Apollo is an English tool but this could be really helpful. What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to easily find the contacts of the people I want to reach. I can also use the Apollo add-on to access the contact information of the people I find on LinkedIn. It allows me to see the data, make quick improvements and move forward. Thanks to the sequences, I can prepare it once and easily deal with my other work, while receiving feedback from the leads. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

As co-founder of Northeastern Advisors, a business brokerage, I’ve been using Apollo.io daily to snag leads and push deals, and it’s solid. It’s easy to use once you get past the initial filter-learning curve, and setup with Gmail was quick—under an hour, though tweaking it for buyer/seller outreach took a bit more. The 275 million contacts, email tools, and LinkedIn integration are killer for finding business owners or investors, even if we skip some extras like AI writing. It syncs smoothly with our stack, despite a few duplicate hiccups, and we rely on it constantly to keep the pipeline moving. Customer support’s decent via email but lags with no live chat, which stings mid-deal. Overall, it’s a cost-effective workhorse for growing a brokerage without drowning in complexity. Since the day one when i came to the sales field, I struggled to connect with right person and decision maker. but after using Apollo it's make my journey easy to connect with the right person. The training was also great – everyone got involved, found it really useful, and it ensured we're making the most of everything the platform has to offer. Unlike other platforms, it offers so many powerful features – built-in email verification, smart email outreach that avoids spam filters, lookalike data, sales funnels, automations, and more.
