What do you like best about Apollo.io?

We get extremely accurate information from Apollo.io, and the integration with Salesforce is excellent, allowing us to access contact data consistently across all platforms. The sales process is streamlined by using the email tracking and sequencing features to enable automated follow-up, and the simplicity of the application allows me to quickly establish contacts and get very accurate phone numbers. What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have implemented Apollo.io in our company and it makes our job easier by giving us access to additional information about prospects that we would otherwise have to spend a lot of time searching for. It has helped us stay on top of hiring initiatives, increased the effectiveness of our prospecting, and reduced the amount of human work required to find leads. The result is increased engagement and an overall improvement in sales. In addition to being a prospecting and lead enrichment tool, it also updates and enhances the data we currently have in Salesforce on a monthly basis. The platform allows us to filter by department, title level, name, and job title. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

How robust and helpful the tool is even on the free tier. Builds a lot of trust in the brand! I know when I sign up for the $99/mo plan soon, it’ll be worth every penny. I like how easy it is to find leads and employees on the website directly from the chrome extension. Also, how easy it is to extract, validate, and save the contact or email. What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Generate leads, finding the emails for the cold leads I want reach out to as well as social profiles. Verifying those emails so I don’t end up in spam or have a bad rep with Google. Also insight into tech stack / tools a company is using Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The biggest convenience is that I can instantly reach the e-mail address of anyone I want to reach. Creating an automatic sequence also allows me to focus on more events. Also, being able to see the sequence data allows me to observe how I can improve the process. I am using Apollo.io almost daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Page transitions within the site are very slow. For example, there are a few bad data in the sequence and I will fix the contact info of one of the sequences. After fixing it, I see that I am now on the people page and I will go to the bad data page again and the road is very long.

Also, I want to be able to add gender as we can add automatic name and surname in emails. Or I should be able to add mr/mrs as a custom column in Excel. Because I send emails in Turkish and if I don't put mr/mrs in Turkish, it can be perceived as disrespectful. I know Apollo is an English tool but this could be really helpful. What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to easily find the contacts of the people I want to reach. I can also use the Apollo add-on to access the contact information of the people I find on LinkedIn. It allows me to see the data, make quick improvements and move forward. Thanks to the sequences, I can prepare it once and easily deal with my other work, while receiving feedback from the leads. Since the day one when i came to the sales field, I struggled to connect with right person and decision maker. but after using Apollo it's make my journey easy to connect with the right person. Apollo solving my big problem that is reaching the right person o the company as purchasers email address and contact number. so that I directly connect with them.

Sometime it's just difficult to find the email ID of the purchaser but from the day 1 when I used Apollo.io it's help me a lot to find the correct email ID with contact number of the purchaser along with headquarter number also.I feel as a rockstar of Sales. Apollo AI is the best data capture tool we've used. The training was also great – everyone got involved, found it really useful, and it ensured we're making the most of everything the platform has to offer. Unlike other platforms, it offers so many powerful features – built-in email verification, smart email outreach that avoids spam filters, lookalike data, sales funnels, automations, and more. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo is very simple yet robust tool for email outreach as well as leads management. It has got numerous features like extensive people and company database and also data enrichment. We also use its meeting scheduler to let the target audience book meeting slots on the calendar. We have also created some automated processes using their tasks and workflows. Apollo's google chrome extension is very useful. I just simply go to a linkedin account, click on the extension and there you go, we get the phone number and email id instantly. For the email drips, this how we started: We began by creating a comprehensive ICP database using Apollo, which offered extensive metrics on both companies and individuals. Applying filters such as job titles and management levels significantly enhanced the quality of our target audience, while grouping these potential leads into lists based on location and industry made it effortless to develop targeted sequences. Setting up these sequences in Apollo was straightforward, and leveraging Apollo’s AI-driven email-writing capabilities produced impressive deliverability and open rates.

In addition, Apollo’s analytics were exceptionally detailed, providing accurate open and reply rates at both a broad and sequence-specific level. The built-in A/B testing enabled us to identify the most effective emails, allowing us to refine our content in subsequent sequences. Moreover, the option to download performance reports facilitated more granular analyses, making every aspect of the email drip campaign efficient and easy to control. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo has been quite helpful in the email outreach. The best part is there is very less human intervention required. The sequences are completely automatic. After the configuration is done and content is added, its all just cake walk. I can select the time zone of the country we have to send emails to, and it all takes care of shooting mails in their business hours. We can even customize the working hours. Besides the email outreach, we have also integrated apollo with Pipedrive, which completes out sales CRM process and lead management system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

I do not get updates on completion of certain events. For example, we would like to get notification if some user opens my email more than 3 times. With the help of Apollo, we have created our complete ICP database. We get a lot of metrics related to the companies as well as people. This database was then used to shortlist the most relevant people. The filters like Job titles and Management level improved our target audience quality drastically. Then these people were added to a certain list and based on the geography, and industries, we created sequences with the specific content. Creating sequences was very easy in apollo. We used AI features of apollo to write personalized emails which had the highest deliverability rates and open rates. The analytics of apollo are also mind-blowing. The open rates and reply rates are very accurate and at a very granular level. I can also download these and make my separate reports. The analytics are available on a overall level and also on sequence level. They also provide A/B testing for emails in the same sequences, which helped us know which all emails were working and iterate the better working content in the next sequences . What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Email Outreach is super easy with Apollo. We have created multiple sequences based on different geographies and added lists to it which we had created using the People section in apollo. The emails sequences were automated and AI generated, which helped us curate content based on the user's demographics.

Apollo has a huge database of people with very accurate information on their personal linkedin, emails, their work history, about the organizations, and their relevant details. The extraction is also very easy. I just had to type a certain person's name, and there you go - all the details were at my disposal. Also if i need to download details and there are a lot of entries, i can just export the database in a csv file. It is a very easy to use tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The phone numbers are a lot times wrong. They should work on that. Also the ability to enrich the apollo database is something I find very difficult to work with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been using apollo.io for a very long time now and it has been a very useful software to us. We have created a complete database of out ideal customer profiles with apollo where the accuracy is absolutely stunning. Extracting the contacts based on different filters is very easy. We just add relevant filters, select multiple contacts, and add them to the lists. These lists then can be downloaded and used for our internal use cases. We have created not one, but numerous lists based on different use cases. Even the geographies are very distinct. We also have created different dashboard views for our team members.

As far as the email outreach is concerned, the workflows and sequences were used to send out emails based on user demographics. A lot of variables like first name, company name, company size was used to make the email more personalised. The analytics were also very healthy. We also joined multiple email mailboxes as we needed a lot of emails to be sent out in a short span. The email mailbox settings like frequency capping, number of emails per hour and email signature were used. These features are very subtle but extremely helpful.
