It's very helpful in taking the footnotes of a customer which makes easier for a digital marketer to plan strategy accordingly and minimize the marketing cost.

Sometimes it's seems to be not giving the real results and pretending to show results by it's own. If there's any miss foots of customers which aren't captured then results should be according to the footnotes neither by assumptions.

**What do you like best about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

We have build an automated journey for on boarding new B2B clients using Adobe Journey Optimizer. This project aimed to simplify a process that was previously handled manually through bulk emails. With Adobe Journey Optimizer, we created event driven journeys that kicked off when a client account is created or a shipment is booked. The feature that stood out for me is its seamless integration with our internal system via Adobe experience platform. I also liked its ability to build a separate journey for each type of customer like retail, automotive, pharma, and applied different SLAs and communication frequencies.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

One challenge was around testing and version control. With so many conditional paths, it was difficult to simulate every possible flow before going live.

Adobe Journey Optimizer excels at orchestrating multi-channel campaigns with real-time customer interaction. I particularly liked the behavioral targeting, automated journey triggers, and the integration with Adobe Experience Platform. The ability to personalize journeys based on real-time events across web, mobile, and email helped us significantly improve engagement metrics.

The most helpful aspect of Adobe Optimizer it's variety ways of combining company sophistication along with Project needs that can happen at any turn during the process of work. The optimization of the software allows for A/B testing and document conversation  in a seamless process.

Adobe Journey Optimizer does an excellent job of connecting data, creativity, and efficiency across our communication campaigns. The built-in templates for emails and journeys save design time and help us keep messaging consistent. Its real-time data integration is especially powerful—it lets us create personalized experiences based on user interaction all from one platform that covers web, email, and mobile channels.

Since it’s built around automation, the interface and logic took some time to get used to. It wasn’t instantly intuitive but the documentation provided was genuinely helpful and got me upto speed.

We integrated Adobe Journey Optimizer into our customer facing logistics portal to manage real time delivery updates, exception alerts and delivery feedback collection. Before Adobe Journey Optimizer, we used multiple tools to notify customers at different stages of delivery. This results in message delays, inconsistent branding and limited feedback from customer. But now we have built a centralised journey that respond to shipment status events in real time. Key feature that stood out for me was it’s visual journey builder that allowed our Ops and CX teams to collaborate and manage rules without relying on developer for every update. Adobe’s customer support was specially helpful in setting up webhook based integration with our transport management system.

While Adobe Journey Optimizer is an excellent choice for customer facing messaging, but it lacks in templates or native connectors for certain logistic tools. So we have to create custom APIs to feed in milestone updates from our internal systems.

It has streamlined the customer communication pipeline in a very complex and time sensitive logistics environment. Earlier, our customer support team handled most of the communication, but now most updates are triggered automatically in real time. Additionally, it has reduced manual intervention by 40% and freed up our call centre team to focus on escalations.

Our team implemented Adobe Journey Optimiser to improve our post purchase engagement flow across regions. The goal was to reduce return rate and improve customer retention. Previously, we used different tools for post order communication like emails come from one tool, mobile notification from another and there was no centralised tracking. Adobe Journey Optimiser allowed us to build a unified journey that started the moment the user placed an order. What I loved most was the dynamic content and real time behaviour segmentation. We also created micro segments based on product category and delivery status. Also, the visual flow editor in journey optimiser is extremely user-friendly. Even non-technical marketing team members could adapt campaigns in real time.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

One of the early frustration we faced was around data latency and sync issues between our warehouse systems and Adobe Experience Platform. For example, delivery updates, sometime came in with a delay which affected timing in the journey. Still, this issue is manageable and Journey Optimiser ultimately helped us build rich engagement across our user base.

The performance analytics within the platform allowed us to see drop off points in each journey node, which enabled rapid experimentation and optimisation. AJO shines at real-time, cross-channel orchestration. The visual Journey canvas makes it easy to map email/SMS/push/in-app steps with time windows and conditional branches. Segmentation from Adobe Experience Platform gives us granular audiences (behavior + profile + consent) without exporting lists. I also appreciate the built-in offer/decisioning and guardrails so customers don’t get over-messaged. Once data is flowing, it’s reliable and scales.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

Onboarding is not trivial. Getting data into AEP, identity stitching, and governance rules required significant implementation work and coordination with engineering. The UI can feel heavy, and reporting/attribution takes time to configure the way marketers want. Documentation is comprehensive but scattered, and support SLAs could be faster for “how-to” questions. Budget-wise, it’s an enterprise tool—be sure you’ll use the breadth of features.

1. Real-time personalization: One of the most powerful aspects of AJO is its ability to orchestrate personalized journeys based on real-time user behavior. Literally, you can trigger a journey as soon as a user clicks on an email, enters a store, or abandons a cart.

2. Deep integration with the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ecosystem: If you already use Adobe Experience Cloud, AJO shines because it directly feeds off the unified customer profile data. This allows for a real and usable 360° view to trigger hyper-contextual messages.

3. True multichannel capability (not just emails): You can trigger journeys via email, push, SMS, app, web, and more, all from one place. The ease with which it connects channels was key for us.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

1. Learning curve:
AJO is not plug-and-play. It requires a good knowledge base, especially if you are not coming from the Adobe ecosystem. Setting up schemas, datasets, and the correct use of segmentations can take time.

2. Dependency on AEP:
Although AJO can function more independently, the true power is unlocked only if you have Adobe Experience Platform. This means that for many smaller or medium-sized businesses, the investment is not always justifiable.

3. Not so intuitive interface:
Despite Adobe's efforts to improve usability, it still feels technical and unfriendly if I compare it with interfaces like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.

I like the ability to create personalized, real-time costumer journeys across channels. This is so efficient for me and the integration with Adobe Experience Platform is also seamless.

**What do you like best about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

We used Adobe Journey Optimizer to help our retail client launch a seasonal cross channel promotion targeting both email and mobile app users. One thing that stood out was how seamlessly it integrated with Adobe Experience Platform. We were able to pull real time customer profiles and set triggers for different kinds of events like product views. It's drag and drop interface for journey creation was also very user friendly and it can even be used by our junior team members with less technical background. Additionally, setting conditions and actions across different channels felt natural too.

Once everything was up and running, I really started to appreciate how much Adobe Customer Journey Analytics can do. There are a ton of features, way more than we actually expected — and it’s great to have that level of flexibility. 
We use it pretty regularly now, especially for tracking user behavior and setting up alerts for certain actions or drop-offs. The interface isn’t super simple at first, but once you’ve used it a few times, it becomes much easier to navigate. I also liked that it worked well with the rest of our Adobe tools, integrating with other systems was pretty smooth. And when we had questions, Adobe’s support team was actually helpful, which isn’t always the case with big platforms.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

Getting started was probably the hardest part. Setting it up took longer than we expected, and we definitely needed help from our technical team to get everything connected and working right. It’s not the kind of tool you can just log into and figure out on your own in a day, there’s a learning curve, especially with how much it offers. Because there are so many features, it felt a bit overwhelming at first. 
I wish the onboarding had been more guided or that there were more ready-to-use templates. That would’ve made the whole experience a lot easier. 
We also didn’t use it daily at the beginning, just because it felt like too much effort to dig through everything. But over time, it’s gotten better as we’ve learned how to use it more efficiently.

Understanding how clients are interacting with gives valuable insight of what I can do or change to make what I do more appealing to clients. The most helpful part about Adobe Journey Optimizer are the features like; Its easy to use when creating emails to send messages that feel personal based on your customer's behaviors. You can also easily implement sms/mms texting to increase customer engagement w personalized sms, including push notifications to always keep them updated. You can easily integrate your web and landing pages and easily implement user subscriptions to increase your customer's frequency of use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

The disadvantages of the Journey Optimizer is the cost because I wish I knew upfront the different pricing tiers that are available and I had to reach out to customer support and find out the differences listed and the features vary from the select, prime and Ultimate Tier Packages. If you're going to need AI/ML and use libraries frequently this is where the computing power is really harnessed.

**What problems is Adobe Journey Optimizer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can increase my market efficiency by designing from one platform all my communication, reaching out to all my customers and gaining real time insights about customer consumer data behaviors that help me adapt and pivot to where my business and customers need most. Marketing and growing a brand can be difficult and an efficient tool like Adobe Journey Optimizer is a great asset!

**What do you like best about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

The UI is very easy to navigate. Journey building is very intuitive and doesn't require an advanced technical user to do. Building emails and landing pages are simple and do not require a coder/designer to create. Custom actions make it easy to integrate AJO with a wide variety of other platforms/datasets. Pre-built use case playbooks offer a good starting point for creating almost any type of journey without having to build them from scratch every time.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Journey Optimizer?**

It is only as strong as it's AEP foundation, so if there is not enough/accurate/complete data stemming from AEP then marketers are at a disadvantage. There is no form functionality which hopefully will be on Adobe's roadmap.

**What problems is Adobe Journey Optimizer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows the entire Adobe suite to be built upon the AEP foundation, which makes a full MarTech stack able to work together very seamlessly.

As mentioned, integration is easy only if you are already utilizing Adobe package. Outside of that, there's complexity to integrate other data sources to AJO.
Adoption across the organization is also a disadvantage majorly because journeys cannot be built to satisfy business objectives of all product lines.

Content creation was a major problem because each visual had to be tweaked according to the channel. This was solved by AJO. Also, journeys were more focused on mass marketing for product specific campaigns whereas AJO helps in personalizing client specific journeys.

The platform isn't just reactive like some others in the space. It's also anticipatory and delivers tailored messaging, through the right medium (text, email, etc) with exceptional timing. This is particularly helpful if you're juggling various touchpoints along the customer journeys for a broad audience. Bringing a personalized CX to audiences at scale was made much easier by using AJO.

For SMB applications, it's a bit overkill. At the price point, it may not be the most reasonable for SMB/MM use cases. The real benefit of the platform is scale, and in those situations, that benefit doesn't really apply.
