Addigy's library of publicly available installers could use more depth and prior to the new update feature updating was a pain in the rear.

  ### 8. MDM Solution that could be better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addidy MDM solution provides a simple and efficient approach to managing Apple/Mac/OS environment in an enterprise environment. Addidy is a robust solution that professionals and beginners can use. The learning curve is very manageable.
Policies and device management is very similar to a Windows OS environment, allowing for stress-free user creation, devices, and app deployment.
Self Service tool is also a great way to get users to deploy only company-approved applications.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

It is currently impossible to push app store app 'VPP' via self-service, a significant limitation affecting productivity.
OS update requires Admin credentials to restart the device.
Having to type in email twice to complete login process
Can't view device details or use Go Live function from the main dashboard.
Addidy interface could do with a more polished modern look.
VNC remote tool not working if VPN is enabled.
Price is higher compared to other competitors.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Addidy is an outstanding tool for device management that ticks most of the boxes. The learning curve is very manageable.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A streamlined device and to some extent user management
Ability to retrieve device information, uptime, serial number, OS version etc
Inbuilt LiveTerminal for remote management without user interruption.
Remote app installation and Self Service tool for approved company software.

**Official Response from Jackie Villavicencio:**

> Thanks for being a loyal Addigy customer and for your valuable feedback.

I'd like to share some updates recently rolled out in Addigy that would help improve your experience and productivity. Self Service now allows your users to install apps from Apps & Books, read the KB linked below to learn more.

  ### 9. Intuitive product that has come a long way.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

As an Addigy customer since 2019, the product continues to grow in positive ways. From the way policies are handled, UI changes, and added features and integrations; Addigy continues to impress to make the product both intuitive and simple to use. It is hard to find a platform that is constantly changing for the better in meaningful ways, and their team is always listening to the community to see what can be altered. As a relatively new MDM user, I couldn't be happier with our choice in Addigy. They also provide a good knowledge-base as well as offer training to help maximize the potential of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

My only downside is when selecting software from their public catalogue to deploy to devices, all previously used versions still reside in the portal, which could make it a bit messy.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addigy has helped us onboard multiple MacOS and iOS devices onto our existing Windows/Linux infrastructure. As we continue to grow as a company, we are able to expand our support into the Apple ecosystem with the help of Addigy and their MDM solution.

  ### 10. Addigy makes my life easier!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy's MDM is lightning-fast and works seamlessly with all the macOS and iOS products i've encountered. The policies were recently revamped to make them even easier to manage (thanks!). I love that I can push custom apps to workstations, and all I have to do to onboard a new workstation is to install the Addigy agent.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Addigy has an opportunity to improve their monitoring tools. While they are great when reporting when I request to be informed if a server goes offline, the ticket does not auto-close if it comes back online. Also, it seems to hoard old version of software in their local repository on the workstations, which could fill up space, but that could be an issue on my end not knowing how to automate cleanup.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addigy makes it very simple to deploy new machines into an environment, while also providing advanced options for when I need more customization. The solution truly is the best of both worlds for my Mac endpoints.

  ### 11. Easy management of your Mac estate(s)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Easy to use management tool to manage settings and updates.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Live Desktop connection does not work very well

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addigy is reducing the time it takes to perform maintenance tasks and allowing the automated deployment of updates and applications. It allows us to apply security policies and ensure that general maintenance tasks are performed.

  ### 12. Addigy - great rates, reliable device support, simplified management.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike C. | Systems Automation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

The ease of device management. We can write simple MDM configurations and deploy them with ease. Ensuring solid device management remotely.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The only thing we have encountered so far is the lack of support for Conditional Access by integrating Microsoft InTune for MSO365 data management.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the big picture problem of how to safely, securely and simply manage remote macOS devices with a platform that provides the greatest support processes for all engineers in our company.

  ### 13. Great Mac Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hollie M. | PC Tech, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Their customer support is top-notch, almost immediate. Their staff is always friendly and available to help. Managing software updates and remote control are great!

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Some additional features for ios device management would be nice! It would be great to revert ios device names when admin users change them. The MDM certificates expiring each year are hard to keep up with.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to find mac devices and change their names back when users decide to change them.

  ### 14. A great macOS-centric RMM for MSPs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh C. | Tier 3 Service/DevOps Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy offers the ability to remotely connect to macOS systems in a variety of ways, but the most useful in my experience is LiveTerminal. This is where you have a full-fledged macOS terminal right inside Addigy; just as if you were sitting at the system.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Addigy's policies seem a bit restrictive. They have started working on this to make it easier with the implementation of "Flexible Policies", a feature that's currently in beta.

Having a fully compatible MDM builder that matches JAMF's would also be a great addition.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to manage 1200+ macOS systems almost single-handedly. The automation that is built into the monitoring feature saves both time and money. It's allowed us to do more with less.

  ### 15. Addigy is the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave W. | Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy is awesome!!! The Addigy software and their support team have been a great partner for us.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Addigy required Double login when using FileVault

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a MSP we embrace our all Mac customers and using Addigy allows us to support them with security policies, alerting and automatic software and App installs. I highly recommend Addigy as a MDM and RMM for the Mac platform.

  ### 16. Addigy - absolutely amazing automation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergey M. | Information Technology Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

What I like the most about Addigy is the all-inclusive factor, where you can do pretty much everything with the providioned devices through the entire life cycle, starting with building a Mac, which in my case is fullay automated through Addigy. When a Mac is in production, I can easily deploy new tools, run remote scripts as needed to ensure the security protocols are being followed. When it's time to remove the Mac, simple Wipe command helps me to safely remove the device from my environment. I have worked with a large number of MDM products, but I find Addigy MDM is the easiest to use, yet super powerful MDM product.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

As many other organizations, my workstation fleet is hybrid and consists of Macs and PCs. I truly wish that Addigy was my sole MDM platform for all the operating systems, used in my organization, however, as it seems, it is more oriented towards Linux based devices, leaving Windows OS in the dark. Perhaps one day, Addigy will be able to support not only Macs, but PCs, and mobile devices as well.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are so many:
- remote provisioning of my Mac. What used to take hours of manual work has been replaced with an automation, taking care of the full provisioning of new Macs for new hires
- remote support. While my org does have other tools to support users, I find Addigy very useful and efficient, when providing remote support to my users
- OTA delivery of the software updates - no more sleepless nights wondering how many sofware updates have been missed
- remote lock and remote wipe helped me to secure data several times, when laptops were lost or stolen

  ### 17. Powerful, no-nonsense MDM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew G. | IT Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

1) Updates provided for commonly used apps, allowing us to keep the OS and apps current
2) Addigy is actively being developed to keep pace with MacOS developments
3) Easy learning curve
4) Support is quick, knowledgeable, and friendly
5) Price. The subscription is a bargain for what you get
6) Realtime device status and SSH login

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

1) There is the odd UI issue, e.g. moving a device from one policy to another isn't intuitive
2) Please add "sign in with Microsoft"

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Control over what is deployed. We were able to delay the Big Sur upgrade until a legacy app was upgraded. This avoided disruption to our staff.
2) Being able to approve system and kernel extensions means we can eliminate permission prompts for approved software, improving the user experience
3) Deploying software updates is quick and easy. Minimal time is required for management.

  ### 18. Addigy is responsible for making my remote work possible!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy helps me organize my organization. They have the best support team out there when you need it.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Sometimes a bit slow on getting the latest version of apps in the public software.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Look past the setup. Once Addigy is set up it is very versitle to supporting remote and organisational needs.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem would have been the remote work that is almost required now from Covid-19. Addigy allows me a vessel to remotely help all of our Mac users problems without haveig to be "desk side".

  ### 19. Makes Apple UEM Simple and Backed by a Fantastic Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan H. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy was easy to set up and deploy. We were able to create our policies and manage our devices within an hour.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The Addigy interface could use some work. It feels a bit dated and is convoluted.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an endpoint management system to ensure all our Macs are deployed with a standard configuration, users can install apps as they need without having to wait for an admin, devices and applications can be easily kept up to date, and all can be done remotely due to the pandemic. Addigy does it all.

  ### 20. Great Product for managing Apple Devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick C. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

The hyper focus on managing apple devices. A lot of MDM tools try to manage lots of different devices. By focusing just on Apple, Addigy is able to deliver a superior product.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The Interface can be a little confusing, especially at the beginning.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Take the time necessary to learn the interface. It can be a little confusing at first, but once you understand how it works it's very easy. Also, learning and understanding how Apple Business Manager and Apple Apps and Books works is a key component for success with any Apple MDM solution. Addigy has made a lot of improvements to their iOS management recently. If you weren't satisfied before with their iOS management tools you'll find them greatly improved. Any MDM solution is just a tool. It will require work to get value out of it. MDM is not a set it and forget type solution. We have used several different solutions and Addigy has been the best for our needs.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a managed service provider with dozens of clients using macOS and iOS. Addigy allows us to provide a very high level of management and support to our clients. Apple has very specific protocols for properly managing devices and Addigy allows us fully manage devices with Apple guidelines. With Addigy we are able to remotely support users in both their offices and WFH. We are able to very efficiently enforce security policies, install and update 3rd party and OS software and configure devices. Addigy also has great tools for remote support including remote screen sharing for macOS. Overall, Addigy saves us time which is our most valuable resource.

  ### 21. More customization less headaches compared to JAMF

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zac B. | Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

We love Addigy it supports organizational inheritance which removes dependencies associated with large environments. Provides for DRYer deployments. The integrated public software option cuts way down on maintaining our in-house deployments and speeds up onboarding. The real-time deployments tab takes out the guesswork associated with new roll-outs. Enrollment into the platform is quick and easy with the use of static organizational links and deploying the agent is even faster through the use of a simple cURL command. You can even stack just the agent on top of another MDM provider.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Not having exclusion groups or the ability to statically assign items can be frustrating. It is possible to use custom facts to address these concerns but it adds a good bit of time and complexity.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated deployments allow us to move quickly and effectively no matter the number of endpoints. Automatic remediation and logging allow for insights into how many endpoints were affected and fixed projecting our overall work-saving efforts. The live desktop tool is a quick and effective way to connect. The integrated SSH terminal is even faster for gathering information and silently addressing issues.

  ### 22. So far the best management tool for Macs I have used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hudson F. | Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

As a support specialist, I love the fact that I get a lot of information about the machines I am troubleshooting. I don't need to spend ages trying to find info about the computer's main user or the amount of disk space left.
I also like how easy and effortless it is to take remote connection to the end-user's computers.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The search function can be a bit kinky sometimes. But I like the fact that I can use the user's account name to search for computers.
More reporting tools would be nice.
For example a way to report/list all machines with a specific version of MacOs and then, the option export that to a .CSV file. That may be a feature already but I couldn't find it last time I needed.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I provide end-user support and Addigy gives me all the tools I need to provide fast support. I don't have to spend ages searching for the information I need about the machines I am providing support to.
And not having to use TeamViewer is just a blessing.

  ### 23. Addigy Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

I really love how feature rich Addigy is. There is a lot you can do and it's nice being able to manage a whole fleet of Macs from a single dashboard. The LiveDesktop feature works very well and it's super nice to not have to fumble with another piece of software (like TeamViewer) to connect to someone's screen.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The interface! 20 years in IT and I can still barely figure out how to work Addigy. It is incredibly unintuitive and that is the biggest let down. There are so many powerful features but you really need to go hunting for them in the interface. If you don't specifically remember where something is, good luck.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Make sure to do all of the training and really give it a thorough test before implementing. As I mentioned, it is an incredibly powerful system but a very confusing one to use. In some cases it may be better to use a system with less features but one that is easier to manage and navigate.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are managing multiple Macs from a single Dashboard. We can see their specs, connect to them remotely, create users, restart machines etc. It's pretty much like sitting at the Mac you're connecting to remotely.

**Official Response from Jackie Villavicencio:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We value your input and will be taking your comments into consideration. Our team is working hard to continuously adapt our product and make our UI more intuitive. You will be seeing more releases announced shortly that will make things easier. If you would like to know more, please reach out to our support team support@addigy.com, reference this review, and we will be glad to walk you through it.

  ### 24. Great scalability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

The up sides are being able to control all my devices at once

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Found it difficult to learn the system to begin with

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all our devices in line with current IT policy benefits me by saving a huge amount of time by being able to mass control devices rather than doing it individually.

  ### 25. The BEST for Multi Client Mac Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel F. | Senior Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

If you have multiple clients you want to manage in one pane, look no further. MSP control center goes toe to toe with the rest of the players in this space. You don't have to be a coding programming language expert. Addigy makes a system for the entry-level Mac IT person to grow into.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Love the improvements Addigy has made over the last year to the UI. There are some areas that I know they are working on and cant wait to see. Addigy UI is not sexy however know you are not missing out on any functionality either.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deployment of devices has been streamlined. Saving significant time savings. Installing, deploying, and updating machines is simplified. Keeping track of assets and specifications. A powerful set of tools from evaluating bandwidth to running commands behind the scenes.

  ### 26. Robust Apple MDM Solution. Built for Anyone. First Class Service.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SaM F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Most MDM solutions require hiring an engineer to develop scripts to manage your devices. Addigy does the heavy lifting for you so you can focus on the important stuff. I was up and running in days without hiring engineer.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The UI functional. Addigy is working on making it amazing. The frequent updates they have been rolling out have further solidified my decision to use Addigy. Looking forward to upcoming updates.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deployment has been accelerated exponentially by utilizing their built-in software catalog. They keep it updated constantly. I also love that I can see all the details about the devices I manage in one simplified customizable view. A built-in Terminal tool that interfaces with the machine in the background. Built-in VNC client. Too many useful everyday tools to mention here.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Addigy's interface can sometimes be clunky and while information is easy to navigate and find - Too much information presented can sometimes become a hinderance.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addigy helps manage and track company equipment. This can be from things such as remote management as well as employee support. We also utilize the information in Addigy for accounting purposes.

  ### 28. Decent performace, great features easy to deploy, some technical issues so far not the best support

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Ease of deployment and management console

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Not all features are fully functional or have severe technical issues(Identity).

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile Device Management needs for Apple Products. Benefits us in easier device administration and remote administration.

**Official Response from Jackie Villavicencio:**

> Hi. Thank you so much for your feedback. Sorry to hear about your challenges. Please reach out to us at support@addigy.com. We would love to work with you and get these technical issues remedied. Thank you!

  ### 29. A great choice to take control of your Macintosh endpoints

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

If Macintosh devices are a significant portion of your tech stack, and you've been looking for a centralized endpoint management solution to address your needs on that platform, then Addigy is what you want. All the critical pieces you may need are available. Endpoint pool management (including configurable asset data fields). Device health, monitoring, and metrics. Support tools that work well on Macintosh machines. Policy-based software deployment. Introduction of Addigy took that segment of the tech stack from managed chaos and improvisation to perfect order for me.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

I'm an information glutton. I took immediately to building custom views and equally quickly discovered that the interface does not always display scrollbars on large tables. Of course, you can deal with that by simply dragging your monster table across two or more screens. Entering information into your custom fields could probably also be simplified a bit. And you will need yet another authenticator app for 2FA to keep your Addigy secure, as you should. But all of these are on the level of pet peeves - minor inconveniences that can be dealt with, especially if you consider just how much work Addigy will spare you.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Plan your deployment. If possible, take stock of your endpoint pool. Try to aim to onboard devices with policies already designed and implemented. Finally, think about who in your organization might need access and ensure sufficient training. Addigy is fairly self-explaining to a seasoned IT professional, but I'd rather not rely on just that when fielding to a large team. And finally, don't obsess over ROI. It's hard to put monetary value on a well-managed endpoint fleet until you get compromised and see how much that can cost you.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addigy is an excellent solution to address the need for centralized management of the Macintosh devices comprising a portion of your tech stack. With Addigy deployed, you will always have all the information about your endpoints at your fingertips, plus the tools for automated deployment and centralized endpoint support.

  ### 30. Addigy has saved us during these trying times.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

The ability to see one device or several devices and their status. Then being able to remotely log onto the device even when they are not on campus.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

There is nothing I can think of that I dislike about Addigy. We have been using it for several years now.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

I highly recommend using Addigy to manage your Mac devices. Having this resource will help you provide better support to your users.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With distant learning, having this feature was a life saver for our teachers. I could add a home printer or solve issues on their devices. There is also the ability of pushing out new/updated software to ensure they are current on the apps.

  ### 31. Addigy is a great multi-tenant Mac RMM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy is great for multi-tenant environments. We can setup multiple customers within our account, which is something we have not been able to do with JAMF. We can also give our customer's access to Addigy for some self-management tasks.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

I wish it was easier to deploy software via Addigy to endepoints. It would be great to be able to setup some kind of self-service portal that lets end users manage their own software install.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Get assistance from Addigy for a trial deployment from Addigy. It can be difficult to get everything up and running from scratch if you do not have experience deploying an RMM or MDM solution.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Addigy to manage a fleet of Mac machines across 70+ unique clients. We can create some standard configurations that apply to all customers and then customize them for customers that need different settings or configurations. We use the tools for everything from proactive management to remote access for on-demand support.

  ### 32. Feature rich MDM with a great community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas R. | Senior IT Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

We like Addidy's implementation of policies 'similar to AD OUs' to allow the easy management of macOS clients. These policies allow our team to deploy settings, restrictions and software/apps to our fleet of MacOS clients across multiple sites around the country. In addition, we have found the Addigy community to be an invaluable resource of advice/information for deploying software and scripts to make managing the fleet as efficient as possible for our Team.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Nothing that is a dealbreaker but; Addigy seems to be orientated toward more of an MSP feature set, for our team managing clients within a large organisation this means there are a few quirks around DEP & VPP App Deployment across multiple policies. Some of these include:
Addigy doesn't support the ability to make VPP App-Store apps available from Self-Service, we have a number of VPP apps that we would like to make available to our users via self-service.
Addigy doesn't support/doesn't have the ability to manage software via groups e.g. we would like to create a software group and tag it to individual devices rather than entire policies.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Great MDM, I have used a number of MDMs and found Addigy to have all the features that you need to Manage your MacOS fleet.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Addigy we are managing a fleet of 400 plus macOS clients across multiple sites around the country, Addigy allows our team to deploy settings/configuration, software & VPP Apps and updates with ease. Addigy has also allowed us to begin working toward implementing a truly zero-touch deployment standard where we direct ship new devices to the end-user. The zero-touch deployment standard has a number of benefits including time-saving for our IT Staff / Team, reduced waiting time for end-user and elimination of the double shipping cost.

  ### 33. Addigy Simplifies my IT life!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

the ability to remotely update policies and how it's able to connect directly with our Azure on-prem AD.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

nothing! Although I do wish their were more ways to remote into users machines

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Policy Management, Software security Patching, Remote Device support, Ability to deploy software packages at will when needed.

  ### 34. Addigy is the best Apple MDM software I've used so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

The monitoring aspect and the ease of deployment with Addigy is great, I can keep the macs from hundreds of customers monitored and in check. we can easily deploy patches and security fixes. It is so good that I'm surprised Apple hasn't bought them, haha.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Nothing, really. I really like the product. it works perfectly for our use case scenario, and we have tried other tools in the past like Solarwinds N-Able and Addigy is way better.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Addigy is very good, get familiar with it, it might become the standard

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to easily monitor and deploy security patches is a huge plus, before we were using SolarWinds N-Able and it sucked. Addigy is 100% better than competitors, unless apple eventually comes with their own in house solution.

  ### 35. A competitive MDM solution for MSP's managing macOS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy's remote access tools are great and have been a lifesaver for various customers. The ability to host multiple small customers in a single intstance while still maintaining some separation has been helpful in reducing administrative overhead. We appreciate the integration with ConnectWise Manage (though this could be improved).

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Some features don't work as well as we would like - particularly the ability to build, edit and deploy custom MDM profiles for items not inside Addigy's default catalog.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing macOS endpoints via MDM across multiple customers with Addigy has been helpful. Other vendors make this less easy to do. We're now able to report more accurately on the status of macOS devices across a given fleet.

  ### 36. Addigy has washed away many past frustrations, and smiled at every step of the way.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

I appreciate the attentiveness of the entire support team and how they're willing to step into your workspace and use case to get a problem solved. Addigy's support reps are always so kind and helpful in all of their tickets, even filling in some gaps to use them as teaching opportunities, which helps our techs spread that knowledge and benefit the Team. The part of Addigy that I like the most would be the simplicity in its' user interface and dashboard. With other MDM platforms, many functions can be hidden behind a lot of jargon and convoluted menus. In contrast, Addigy's parts do exactly what they say, and it helps techs that aren't used to Apple device management jump in and contribute.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

I dislike some UI decisions when it comes to managing policies and going back and forth between a few. Additionally, I wish there were more GUI options to filter file installs between M1 and Intel macs as we have to write, albeit simple, condition scripts for our smart software. On top of that, Public software, which is convenient, needs to be side-stepped entirely because of this...there's no option to attach a condition script to them. It's probably the Apple nerd in me, but I wish we had more icons to choose from when customizing a Policy's color and Icon. Also, I feel it would be beneficial if there were M1 Mac Icons on the Policy overview page to show how many M1 devices are in that Policy. It would also be incredibly helpful to have a file manager of sorts, as I have to go through pages and pages of files to find a random one to load into a piece of smart software. If we had folders and more organizational options, that would be great!

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved complex deployments with Addigy. With OKTA SSO integration (The main selling point for us) our lab deployment/provisioning is now completely touch-less. It takes longer to unbox a product and hook it up through cable management than it does to install the MDM configuration and software. These problems have only been made possible with the help of their excellent support team, filling in the gaps when we couldn't figure out the answer.

Often, Mac installs can differ or need an extra step or two when compared to our Intune platform we use to manage Windows devices. This problem is solved with Addigy and the smart software feature, which has been such a boon.

To piggy-back on the prior statements, we have realized that there is a support team standing by to help us in whatever use-case we are bringing to the table. I think we have also realized that deployments don't have to be complicated and the there's more opporunnity for making the End User's experience easier with Addigy's systems.

  ### 37. Easy to manage multiple clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addigy has helped our business manage different clients in one single interface. Addigy makes it easy to use MDM and helps deploy software to the machines with easement.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The only downside about Addigy is that the deployment of system updates. You have to make sure that everything is set correctly. The other downside as well is that the feature updates are a pain to deploy as you can't deploy it out at once.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that we are solving is that we are able to manage different policies and separate each client into their own policies with its own child polices to manage the computers easily.

  ### 38. Looking for MDM?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

I like the pricing! The application is feature rich, with the ability to do all that you are likely to need as an admin or support tech. Addigy, when compared to alternatives, comes out at least equal in my book.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

There isn't too much to dislike about Addigy. It has Multi-Systems Support, Apple Support, Usage Information, Remote Monitoring, Asset Tracking
Application Deployment, Patch Management, etc....

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apart from physical issues, there hasn't been an issue I haven't been able to resolve. The ability to quickly solve issues leaves me free to concentrate on bigger issues.

  ### 39. Great solution for Mac management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Addidy is an affordable and comprehensive MDM solution that is simple to use for everyone. Policies are created and applied in the same way as windows management policies are.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

They could make some improvements on their logging. Other than that, Addigy has everything we need. They also continue to roll out new features and support has been helpful.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing all apple devices (macs, iPhones, iPads). We now have the same level of control as we do for our windows users. It has definitely cut down on time we spend on management.

  ### 40. RMM for Apple Products that works well

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor W. | CEO and Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Our initial deployment of Addigy to our Mac clients went smoothly, and the mobile devices we've onboarded thus far have been easy.

The interface makes it very easy to manage the devices.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Thus far, I have no complaints about Addigy. It works as promised.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Be sure to try out the product and communicate with support. They are extremely helpful and can answer almost any question you have.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using another product as an RMM solution on Apple devices, and it left MUCH to be desired and was barely functional. Addigy has changed all that.

  ### 41. Great experience so far

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle B. | End Point Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

One of the items I like the best is the public software catalog so I don't need to manually do that work uploading common packages in Addigy

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

Policies with Parent/Child can get clunky

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to do maintenance behind the scenes without having to interrupt the user has been beneficial

  ### 42. I Do Recommend Addigy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

It gives me support at everything related to administrating my client's machines. I have felt zero impact on the Corona Virus pandemic because of Addigy and the remote support tools it has!

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

I find that Addigy, sometimes, is very laggy. Slow to load even if my internet connection is at peak speed. Other than that, I think that maybe the interface is not very intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Buy it.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly remote access problems, apps installation, computer configuration, troubleshooting, clients inventory.

Also, organization monitoring related to infosec.

  ### 43. Happy long time user of Addigy.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graham H. | IT consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Easy to deploy public software, find client machines, and deploy changes to organizations.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The interface takes some time to figure out, still not as straightforward as I would like, but once you've mastered it, it's fairly easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

Make sure to read the documentation and training materials and videos, as there is a bit of a learning curve. But once you've learned it, it is quite powerful.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying several new machines to users is far easier and faster than before. Allows us to control what software is installed and push updates out at once.

  ### 44. Easily the best MDM we've used so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Addigy?**

Working with the Addigy platform has been a breeze for us. With features like the LiveTerminal, Custom Facts, and Monitoring/Remediation, you can create a powerful platform for employees to ensure that devices run smoothly. We've worked with Addigy for about a year now and have found new ways to work with Addigy.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

The only pain point we've been having so far is the file management system. We'd like to see a more organized approach to uploading new and replacing packages. As it is right now, packages/scripts are uploaded all in one place, creating confusion and clutter.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LiveTerminal has helped us regulate many issues we would have had to deal with in person behind the scenes. We also created a few automated maintenance scripts that have helped us save time.

  ### 45. Powerful, Cost Effective RMM for Apple Devices

**Recommendations to others considering Addigy:**

This is a great product that just keeps getting better. Support is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Addigy?**

It's a pro and a con, but how much the program changes. A lot of the new changes are really good and helpful to my work, but it can prove a bit annoying to relearn some of the material on the website when one of the things you liked using disappears.

**What problems is Addigy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was mainly installing programs or changing profiles/certificates. Addigy makes it easy and fast to send out these commands with efficency.
