"Mobile Access and Flexibility Shine, Reports Need Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I appreciate Acumatica's mobile access in a world that increasingly requires EASY access from anywhere. It's a nice change from our legacy system, which had matured to the point where growth was stunted. I also like that Acumatica is a young product with plenty of room to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

More reports available out of box at implementation are desperately needed-new customers learning a new system do NOT need to have to learn how to do a GI or master reporting software just to get the data they need. The report designer lacks much to be desired... complete overhaul is in order. Lack of basic out-of-box reports was a big headache and stressor. Knowing I had to reinvent the wheel, to get something I knew other customers also needed, was frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Spence of Acumatica

Hi Julie!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We're thrilled to hear that mobile access has made such a positive difference for your team, and that the flexibility to work from anywhere has been a refreshing change from your legacy system.

You're absolutely right that strong reporting should feel approachable from day one, and we genuinely appreciate you naming that pain point so clearly. Since this review is a few months old now, we're hopeful you've already discovered some helpful resources, but in case they're useful, Acumatica Open University (linked below) offers a few free courses worth exploring: "S130 Data Retrieval and Analysis" walks you through creating generic inquiries, advanced filters, and pivot tables, while "S150 Report Designer" covers building and configuring reports step by step.

The Acumatica Community is another great place to turn, with practical threads like the "Acumatica Report Designer Guide" and "Creating Simple Generic Inquiry" where fellow users share tips and templates.

Thank you again for helping us grow. Feedback like yours genuinely shapes where we go next.

"Intuitive ERP with Seamless Integration, Needs Better Native CPQ"
5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I like Acumatica's intuitive UI, which makes the barrier for entry easy. It's set up well for integrations and customizations, allowing it to feed into and be driven by existing systems. I also find the cost to be very competitive, making the larger more Enterprise ERP options less enticing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

The CPQ functionality is limited. Although there are external systems that can be bolted on to handle this, it would be better if this was native functionality in the tool. There are two major things the current system doesn't handle well. The first is multi-level BOMs. Being able to create BOMs with configurations and stack them on top of each other to create a larger product, while maintaining the ability to configure each subassembly on a sales order or quote is key. The second is the ability to integrate with CAD systems like SolidWorks, where engineers build their models that house the rules for how to update the BOMs as configurations change. Also, much of the necessary data isn't available at initial setup, so we have to standardize and collect it, which makes the process long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Spence of Acumatica

Hi Dustin,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. We’re thrilled to hear that our cloud-based ERP solution provides a single source of truth for your data, enabling timely and accurate business decisions.

We value your feedback and are excited to share that our 2026 Acumatica releases include updates to address the challenges you mentioned.

Enhanced Product Configurator

Robust, native Configure, Price, Quote functionality is essential. We’re introducing major enhancements to our Product Configurator. You’ll now be able to manage complex, multi-level Bills of Materials directly in the system. This allows you to stack configurations for larger products while retaining the flexibility to configure subassemblies on a sales order or quote.

Native SolidWorks Integration

To improve connectivity with design tools, Acumatica will include native SolidWorks integration. This will let your engineering team seamlessly sync models, ensuring Bills of Materials automatically update with configuration changes.

AI-Powered Data Migration

We know initial data setup can be time-consuming. The new release includes AI tools to simplify and standardize data migration, reducing setup time and minimizing manual work.

Your insights inspire us to keep innovating and building a scalable platform that reduces costs and empowers your team. Thank you for being a vital part of our success and feel free to learn more about the 2026 R1 release in the link shared below.

"Comprehensive Solution with Setup Challenges"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I like that Acumatica is a one-stop-shop for everything from customer management to parts sales, labor tracking, and invoicing. We can create proposals using D-tools, which sync to Acumatica project quotes, then convert to a project where we use service orders and sales orders to track parts and labor. Our projects also have billing tasks built in and a dashboard that keeps track of it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

I believe the areas where Acumatica could be improved are the taxes and change order/change request processes. The change orders don't track estimated taxes, and in the revenue budget, items can either include tax or be non-taxable entirely, which complicates commission calculations. Also, I found the Microsoft Outlook and Teams plug-ins with Acumatica very difficult to execute thoroughly and successfully. I have not been able to get Outlook or Teams plug-ins to work at all. Additionally, the initial setup of Acumatica was very difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable, Improves Data Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I use Acumatica for all operations like manufacturing, inventory management, financial processing, CRM, and WMS. I love how Acumatica can be personalized to fit the industry I work in and even down to my specific role within the company. The increased visibility of data and the ability to highlight KPIs for all team members are great. It has also streamlined and automated many processes. As someone who oversees data and analytics, having access to real-time data to show different departments how their operations are running and to get ahead of issues is huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

The Shopify connector I always have issues with. It is not very flexible and often causes extra work for different team members to monitor failed sync records. I think there needs to be more allowance to edit the work flow of each entity. Specifically on the items, in my business we take pre orders for items before we even know if we can secure the seed (due to crop failure). The item status is very strict and does not work the same for the Shopify display and the Acumatica display. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Spence of Acumatica

Hi Marryn!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. It's wonderful to hear how Acumatica has helped you boost data visibility, highlight KPIs across your team, and automate processes for manufacturing, inventory, CRM, and WMS. That role-based personalization is exactly what we love to see in action, and it sounds like you're putting real-time data to great use.

We also appreciate your honesty about the Shopify connector and the challenges around item statuses and your pre-order workflow for seed crops. Those are valid points, and since your review is a little while back now, we're hopeful some of the recent connector updates have eased the sync monitoring for your team. If you'd like to dig deeper, the V210 Retail Edition (Shopify Connector) course on Acumatica Open University (linked below) walks through configuration and data synchronization in detail. The retail section of the Acumatica Community is also a fantastic place to swap solutions with others tackling similar inventory and sync scenarios.

Thanks again for being part of our community, and for helping us keep getting better.

"Revolutionized Our Warehouse with Real-Time Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I like that we can use handheld devices in the warehouse with Acumatica. It lets us take and upload photos of the packing slips and material directly to the transactions in real time. This saves me from having to scan, rename, and file each packing slip at the end of the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

I feel like there is still so much for me to learn with Acumatica. Our biggest hardship in the warehouse is the time it takes to process materials (transactions). It takes several minutes to get items received and onto the production floor. I'm sure this can become more efficient when I learn more on automation. The implementation took a long time, about 1.5 years, and wasn't easy, as it took me away from many of my daily responsibilities as a Warehouse Manager. I think we still needed more time prior to implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Spence of Acumatica

Hi Annalicia!

Thank you so much for sharing this, and we're glad to hear that real-time packing slip uploads and handheld device functionality have made such a meaningful difference in your day-to-day operations.

We completely understand the frustration around transaction processing times and the demands that a 1.5-year implementation can place on a warehouse manager who already has a full plate. Since this review was posted a little while ago, we hope things have started to feel more manageable!

If you're still looking to speed up material processing, the D210 Automated Warehouse Operations course on Acumatica Open University (linked below) is a great place to start. It covers automated receiving, put-away operations, and mobile app workflows that align closely with what you're already doing. For a stronger foundation on inventory and order management overall, the D100 Inventory and Order Management Basics course is also worth your time.

And if you ever want to connect with others who have navigated the same challenges, the Acumatica Community (community.acumatica.com) is a wonderful space to ask questions and learn from fellow users. You're not alone in this, and we're rooting for you!

"Intuitive ERP with Robust Capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I appreciate Acumatica for its simplicity and intuitive design, which makes it easy for basic users to navigate and complete their tasks, speeding up processes and finding efficiencies. I find the flexible UI, dedicated workspaces, and robust user roles particularly useful, allowing me to control user access and declutter workspaces, which helps users focus on their tasks and facilitates cross-functional collaboration across departments like sales and production. I also value how Acumatica has almost eliminated our dependency on Excel, which was a big issue with our previous software. Plus, the initial setup of Acumatica was easy, with the main challenge being cleaning our data beforehand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

The WMS is very bare bones. It has some limitations like the fact you can't lookup an item's alternate locations during the middle of an order pick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Spence of Acumatica

Hi Mary Elisa,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We love hearing that our ERP solution provides you with an intuitive design and a flexible UI. Hearing that you have successfully eliminated your dependency on Excel and streamlined your operations across departments like sales and production truly inspires us.

We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the WMS and understand that not being able to look up an item's alternate locations during an order pick creates limitations. Our team values this insight, and we will share your comments with our product development group as we continue to refine our tools.

Thank you again for choosing Acumatica to support your growth.

"Scalable Solution with Customizable Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I like Acumatica's capability for financial controls, project management, time entry, financial reporting, service management, and manufacturing, especially in the construction and services industry. Its scalability and flexibility to adapt as we grow are key benefits for us. I also really appreciate the ability to change major workflows, approvals, and reports with low-code/no-code. Acumatica's generic inquiry tool is amazing because it lets me build almost every report needed for our business, whether it's financial reporting, operational reporting, or tracking records through workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

The field services module is probably the weakest aspect that could use more work. There are improvements on the roadmap that definitely solve the issues that we are experiencing. The calendar board for dispatching, for example, has a lot of limitations on scheduling intuitively and lacks the ability to show it as a calendar for field technicians on their mobile phone. It does not sync with other apps like Microsoft Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Advancements, Minimal Setup Hurdles"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I find Acumatica's reporting feature easy to use, allowing me to create unique reports that are tailored to our needs rather than relying on pre-made reports. I like that Acumatica is continuously growing and advancing, with new advancements every year that keep it ahead of older ERP solutions. The new UI features are particularly valuable to me as they let me design the format of the screens to create a more user-friendly environment, minimizing unnecessary clicks for my end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

One of my end users' biggest complaints is seeing inventory allocation inside the sales order line screen. They currently have to click into the line details screen to see this information. This is a long process if you have a lot of items on the order. It was a lot of work to convert the data from the old system to Acumatica. Also early on in the implementation process, we had to make decisions on things we did not fully understand, and we just didn't know enough about the full capability of Acumatica to make some of these decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Spence of Acumatica

Hi Parker,

We’re thrilled you enjoy our user-friendly reporting features and ability to create tailored reports. Acumatica’s customizable inquiries enhance your team’s experience, and we’re proud to stay ahead of older ERP solutions.

We understand your concerns about inventory allocation visibility within the sales order line screen and also recognize the challenges of transitioning data from your previous system. Implementing a robust platform often requires early decisions before fully understanding its capabilities.

Thank you for your patience during this process. I've provided a link to our free Open University which provides a variety of materials for online learning that can help anyone learn the skills needed to realize the full potential of Acumatica.

"Four Years In—and Still Impressed"
5/5
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I find Acumatica to be exceptionally intuitive. When I joined a new company with minimal training, I was able to teach myself how to navigate and use the system with ease. Unlike many other programs that come with frustrating quirks and steep learning curves, Acumatica runs smoothly and efficiently, offering a user-friendly interface that makes adoption straightforward.

The platform is robust and feature-rich. Even after four years of daily use, I’m still discovering new modules and capabilities. In my 20-year accounting career, Acumatica stands out as one of the best—if not the best—software solutions I’ve worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

The only module I’ve found to be somewhat less intuitive is the Inventory module. While I don’t use it daily in my role, I’ve noticed it can be a bit tricky to navigate at times. That said, it still performs reliably and offers solid functionality. I’m confident that with a bit more hands-on experience, I’ll be able to master it fully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
