I've been an AC user for about 8 years and couldn't run my company without it. The automation flows are incredible, intuitive and just work in the background to keep bringing people into my membership. I can easily integrate it with other platforms which is really helpful. I have multiple team members who all have learnt quickly how to use it and we use it daily. There aren't many features I've wanted and haven't been able to find that AC can do - eg. conditional content in emails. I tried clickfunnels which is great software, but I kept coming back to AC as it is a much better all-round package. Customer support was much faster when I first joined - they used to have a great chat widget and respond within a few hours, now it can take days although I haven't tested it recently. It's also expensive. I'm still a mid 6-figure subscription business and the annual cost does hit hard on the cashflow. I also really wish they had an easy to configure, pretty unsubscribe page where people could just have toggle switches for what they want/don't want and I didn't have to build a whole logic automation to make it work. The deals feature is increibly intuative. We were able to roll AC out to our sales team who had stopped using any CRM 10 years prior. It was an easy trasition thanks to a beautiful interface, endless resources with the education center, and responsive customer support. ActiveCampaign is well suited to scale, too. Manchmal gibt es bei mehreren Automationen so viele Funktionen und Optionen, dass es als Anfänger schwer ist, die beste Wahl zu treffen. I like that I'm able to store all of my client data in one spot and then tag them based on category. It allows me to reach my clients based on their specific interests in our company whether it's personal training, group classes or nutrition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that recipients of my emails and campaigns need to be verified. It's difficult to market to the masses if they need to approve receipt first. I struggled at the beginning having to pair down my contacts list, but in the end, it makes sense that I'm now only reaching out to people who truly want to hear from me. We moved to ActiveCampaign from two separate systems -- one a CRM and one an email marketing provider. Having the capabilities for both of these in one solution has been amazing for our school -- now we just need full integration with our school management solution and we will be set! I love how easy it is to use ActiveCampaign for creating and sending our marketing emails. As the Communications Director for the school, the customization and automation tools have added more power and versatility to that aspect of my job. As a non-profit, our former CRM had donation tracking and reporting capabilities that are not as well developed in ActiveCampaign. The pipeline creation and automation of several fundraising tasks are great, but the reporting and tracking features are not as robust, and we find ourselves needing to create custom systems within ActiveCampaign. I love how straight forward the workflows are. I have yet to run into a automation that I can't create using AC. In the last 5 years I have migrated myself and 4 other clients to AC with lists ranging from a few hundred contacts up to 50,000.

They have always been super personable and helpful when there are issues or questions.

I've appreciated when experiencing tech issues I've always been able to get in touch with a real person and I love their latest updates making tagging and segments more user friendly.

My clients have been able to understand the platform better becuase of this.

The only negative experience I've ever had was a few years ago - I had my account for a while and had many features that I assumed were grandfathered in, including a few landing pages.

During an update to their offers my access to the website feature was removed. I understood they were changing their offers but I had no warning that this feature was being removed and instantly had no access to market my services. When I contacted them to regain access so I could move my content to another platform I was told I would have to upgrade my account and there was nothing they could do.

It seemed silly to me that I had to pay for something they removed without warning.

It does not link to our current software, but we knew this ahead of time. Still, it is very time consuming transfering existing and new information from our system to Active Campains. Also, with AC being able to do so many things, it is ALOT to learn! It is hard to figure out where to start. They have many videos and articles, but it is hard to weed through things that do and don't apply to our specific business industry. The automations are very easy to set up and modify. There are so many more things you can automate than obvious at first glance. The videos they give you access to as a new customer are excellent - I used AC in a previous business so I wanted a refresher and it was a useful thing to do as I picked up a few new tips and tricks.

Update since my last review - the new email designer is way better than the old one giving much more flexibility and now they've added the ability to better store brand colours it all takes less time to get a campaign out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can't cope with a client having more than one email address, so if this is important to you - avoid! It's been on the request list for years now. I'm UK and the live chat support doesn't open until the afternoon which can be a real pain when you're trying to solve something in a hurry, email support is rubbish. They don't advertise their opening hours clearly so if you're not in the US time zones (AC are in Chicago) it's worth thinking about whether you're going to be able to access support when you need it. La plataforma es ideal para crear campañas únicas y que se distingan del resto. Además, la sección de edición es bastante flexible y me ha servido de mucho para mostrar el contenido tal como lo deseo.

Hasta ahora hay solo un aspecto que no he resuelto, pero tampoco lo he necesitado mucho, y por ende no he preguntado cómo resolverlo, es que al incluir código en una campaña no se refleja. ActiveCampaign is an incredible platform which is very easy to use. It has multiple capabilities for automated journeys as well as one off eDMs. I also love that we are able to save our Outlook emails with supporters on AC so the whole team knows whats happening.
