What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

Nothing yet. It's easy to add your data, but that doesn't matter if the output is low quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

19% Bounce Rate on Valid Emails. What exactly did I pay for? Also, support chat just directs to email support during regular business hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's supposed to clean email addresses. A 19% bounce rate on 'valid' emails sounds pretty dirty to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ZoomInfo Sales Overview

What is ZoomInfo Sales?

ZoomInfo Sales is the modern go-to-market platform for B2B companies. We have the biggest, most accurate, and most frequently refreshed database of insights, intelligence, and purchasing intent data about companies and contacts. We layer additional tools on top of that intelligence—such as conversation intelligence (Chorus), sales engagement (Engage), and data orchestration (RingLead)—to help you engage with prospects and customers. By integrating all of these tools with the other key systems you use, your go-to-market teams will be more prepared and well equipped to close more deals and hit their number.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

While ZoomInfo Sales is a powerful tool, there are a few drawbacks to consider:

🔹 Pricing – It’s expensive, especially for small businesses or startups. Many features are locked behind higher-tier plans.

🔹 Data Accuracy Issues – While generally reliable, some contact details can be outdated or incorrect, leading to bounced emails or dead phone numbers.

🔹 Steep Learning Curve – The platform has many features, and it can take time for teams to fully utilize them.

🔹 Strict Contracts & Auto-Renewal – Some users report difficulties canceling subscriptions due to long-term contracts and auto-renewal policies.

🔹 Compliance & Privacy Concerns – Since ZoomInfo scrapes and collects data from various sources, some companies worry about GDPR and CCPA compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

ZoomInfo has expanded our prospect pool significantly and made the process of finding the right people and companies much easier. The information we receive through WebSights and Intent is so valuable. We are equally impressed by the exceptional customer service we've received. Our dedicated representative, Randi, is responsive and goes above and beyond to address our queries and concerns. Randi not only provides timely solutions but also guides us towards valuable training resources that allowes us to optimize our usage. This level of support has been instrumental in helping us achieve success with ZoomInfo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

Engage. I wish it was a easier to work with Salesforce for the sake of our sales reps that are not as technologically inclined as I feel it requires. It's been tough for our team to get started, but seems like a very worthwhile tool once up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

Saving us the time it takes to find and research new prospects. It pulls all kinds of company data and makes it easily accessible and searchable freeing up time for getting in more calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

I like that I can get contact information for any prospect right from my browser using their chrome extension. I never have to leave the company's page or LinkedIn. My company has it set up so it syncs directly to Salesforce so I don't have to do any sort of manual inputs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

Sometimes the contacts are not linked to the right company. However, I play in the SMB space, so a lot of companies have similar names and don't necessarily have the online presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

ZoomInfo Sales solves the problem of providing data needed for prospecting. I'm an AE that needs to prospect, and to manually enter/find all the data I would need on my own would take forever. I also like how there are mobile numbers, as it's been hard to get people on their office lines lately. Having the mobile information is very helpful. I also use it to find some new accounts as well as cross reference data between the website and LinkedIn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

As an outsourced SDR/Lead Generation business, having great data is fundamental to us delivering successful campaigns for our clients. ZoomInfo gives us direct access to the stakeholders that are able to influence the procurement of our clients services saving us valuable time and stopping us getting blocked by gatekeepers. It also integrates seamlessly wth our CRM saving wasted time on admistration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

I don't "dislike" anything but obviously it would be great to have more mobile/direct phone numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

Most clients we work on behalf don't have "good data" and "good data" is the foundation of a successful lead generation campaign.

Part of our role for our clients is to build and cleanse a comprehensive database of prospects that meet their "buyer persona". Through SalesOS we are able to identify these prospects, import them into our CRM and often have the correct contact details to reach out to them directly.

We used to spend a lot of time on administration, adding prospects to our CRM. With SalesOS and the web browser plug in we are able to rapidly import prospects details into our CRM, saving a huge amount of wasted time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

The ZoomInfo Chrome extrnsion makes it so efficient to get the data I need from wherever I am working. Whether I am looking for the right person to reach out to in LinkedIn, or getting ready to make a call in outreach. I can easily use the chrome extension to look up contact information and make sure I have the best chance of reaching them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

it can be difficult to get contact reports to sync with your account book from salesforce so that you are only getting updated contacts related to your accounts. This can lead to manual time still fitlering through the lists to only grab the relevant contacts you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

ZoomInfo solves the problem of making sure you have the most accruate conact info which gives me the best chance of reaching a potential buyer. This solves the problem of wasting time searching for the correct info acorss salesforce, LinkedIn, or other sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

What I like best about ZoomInfo sales is that it truly utilizes the best people, processes and technology to help my inpput, validate, optimize and capitalize on my sales pipeline. It allows my team to turn weeks worth of research and communication into a few keystrokes as well as bring accurate insights into our pipeline to help move things along and stay ahead of any challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

The only thing I dislike about Zoominfo Sales is that sometimes my other systems can't keep up like my CRM and ERP so I have to put pressure on those system managers to keep up with the accelerated progression as ZoomInfo doesn't heve an access point or contact to assist with updating integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

ZoomInfo Sales is solving a lot of problems but the most perimount is that it cuts down on the time my teams spend on data gethering and validation to score the probibility of an opportunity and accuracy of the correct contacts and intent of the pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

My favorite feature is the ease of use for subscribing to Advanced Searches and Intent search information; so that I receive e-mails when there are scoops, account / contacts additions and triggers within a prospective account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

The separation of Intent from Advanced Searches section makes it feel rather separate, and it interrupts my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

Demographics Accuracy

My primary use case is to expedite finding valid, responsive contacts within ideal mid-market prospective accounts within multiple market segments. Then, I leverage the integration with Dynamics 365 for Sales CRM, in order to 1) create the account / contacts quickly and to reduce the likelihood of creating a duplicate record in CRM.

Research in a Snap

Further, I like to use the data mining features of Sales OS a lot. Perhaps, I search for the organization of a client I really enjoy serving. I can find recent activity, updates, press releases, news and financial information. Those can be great talking points when I speak to someone on the buying committe or in a line of business role. Then, I click to show Related Companies and I have a list of 10 organizations--similar to my favored client; and I can use the data to reach out to others in their segment, in order to tell them about business outcomes I helped their 'competitor' to achieve.

Further, we allow Enrich to send the Technologies information to a custom tab / field within our CRM. That makes it quick and easy to find from within CRM without having to open the Sales OS interface.

Integration for Keeping Current

Then, once I claim accounts by exporting from Sales OS, I leverage Enrich. Enrich allows me--as an Administrator--to schedule automatic updates of the Contact / Company information. That way, if new information appears in the ZoomInfo database, Enrich makes sure that empty fields (e.g., phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.) are populated while leaving in place information we've entered manually. I have even created custom fields to receive Enrich data that helps Sales OS and the ZoomInfo Data Services Team to help me find data and trends.

Shortening the Sales / Marketing Motion

Additionally, I like upload lists from my CRM or from my partners CRM; so that I may check for Contacts and Organizational Intelligence. You see, I tag the accounts, as I import them; so that I may use the tag as a filter. After that, I apply search criteria plus the tag to filter a massive list into a focused short list of qualified accounts who are searching for information on the services I provide. Then, I can subscribe so that I get an e-mail to alert me when I should give some attention to that organization; and I add suggested contacts to identify people of whom I may not even be aware.

Digging Into Known Network Connections

Incidentally, the Reachout browser add-in is a real winner. I like to visit LInkedIn profiles and Websites. Then, I click the Reachout button and reveal instant information about the person and their organization. I can even click to dial or click to e-mail them before / after I export the contact into my CRM. Also, Websights can tell us about site visitors browsing habits on our company Website--even when they are not yet in our CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

Being able to upload a list to ZI is really efficient. We can match based on characteristics and be able to pull it out or send right to our CRM. We historically had really bad contact data and data sources so it was crucial for us to find a service that would actually have our contacts and help us in updating their information and characterisitcs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

Not having location level data. There are times where we need contacts and their data at our account level and not necessarily at the parent level. We can't bring that data back into our CRM because the accounts wouldnt match. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have really old data in our CRM for our contacts. Our other databases we use for account details and account data has really poor data when it comes to actual people. We are able to get contacts with up to date infomation, titles, contact information and previous emplolyment history. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

I like that it integraes with Pipedrive directly as far as exporting info. the info is accurate. i love the ratings and the ability to see who activley answers their email and phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZoomInfo Sales?

Not everything inegrates with pipedrive. While I can export from zoominfo, I cannot export a list from sales navigator. I can do it one by one or manually, but not an enitre list which is problematic. Copilot does not integrate and a bunch of the advances features which is a real bummer. If you want to export a list directly from sales navigator, you cannot, you can only do that within zoominfo, so you're not actually scraping new info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZoomInfo Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

it solves our lead mining issue and verifies emails for us. it lets us see see who has a better shot of answering email and calls with th accuracy rating. We are able to see who visited our site and for how long, from where and what pages. the intent setttings help alert us who we should be reaching out to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
