What do you like best about Zen Planner?

The fact that this system is so easy to use and it incorporates platforms like Zoom.

The best feature is the Zenplanners calendar can be embedded on our website along with the ability for new prospects to reserve a trial class Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zen Planner?

possibly that I'm on the other side of the world(Australia) making communication slightly delayed.

What do you like best about Zen Planner?

It is a basic gym management software that allows for billing, class scheduling and payroll management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zen Planner?

So many of the features are outdated and the communication with the company is absysmal. Even their newly upgraded email system is basic and hard to use. Using the scheduling feature is difficult, especially compared to free calender apps like Gmail. I've also been trying to move information to a new payment processor for over 3 months now and it seems like every time I try to contact someone, no one knows exactly who is handling my account. The regular customer service is nice enough, but they can only forward my information to someone else. What was quoted as a 30-60 day process of switching over to a new payment processor has now taken 93 days as of 7/14/2024 with no solid answer in sight. At the end of it, I'll still have a $700 bill in addition to the hundreds of dollars that I've paid to keep my account active so I can collect invoices from customers. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zen Planner?

There is SO much capability and compatability for zen planner. is has A TON of features. class tracking, calendar function, automated emails, reporting, etc. I have been using it for 10+ years and they continue to try to improve systems and improve integrations. Customer service is typically very quick to help resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zen Planner?

So much of zen planner is redudant and the functionality DOES NOT meet best practices.

There is a appointment calednar on Zen planner studio AND in Zen Planner Ultimate. Neither of these calendar functions are as simple and useful as either calendy OR Acuity. so you have to pay for another service.

The same goes for the email automations. The email builder is present in the Zen Planner Studio, BUT it is also present in the Zen Planner Ultimate. I think that neither of these email systems is better than what Uplaunch was. I would RATHER use uplaucnh than either of the email builders currently available.

if there was a way to customize some of the functionality so that I could clean up and use what was useful for my business and get rid of the rest that would be ideal.

All THREE platforms zen planner studio, zen planner ultimate, and sugarwod OFTEN crash and have to be rebooted or reloaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zen Planner?

Studio: Their main platform for member management, ZenPlanner Studio, is easy to navigate, easy to use, and dynamic. You can build custom reports for literally anything and everything (super helpful when you track your number as a gym owner).

Engagement: The CRM - I had switched short-term to a different platform because they had a CRM, but I wasn't happy with their member management. As soon as ZenPlanner announced that they had a CRM, I jumped immediately and couldn't be happier. The implementation was tedious, but ZenPlanner made it painless. They integrate Studio and Engagement exceptionally well, and the automations/workflows have streamlined our onboarding process for prospective members.

The biggest thing about ZenPlanner is the customer service - they answer the questions and get back to you with answers if they don't know. They are always asking for feedback, listening to their customers, and actually implementing change and improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zen Planner?

Small first world problems - the retail in the web-version is a little clunky, and you can't toggle between multiple studio databases (have to log in and out each time). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zen Planner?

Very easy to use system, was a customer for many years. Very ease to see everything I needed to run my fitness studio, advanced reporting, stock management, easy payment processing and usage for my team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zen Planner?

ZP has the best customer support in the business. We've used a few payment processors and various tools like MINDBODY and no one has support staff as knowledgable and upbeat as ZP. The software is solid, and there's definitely room for growth, but it's pretty pain-free. Their greatest strength lies in their support staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zen Planner?

The software needs to be modernized. While it's solid, there's a dated feel compared to peers like MINDBODY. That said, it's still intuitive and logical - once you've gotten the hang of it it's no fuss at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
