What I like most about Yardi Breeze is the efficiency. I like that they have techs to answer any questions I may have and issues are resolved immediately. We upgraded from Yardi Genesis, and Yardi made the transition smooth. The interface is easy to understand. The weekly checkins from the conversion staff was great. They answered our questions quickly and helped us find work arounds for how we used the software. Our staff uses Yardi every day in the office. We are starting to use the payment features on RentCafe to make it easier for our residents to interact with staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, in order to get a main report that the management company uses, we'd have to upgrade. Since it is on the cloud and not desktop, entering information as I move through the fields on the screen take a bit more time for the cloud server to catch up. I love how easy it is to use this software. Everything was explained very well by our onboarding team for using this platform. When I had a question, our rep was quick to answer. I've also utilized the chat option, which was really fast for getting an answer. I love how it also integrates maintenance requests, so our tenants can enter their requests and it goes directly to our maintenance worker. When we have a to get information out to our tenants, you can send out a mass email/text/call to ensure everyone gets the message, such as water needing to be turned off for maintenance request. Entering in tenant information and charges can be time consuming. Also, when looking at a tenants info for example and I want to go back, it takes me back to all property tenants and not just the property I was looking at originally. Our experience with Yardi Breeze Premier has been exceptionally positive, marked by an easy and seamless implementation process. The platform's user interface is intuitive, making navigation straightforward. Additionally, the help center serves as an invaluable resource for both refreshing our understanding of existing features and facilitating the adoption of new ones. The customer support, especially through chat, has proven to be an outstanding asset. Yardi Breeze Premier notably lacks in two areas. First, it doesn't support intercompany bookings, meaning invoices from one entity don't automatically appear as payables in another. Second, its corporate accounting functionality could be enhanced. Although it permits the creation of a corporate entity with a customer interface, this interface is less efficient compared to the property interface. Consequently, users must register customers as "tenants" to manage A/R aging effectively. A direct option for handling corporate books, especially for non-property customers, would greatly improve its functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that with onboarding, they get back to you and answer questions the same day. I also love that when we are having our meetings and they are teaching me how to do certain tasks or putting something into the system, they take screenshots of the recording and send it the same day. This is huge because if it's been a couple days and I can't quite remember how we did something, I can go back to the notes that THEY took for me. It's step by step. I think the only critique is that I would love an option for our onboarding meetings to not necessarily have a hard stop. Once your hour is up, you have to request another time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a good software to manage properties and properties related accounting. This has various features which are useful for any property manager or property business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike few things, I believe these things can be improved.
1. At the time of posting journal / payment / receipt - if we are selecting any date, it should change the period according to selected date.
2. If we are copying any voucher then date should also be the same while copying the voucher, Currently it is entering current date after clicking on copy voucher.
3. There should be a scope of doing intra properties entries, sometimes, money is getting transferred or receiving from another property. This feature is missing from Yardi Breeze.
4. We also should have feature of posting journal of different properties into one journal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Yardi fairly easy to use, customer service is great. I use Yardi daily M-F. I like the many features for tracking rent payments, cpi increases and following lease dates. I really like how I can correct mistakes and make adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The bank occasionally drops when making deposits, which is annoying. I would like to see what check number is up next before I hit the payment or print number. Since we do electronic deposits, putting each payment in, depositing and printing a deposit slip is a bit time consuming. I would like to be able to make payments from the payment window without the invoices being grouped together automatically, i.e. PGE comes out at different times of the month, but I would like to go through the window and select multiple payments which are listed seperately. It is user friendly
The customer support is amazing
You are able to set your leases for the entire term and forget it until the lease nears end.
I use for mostly commercial properties and other than a few adjustments it works well.

I think that some of my issues are because I am a commercial user.
Most of my tenants find it hard to access Rent Cafe in the beginning.
I wish I could create invoices for companies outside of customers and tenants
I wish I could attach Bank Recs to the rec's in yardi and also I wish that Yardi Breeze would alert you if you are changing something that will effect a previously closed Bank Rec.
