8x8 Work is very easy to use!! It is easy to implement and the customer support that I received was outstanding. I recommended 8x8 to the company I am now working with as I had previous experience with it at my previous job and they are super happy with how it is working. I use the service every day and I have had zero problems. It is very easy, if you want to use it as a basic dialler, the just copy and paste the number, put your headset on and you're up and running!!! It was easily integrated into the company and we will be adding more users for sure!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no dislikes about 8x8 as I recommended it and I knew it would be the best choice for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy the ease with which I can switch from my deskphone, to my laptop, or to my cell phone (with the mobile App). It makes beaing accessible to the clients a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are times when the app will not dial out. It is as though the app glitches out from time to time. This happens on the laptop, the mobile app, or the deskphone. Sometimes it will last for at most 2 hrs. I can receive calls, but calling out creates a issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful features we leverage in 8x8 are related to call queue management, ring groups and after hours / holiday call handling menu's. Documentation is outstanding, as is support (especially if it's a work stoppage issue, they will call you immediately), and the overall management admin console is highly configurable yet simple and intuitive. Teams integration and SMS capability allow our team to communicate more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no dislikes with 8x8. We've been using it for about 3 years and have had zero issues with functionality of stability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once logged on you are capable of reaching anyone in company with directory extremely easy to navigate. Intergration with anyone within the company make it user friendly. I use this daily as part of our phone systems. Since we have our own IT team there customer support is never needed. Implenentation was easy for entire office. Unable to implement use when not on line/connected to computer. unable to hear phone ringing which make it not a good feature if you do not sit at your desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software product design and implementation is VERY non-IT end-user friendly, intuitive and easy to grasp. Often overlooked and I will say it here for any potential new customers: Support is Great! The Chat Bot is programmed well enough that it doesnt become a frustrating experience, and the transition to Human chat agents is perfect. The human agents are also good at what they do and are thorough in their support and guidance for issues faced. If you ever run into an aspect of the advanced features and settings their knowledge center is definitely full of helpful step by step instructions to help you quickly resolve an issue. So far nothing rises to the level of dislike here. All software platforms are a learning curve just like some folks prefer apple approaches to GUI design and customer products and others prefer Microsoft approaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a solid product, Works very well and very intuitive to users. Installation is easy whether using MSI or EXE, both take a few minutes to install. While on phone, it can be flipped to cell phone instantly, There is also an Outlook snap in for meetings. We use it on a dialy basis and most of our folks love the products. Also customer service is top notch. We'll get a call from support within hours of placing a ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not come across anything i dislike about 8x8 except when placing a ticket or support call and picking the time zone. This list is very long. If they could somehow revamp this feature and make it easier to get to our time zone that would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using the 8x8 VoIP phone system for several months, and it has exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we implemented it, the platform has been incredibly reliable, with crystal-clear call quality and minimal downtime. This has drastically improved both internal and external communication within our company.
One of the standout features of 8x8 is its robust set of tools. The system is more than just a phone—it offers video conferencing, messaging, and team collaboration all in one integrated platform. This makes it easier for our team to stay connected no matter where they're working from, which is a huge plus in today’s remote work environment.
The user interface is intuitive, making it easy for everyone on our team to get up to speed quickly. The mobile app is another great feature, allowing us to make and receive calls on the go without any noticeable drop in call quality. Plus, the analytics and reporting tools have given us valuable insights into our communication patterns and helped us optimize our operations.
Customer support from 8x8 has been top-notch as well. Whenever we've had a question or needed assistance, their support team has been responsive and helpful.
Overall, 8x8 has proven to be a reliable, feature-rich, and cost-effective VoIP solution for our business. Whether you're a small startup or a larger enterprise, I highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their communication capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The update process to the 8x8 Work Desktop app requires admin access to the PC so periodically our team members have to have IT remote in and authorize the update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We dont have to switch between different apps anymore, coz everything is in one place which makes things easier to handle.
SInce its cloud based its easier to add new users or remove.
Integration with the CRM made it easier for our sales and support teams coz they can track customer interactions without leaving the app.
Using 8x8 instead of multiple other tools saved us money for multiple reasons.
Overall its an all in one app. It took me a few users of usage to learn more about their various services. So it plays a major role in my daily communication with the users.
and the customer support is the best especially for the technicalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of our team members found it hard to get used to the new system (web app) so we had to spend extra time training them or spend on hardphones for the stubborn ones.
Sometimes especially during busy times, call quality drops. this can be annoying but this can be due to various reasons.
We cant change much in the app to fit our specific needs . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility in being able to customize settings for individual employees, calling groups, queues, and automated options. I particularly like the ability to use uploaded audio files for recorded messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The video conference features are a little glitchy. It's better to use a more full fledged video conference solution such as zoom. If the video conference audio was fixed it would be a perfect all around solution for remote work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how user friendly the platform is. Other platforms can be difficult to navigate, and excute basic phone functions. The 8X8 platform is clean, sleak, easy understand, easy to navigate, and really feel in control of your phone system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, nothing. We had a couple of expected hiccups when porting, but that was mainly because of the holiday delay. The 8X8 team has worked with us every step of the way whether it be research, planning, pricing, and all of the above. I can't bash 8X8 just yet. Ask me in six months. lol Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
