What do you like best about Workday?

Workday is one of the best cloud-based employee management portals I have come across. It has one of the easiest to use platform with an amazing user interface. Workday is a complete human resources management system where you can manage employees' personal as well as professional information. I use it minimum 3 times a week. What do you dislike about Workday?

What problems is Workday solving and how is that benefiting you?

With workday I have been able to update all my personal information like address, phone number, as well as my professional information like my work experience, skill set, etc. This information can be accessed by almost anyone at the organization making it easier for everyone. Workday also has a mobile app which makes it easier to be connected. It helps me a lot with my logins & reviews while also helping me in tracking and managing my payroll. What do you like best about Workday?

I use Workday on daily basis, and love a lot of its features. For example, I really like the Time management component, as it makes it really easy to mark my working time/time-offs and vacations, which provides visibility to my manager.

I'm also a fan of how Workday is integrated with Slack. The quick actions I can do without leaving Slack nearly eliminate the need for me to use Workday directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday?

There are quite a few things I don't like about Workday. My number 1 issue with the platform is that it's very complicated to find anything. I am constantly asking and bugging my colleagues or my manager to find someone who knows how to complete a given process.

The other huge issue I have with Workday is its unintuitive user experience. I've been using Workday for nearly three years, and I still don't know how to close out my notifications, or how to view updates on given processes.

For example, I was trying to request a document from my HR partner through Workday. I filled in all the necessary details and sent the request to the HR partner. A couple of days later, I see a notification about that document. I did not even notice that the HR partner sent the document back to me as I needed to correct a few things. I just thought that I probably forgot to send it a few days ago, so I sent it again. Then the HR partner reached out to me through Slack, and only then we were able to figure out what was going on. After checking my first notification once again, we found the comment from my HR partner hidden somewhere at the bottom, invisible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workday solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workday for me is solving the issue of time tracking. It eases communication with my manager because everything is documented there. It also acts as a great document hub for me, as I can always access my own documents from wherever I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workday?

We use this Workday for storing the employee information’s, such personal details, previous employment details and contact details. It helps to track the goal setting to yearly appraisal feedback. we can easily be able to track the compensation revisions history as well. it is highly secured website. it requires password + additional two security questions to login. this ensures the additional safety of the data. easy to track the request made to HR.
