One of Webtrends Optimize's strongest areas is in their account management, consultancy and strategy. The overall planning, project management, hitting of deadlines, and the collaborative approach is second-to-none - all with a customer-centric attitude. Being able to pull from their pool of experience is of great benefit, especially when the account managers are experienced across such a huge range of different e-commerce businesses. Their developers haven't failed any tasks - even incredibly complex personalisation pieces that required bespoke development. Webtrends Optimize are now fully embedded, helping our business to shape and implement our online optimisation and personalisation strategy.

The platform itself is technically very good and is just as good as I’ve seen elsewhere, but the level of service and support is what takes it to beyond what you would expect. Everything we have wanted to do, even bespoke things outside a ‘normal’ experimentation or personalisation program/process, has never been a problem and they’ve helped us find solutions that really work for us. Nothing really that I’d call out so far. I’ve not come across a technical blocker and any requests we have brought to the table that are outside of the norm have been dealt with in a supportive manner by the team there, with positive outcomes off the back of them. Loads of features/tools exist within the platform and all are available for us to use. Ie. nothing is blocked off or upgrades/extra costs needed to access anything. Commercially it is very reasonable and we found them very flexible to talk to. Our team are really happy with the support we’ve had (questions or issues always answered really quickly, there’s always easy access to various people in the Webtrends Optimize team and advice/ideas/help/pointers have been pro-actively provided). As a PM I’ve used Webtrends Optimize on my client accounts and have always found the platform really simple and intuitive for use by myself, by our tech teams (devs and CRO specialists), and for clients.

In my experience it’s been easy to onboard clients with the platform, and the support given by the team at Webtrends Optimize is first class - both in the setup stages and ongoing day to day. They are always on hand to answer any questions and the team there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The additional guidance and training provided is something I’ve not experienced with other similar platforms.

Pricing is really reasonable and flexible, which is not offered by a lot of the other tools I’ve used in the past. Myself and my clients have been particularly impressed that they offer product recommendations and social proof features as standard, as that’s definitely something I’ve not found with many other similar platforms.

The team and the platform are combined perfectly to guide us through tests. As a daily user of your own site you become blind to so many 'opportunities' and this is where the value of Webtrends Optimize really comes in. The support has been the standout factor for us and really been second to none.

Having quite a small amount of traffic coming through the website and a small team, our website can sometimes get forgotten. However having the ease of the Optimize tool to build a test, and their team encouraging us and supporting us with simple recommendations etc. It has helped us to improve online leads/bookings and do the necessary work on our website.

The only disadvantage is that we would like to do more with the tool, however we don't have the right knowledge to code any tests. Optimize have helped with some of this and the release of their new widgets tool has been a big help but we can be a little limited as we get into more advanced ideas. Webtrends is very easy to implement and has a great user experience that feels like it's been designed to make life easier for the user.
