I have been an administrator on this system since 2005. I have used the system at a high level longer than anyone in the U.S.
Top product features:

- Shotgun connect (increases speed to call), Pull Distribution (leads can be shared)
- Click to Dial (increases calls made by users)
- Lead Prioritization (management sets criteria for which leads are priority)
- Reporting (various canned and ad hoc reports)

- Ease of use (ramp up time for users 2-5 days)

- Local caller ID (customer sees local area code on caller ID)

Being able to contact leads with ease. I'm able to see every bit of contact with potential clients. It really helps when trying to close things out and helps everyone figure things out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prioritized view. It's hard to use this option. Some people deny all contact. I can't input their request properly due to how we do things here so contacted leads who don't want to be contacted anymore, continue to stay in queue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Velocify has an easy "click to call" feature which is convenient, but after using this software for 1+ year as a requirement for my job, I have yet to see any "improvements" over how we used to conduct business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The primary focus of my job role is NOT reaching candidates as quickly as possible. For that type of role, I can see how Velocify may provide benefits. Much to my dismay, Velocify has not made my job any easier. To the contrary, it has made it much more difficult. B/c my dep't is the only one in my company that uses this software, I now need to work through 2 client databases. in short, Velocify simply gets in my way. I feel like I'm always doing "double work" and my company recently rolled out enhancements to Velocify. These enhancements were geared towards migrating the notes that I add to Velocify to be transferred over to the old client database that every dep't uses on a daily basis. I honestly can not give just one answer to this question. Velocify has helped our business tremendously in many different ways. The solution allows us to track and measure just about every aspect of our business. Any time we can see productivity results by staff member to recognize positive behaviors and have visibility to opportunities which allows us to have teachable moments and coaching with our sales team. Velocify gives us a real time update of what is working and where are efforts are best spent. It allows us to see the return on investment and track every marketing campaign so we can dedicate the bulk of our efforts to what is working and market with laser like precision. We use Velocify every single day. I view it as the most important member on our staff. Money well spent. Every document that we send out to our clients are automatically sent out through Velocify. It automatically fills out PDF's and sends them directly to the client based on the information my reps input. I can track every reps progress instantly! 1.Once a file has been deleted it is gone forever. :-( Just learned that the hard way today. 2. I wish they had a predictive dialer that was more focused on aged data. The ability to create and action off of any filter or ruleset defined in a report or prioritization allows for very granular control over a lead base. Customer service continues to be top notch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Velocify is a simple yet incredibly powerful and customizable solution. The system is really simple to use for an end-user and gives them all the tools they need maximize their close rates on leads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
These are nice-to-haves: there is a wealth of insights generated in the Velocify platform. It would be nice to leverage the data using gamification dynamics to keep end-users more engaged and focused on activities and behaviors that drive sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reason we decided to move forward with Velocify is because of the unique features they offered and the fact we could create a work flow that worked for our business model. After a few sessions with their support team we were utilizing a custom built lead management tool that was tailored directly to our needs and the setup was painless. We use the intelligent distribution to get the right leads to the right rep increasing our closing ratio almost immediately. We would like to see more reports that would accommodate to the companies that are not in their core verticals. It's very clear that the reporting they have for the mortgage, insurance and education verticals cannot be matched by their competitors but our setup is 100% custom and the reporting could be better.
