What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot as a central tool for improving retention and accelerating time to value in my product-led growth strategy, which helps convert new signups into active users. Userpilot solves the problem of feature under-adoption by allowing me to highlight features at the right moment, increasing engagement and overall product usage. The biggest advantage for me is how fast I can launch and iterate without relying heavily on developers to deploy onboarding changes. This helps me respond quickly to user feedback by deploying tooltips or guided walkthroughs to address any confusion immediately. Setting up Userpilot didn’t require much developer involvement; I could create tooltips, checklists, and modals on my own, which made launching and testing experiences much better. What do you dislike about Userpilot?

While the A/B testing feature is useful, it could benefit from more advanced statistical insights and clearer reporting. What do you like best about Userpilot?

I really like Userpilot's intuitive UI and low learning curve. The product's strong and solid analytics and user journey visibility offer more than enough insight for most product growth and feature adoption use cases. Being a startup, it's the perfect combination of analytics, in-app guidance, and one platform at a very good value compared to enterprise-heavy alternatives. Their customer success team and implementation team are fantastic, very responsive, and I'm always very happy with them. It was very easy to set up with a quick implementation from the engineering side. I appreciate how it empowers product and non-technical teams to make changes and put out content easily. It's amazing how fast it allows us to iterate and move with any release. What do you dislike about Userpilot?

What do you like best about Userpilot?

The product has a rich feature set which allows us to think out of the box even when our own underlying systems are restrictive. This allows us to solve problems that we've never been able to do before and understand a lot more about our users.

The customer service is fantastic. There is always a useful help article or support from an agent. Customer success lead Lauren is very knowledgeable and understands our business and problem set extremely well.

As there are so many features, a casual user can sometimes get overwhelmed and has to spend time understanding what is best for the problem they are trying to solve. I use Userpilot as part of our product-led growth strategy, helping boost activation and retention while also deepening feature engagement without solely relying on external communication channels. I really appreciate the built-in analytics; being able to track completion rates and engagement within the same platform helps me measure performance and refine experiences based on actual user data. The experimentation tools are useful, but I wish there were more robust and integrated A/B testing features. Setting up experiments currently feels manual, and having a dedicated A/B test wizard to guide users through choosing variants, setting goals, and defining sample sizes would make experiments more accessible. I use Userpilot to segment users based on behavior and profile or lifecycle stage and deliver targeted in-app experiences. I really value the built-in analytics; being able to track flow completion rates and user engagement directly within the platform helps me optimize onboarding based on data rather than assumption. The setup process was aided by clear documentation and in-app guidance; whenever I had questions, resources were easy to find, which made the onboarding experience smooth. My team switched from Appcues to Userpilot because while Appcues worked well for basic onboarding, we needed more advanced segmentation and analytics, and Userpilot gave us better targeting flexibility and more control over personalization. What do you like best about Userpilot?

I love the strong combination of features that Userpilot offers. The ability to use analytics alongside features like in-app surveys, tutorials, and emails makes it a very powerful tool. I really appreciate how, when someone gives a bad review on a CES survey, I can look at the screen recording to see what is frustrating them. What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I think mostly the inconsistency. For example: you can plan when a survey should go live, but you cannot plan when your changes in the resource center go live. Or you cannot test the resource center in the staging environment, but you always have to do that in production. Another specific thing is that you can use global throttling only on page-based surveys and not for event-based surveys. I find that strange. Why call it global throttling then? I want to make sure that my users do not get survey-fatigue. I find that more important than gathering feedback. And also in the analytics I am sometimes limited when making a dashboard for surveys for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
