Many entrepreneurs and small businesses use Google Voice (even when it was Grand Central), but the sound quality is often lacking and it fails miserably when your business grows and you need multiple people using the same "business" line. We have a distributed business and did not want to mess with VOIP phones (or even extra hardware for that matter), USB Headsets, etc. I also never wanted to miss a call from clients or prospects and I wanted all of the calls to sound like I'm next door to them. Truly delivers on all fronts. Additionally, we need clients to get routed to the right support, sales, and billing people and we did not want clients bottlenecking our systems by calling only their favorite individual employees. Truly allows us to have a calling tree and to have all outbound calls show as the corporate number on caller ID instead of the individual line (or GASP an employee's mobile phone number). We are able to perform a round robin on the support lines to ensure someone picks up and when my phone rings it tells me what extension someone called on and their caller ID. Once in a while the mobile app can be slow to show caller ID. I though think this may be an Android issue as compared to Truly's issue. It is an occasional issue only. If I'm on a long call, I can my battery drain is slightly higher as compared to being on the native phone app ... but I believe this trade-off is worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the Truly <> SFDC integration -- it is seriously one of the best integrations with SFDC that I've seen with any phone software, and it a tremendous help to my workflow. The integration allows for inbound calls to immediately reflect the name listed in SFDC, as well as providing a strong log of call recordings, overall completed calls, and performance tracking. I love how i can switch my number based on the purpose of my call and how easy Truly is to use. It's awesome i can listen to any of my colleagues phone calls at any time. I really love the ease of use. Truly makes it so easy to make a call from any site you are on if there is a phone number. The reporting functionality is really great as well. The latency at times would lead you to believe that the call isn't working, however the connectivity is an issue that varies severity wise and it's a rare issue. I do wish the soft phone key pad was more receptive or there was a way to link our keyboard letters to associate to the number it's typically linked to on a phone pad. I don't have any dislikes, but would suggest there to be a messages page on the desktop app like there is on the mobile app. For example, I can swipe left and right on my mobile app to view calls or messages, but on the desktop it's all in a single list. It's easy to navigate throughout the list by typing in the phone number you're working with into the search function, but separated lists would just make it a quicker process! It can crash during calls, or freeze altogether. You need to force quit and end the call, then restart and call back. Sometimes it freezes after a call has ended. This happens rarely, however, and the team at Truly is always quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
