Finding great software engineers is *really* hard. Resumes don't tell you much (anything?) about someone's actual abilities, and cold outbounding is damn near impossible. TripleByte solves both problems at once, providing you a list of easily sortable engineers who are actively looking for new roles. Cuts time to hire in half and increases quality significantly. The Lever integration could use a bit of love, but that's a small issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love that Triplebyte helps us find candidates who are strong on the dimensions we care about. Triplebyte's especially good at helping us identify candidates with non-traditional backgrounds who deserve our attention because of their skill. The Triplebyte process is quite smooth as well, and we save time by skipping all the pre-onsite stages for Triplebyte candidates since they're vetted by Triplebyte before we even meet them. Candidates on Triplebyte tend to be in high demand - so success on Triplebyte requires a really effective interview process that shows off your company in the best light. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The quality of the candidates. We did not connect with any candidates that were obviously bad, as we did frequently from other sources. Most of the candidates are top not coders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There can be a lot of competition for the candidates. They receive numerous offers, so it can be a bit more difficult to close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the quick and easy scheduling and candidate interests / what they are looking for in their next role. It also connects you directly with strong candidates and streamlines the scheduling process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that the experience portion in their profile is not up to date a lot of the time. I come across Source candidates who started a new role rather recently, preventing me from reaching out, but I wouldn't know this if I didn't go to their LinkedIn profile. Great descriptions/insights of candidates' abilities, what they're looking for, their background, strengths, and weaknesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their number grading system makes no sense. Not based off an absolute scale (unsure what it's actually based off of). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like being able to schedule pitch calls pretty easily with interviewers and candidates. Makes it pretty seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how there isn't a great way to search for candidate names in case you need to find someone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI--very easy to use. The platform presents all the necessary information in an organized manner and it's easy to maneuver through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When using the platform, we are allotted the "Fast-Track" list. For some reason, the list doesn't update with the newly added candidates on top, it tends to show the same candidates over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ability to source and reach out to candidates, filtering and search criteria. Ability to manage the process (reach out, schedule interview, make offer, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Takes quite a bit of effort to find candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
