I like Triplebyte because it allows me to apply to multiple companies at once, which increases my chances of getting hired. Additionally, it operates in multiple countries and welcomes candidates at all levels of experience, including those who are currently employed. The fact that they can help me negotiate my salary and benefits is also an advantage. Furthermore, the guidance and resources they provide for visa sponsorship is helpful as well. Overall, Triplebyte offers a comprehensive and flexible approach to job searching that is tailored to my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of transparency in the criteria used to match me with job opportunities makes it hard for me to understand how the process works, causing me frustration and uncertainty. I find it difficult to assess my chances of getting a job and what I need to do to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part of Triplebyte is the peace of mind knowing that the devs on their platform have taken their test. Overall we found that devs from Triplebyte were of a higher caliber overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though there are lots of devs on the platform, very few of them are actively looking. Thankfully that doesn't mean they aren't open to new opportunities, but it does mean that you'll have a lower response rate than you might imagine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Triplebyte offers a large pool of candidates and has more detailed technical stats on top of their raw experience. This combination allows for us to know more about candidates before we do intro calls with them. 3 of our current team of 10 are from Triplebyte! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We used to use Triplebyte over 3 years ago when the product was a little different. It was more of a white-glove service. Now more of the onus is on you as the hiring manager to find and source candidates from their pool. They changed the pricing model to account for this, but ultimately leads to more work within their product. The lack of diversity of candidates is something that we've noticed as well. I have been using TripleByte for the past 18 months, and I like that they are continuously improving the product. It was straightforward to set up the integration with our ATS (Greenhouse) so that once we engage with a candidate, we can quickly move them through our interview funnel. TripleByte is also great because it allows you to see test scores for many different areas of technical aptitude - which makes it easy to target our outreach and hone in on the specific technical need for a particular role. TripleBytes Account Managers are also readily available to help when I have questions, and they also provide a QBR to their clients which has many useful metrics to improve the hiring process. I dislike that TripleByte doesn't allow candidates to upload a regular resume - though it does provide a link to their LinkedIn profile which is helpful when used in conjunction with the candidate's TripleByte resume. It would also be nice to know when a candidate was last active on TripleByte. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used Triplebyte as both a candidate and a hiring manager.
Candidate: Triplebyte lets you show off your actual skills, not be constrained by a non-traditional background. They also provide excellent feedback on your interview performance and give you the resources you need to improve.
Hiring Manager: Triplebyte gives you access to a large pool of verified technically competent candidates. I have never brought a verified candidate onsite and found them lacking in technical skills. This allows me to focus on soft-skill assessment along with culture fit and reduce the overall complexity of the hiring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is difficult to find niche candidates sometimes. I struggled to find a candidate with experience in MacOS desktop application development. Another concern is the number of candidates who are active on Triplebyte, but not really looking for a new role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's incredibly useful to see an objective signal of an engineers technical ability early on in the sourcing process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some aspects of the interface need iteration and further development. It's challenging to build great search and filtering tooling and it's solid and getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love being able to see what area candidates are proficient in, allows me to understand the likelihood of them passing our technical screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how the platform is always changing without much of a heads up to the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Candidate quality is extremely high, the exam is very calibrated to our needs, and response rates are above average Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Candidate volume is a little low - which is fine given how high the quality is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
