CodeSignal’s user interface is second to none; it allows us to design our own assessments using adaptive programming questions that cover all bases. Also, the automatic assessment is fantastic; applicants (in this case, developers) receive instant feedback on how they are doing, and we can see a deep assessment of their skills as they develop. As a result, we have been able to find the best candidates faster and with much less effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not very useful for assessing the ability of candidates to work in a team or communicate effectively. This made it necessary to use additional assessment tools, such as interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The CodeSignal team's partnership upon implementation and scalability across our business has been instrumental. Their consistently high level of customer support has allowed our team and candidates to have a great experience when leveraging the platform. The CodeSignal platform and it's features are intuitive, making for easy integration for all of our users. I personally appreciate the CodeSignal's team approach to feedback - they consistently incorporate the feedback we provide as users and are constantly making enhancements or rolling out new features to address. I enjoy working with this team and highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Question levels are pretty fair. It makes you think very basic details. And it has agile quality. It makes you to write clean and readable code and also to leave some room for more code to come as per the new requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do like code signal alot. It's just that when all questions are relted, we don't get option to move to new question until we finish with the current one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As such there is no dislike about CodeSignal as far as my experience is concerned. But some users have found that the difficulty of the coding challenges can be inconsistent, with some challenges being overly complex, while others are too easy. I think this can be improved as CodeSignal has great talented software team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I try to log on every day, and use it pretty frequently to keep myself on track in terms of preparing for interviews. I think the test cases are better than they are on other platforms, to be honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the cooldown period between practicing certain interview questions can be lightly annoying, but there are so many other things to do on the platform that it is not an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part is I can use Codesignal to share my report with many companies. I don't need to take the exam many times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hope we can have more algorithm Questions in the database of Codesignal. You can also have some SQL Questions or other tech stacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The exam and interface were easy to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest issue, I think, was the inability to understand your scoring. I felt my solution worked well, passed all the tests, and covered corner cases. My orginal score was cut in half once reviewed and I'm still unsure why. I checked stack overflow, leet code, and other sources for similar questions and have yet to find my solution not similar or more efficient than other highly rated solutions. This made the experience frustrating to say the least. I understand not being able to show questions and answers but the fact my solution's score was cut in half with no explanation as to why, I don't believe, is best practice. CodeSignal shines with its pre-built question pool, letting you design custom assessments in a flash. The insightful results page then guides your next steps with detailed candidate data. Plus, the new AI summaries offer nuanced performance analyses, saving you time and effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I appreciate the pre-set time options for custom tests, the ability to define specific durations would add another layer of customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The replay feature for the interview, being able to look back at a specific timestamp and fork the state so that I can play around to see what could have been fixed. Or if they candidate goes onto attempt an extension and completely messes up their code, I can go back to when the main part of the question was working. The feedback section is great so that I can take notes while still watching the candidate code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When creating an interview, the popup with the link isn't clickable, I have to copy the link and then paste it in a new window Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
