How easy it is to use and the quality of the reports.
I use it everyday to check comments, scheduling etc and it was a game changer, I really love their "best time to post" feature.
Their customer support is always very helpful and ready to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish they would add more features like scheduling stories but being able to add stickers / polls etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I first started using Sprout Social in 2012. In the beginning, Sprout was the clear front runer for social management and over the 12 years I've used Sprout, it's only gotten better.
Why you should choose Sprout over other social tools:
1) Customer service - Responsive and helpful.
2) Ease of use - It takes less than 10 minutes to get all of your accounts connected.
3) Feature rich - smart inbox, listening tools, review management, TAGS (iykyk)
4) Reliable - I've used just about every social management tool their is and I always keep coming back to Sprout because it's reliable. It just works. Other platforms I've used send posts to the wrong channels, delete weeks of scheduled content, and provide useles analytic reports. Sprout just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the past, Sprout was defintely one of the more expensive options for social management and as a result, that turned a lot of users off. However in the past few years, they've made their pricing more competitive and I support that decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Sprout in my work frequently: every day, most often for scheduling and calendaring, and occasionally for metrics reporting or social listening. The platform itself is very useful, with a lot of features and tools--but it still manages to be user-friendly and easy to implement. Despite the plethora of features, it's not intimidating. And there are a lot of resources for users to get started, learn new features, address bugs, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In general, the Sprout team is responsive to bugs and issues but can take longer to implement changes and put things on the roadmap. Most recently, the example I can think of is Bluesky integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform has transformed the way that I manage my social media accounts and engagement. It was an easy and straight forward onboarding and integration and the training was simple and comprehensive. The customer support and response times are excellent and we are regular users of the platform. Absolutely no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No dislikes, I would like to ability to edit caption per channel in the publishing section, but an easy request to the tea mand they have put it in for consideration as a feature. Fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout Social does a great job organizing, planning and scheduling posts. The reviewal and approval process is easy for those needing to get the thumbs up before posting. As a social media specialist, I use this platform every day. I appreciate how easy it is to post across multiple platforms all at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a handful of occasional bugs on the site. I have not been able to use the "post immediately" feature. This is partly because my posts must be approved first. Howver, I wish there was a feature that posted upon approval instead of having to schedule the post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love Sprout Social because of its comprehensive analytics that help me track engagement and optimize content. I also appreciate how easy it is to schedule posts and plan content in advance. Plus, the all-in-one platform, social listening tools, and collaboration features make managing multiple clients so much more efficient! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could access different competitors' data without having to reach out to the admin team—it would make competitive analysis much smoother and more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Analytics - hands down. The ability to separate posts by tag, campaign, platform, type, etc has been transformational. I once had problems at work with the team not having enough visibility into how each type of post is performing. This was before Sprout, and I ended up manually pulling the stats for each post from the past 6-12 months. This was tedeious and endless, also prone to human error. Since then I found Sprout and has been recommending it at every company I've worked at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some API limititations from social platforms themselves that prevent me from tagging people in Sprout. I wish this wasn't the case. Because of this, I still have to go and manually tag people on LinkedIn for example. This isn't Sprout's fault though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how quick and easy it is to schedule posts and then toggle over to look at analytics. It helps us make informed decisions about our social media posts especially what is working and what isn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't love that you can't create one post to post to multiple platforms and then edit per platform within the same work area. This would be beneficial so we could add links to some and not others and reduce copy for platforms like X without having to create a whole new composition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My two favorite things about Sprout the planning and reporting functions. Being able to plan content and see at a glance what the cadence and grid looks like is important. Love the tagging capabilities for categorizing content and being able to pull reports on tags/categories/campaigns. The reports are simple and quick to get key metrics. I am in Sprout every day! There are a ton of features and not all are needed. The inbox is great to see notifications and activity, but I wish it was two-way such that if you interacted in the native platform it would get completed and not show in the inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone who uses Sprout daily, I find it to be of an extremely high quality and the support provided by the Sprout team is second to none! Very smooth and user-friendly with very little downtime if any and any potential issues (They are rare) are resolved very quickly. Switching from our previous system was made seamless thanks again to a high quality support structure put in place by Sprout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'll be honest I have come across and known negatives for what I use Sprout for during my day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
