What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Scheduling was simple across platforms, and finally, in 2024, we could collaborate on IG posts for the first time within the platform. Assigning cases to Customer Service as needed was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

It costs way too much for what you get, or at least for what we need. They really get you with user fees and we are a seasonal business so we double our users for just a few months a year and they want us to pay for the seats that are unused year-round. YouTube analytics don't pull in anymore and we keep getting the brush off on when it will be fixed for months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sprout Social solving and how is that benefiting you?

They allow for our social content team and customer service to work out of one platform. We can see most of our analytics, but not YouTube. We can schedule posts across all platforms, but not optimize for YouTube non-shorts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love that I can use the app to monitor my platforms on the go. I also really enjoy the premium analytics feature, it truly gives a much more in-depth look at your performance and the ability to make strategic decisions a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest problem Sprout Social is solving for me and my organization is number one scheduling content and being able to provide a content calendar to my team as well as being able to have access to in-depth analytics to be able to make decisions based on data and KPI metrics. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I mean it when I say that Sprout Social has been by far the easiest, user friendly social softwares that I've used. Compared to other platforms the implementation process is super easy to learn and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I would say my least favorite thing about Sprout Social is, just by personal preference would be scheduling videos. I still think that posting directly on social platforms manually is still easier than what sprout offers at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My very small marketing team wears many hats, social content, email content, blogs, company event planning, merchandise buying, branding, etc. We don't have a ton of time to dedicate to social media. So we need software that is efficient, and I feel that Sprout Social has really help me and my team stay on task with our social media stratgies and staying organized with our content. Sprout has helped me solved the organizing of my posts. I like that I can filter and add specific tags to my posts, especially for campaigns or initatives. I can easily find posts of a similar theme or from the same campaign when I tag them, and then see the analytics from those specifically. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social is a user-friendly tool with an easy-to-navigate interface for new users like me. I particularly like to use the scheduling tool to plan monthly posts for all social media accounts in one place. The analytics help me make data-driven decisions. The optimal posting time suggestions are a game-changer for getting increased engagement. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love that they are releasing product features that other competitors have. I like Sprout, so it helps remove the thought of checking out another option at the time of renewal. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

You used to provide the ability for me to share a link to the calendar view externally. This really helped provide insight to my leadership team about what's scheduled and where we have gaps in the social calendar. I only pay for one seat in the platform and we have SSO, so I can't just provide my credentials to someone who wants to see the schedule.

What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Love having a convenient hub for all things social including GMB, Tiktok, Pinterest, Threads, & others. Their Arboretum community is useful for ideas and troubleshooting, and Sprout makes a consistent solid effort to be continually improving/optimizing their site. Their reporting features are robust & easy to use. They have cool AI integrated features like auto captioning for alt-text which, admittedly can be hit or miss on accuracy, but more often than not it's helpful. Love the tagging system for reporting. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

There are a few downsides, including lack of Instagram story data for reporting, although some of that may have to do with Instagram API. Would love ability to track link clicks on stories through sprout. Sometimes there are glitches which can be annoying, but their support team is very responsive. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really like it's scheduler for posts. It leaves some room for improvement, but overall it is easy to see what we have going out and when. I also like the reports it offers and the ease of use on my mobile device when not at my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The social listening tool is a bit tricky. I haven't quite mastered it and it is confusing. I don't like that you have to pay for each topic individually. It would be nice to have a bundle feature like 1, 2-5, 5 or more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I've been using Sprout social for social media at my job for almost two years. In those two years, I've found the ease of use to be the thing about Sprout that makes logging in to be something I get excited about. Creating social posts to schedule out is quick and with as much as we use Sprout for social posts, it's also been interesting to explore the social listening tool for brand reputation and management. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I don't personally have anything that I dislike about using Sprout because this is the first social platform I've used in my career, so I don't have anything to compare it to negatively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sprout Social solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sprout is great at helping the credit union I work for listen in for where we're mentioned on the web. I think this is a major benefit that has helped us as social media managers, as we've been preparing to merge with another credit union that is much larger than us.
