Sprout has made social media easier than ever before. From scheduling posts to making sure the right pages are tagged and collaborators are included, everything is easier with Sprout. On top of their ease of use, the program often recognizes bugs before we do -- and we're on social media 24/7! They are usually quick to resolve issues between networks and the platform. The platform was also easy to learn. Our whole team switched over to Sprout at once, and even with everything being brand new, we were able to learn the platform quickly and without incident. If we did have questions, they were answered by our rep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there is very little I dislike about Sprout. The platform has a few glitches here and there with the occasional failed post, but it is otherwise a fantastic product. Ai prompts could use a little work, but they are still incredibly helpful in their current form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout Social is built with Social Media Managers in mind. Sprout is constanstly evolving to more innovative. Planning and data analysis is made easy. I am a one person team for social which means I need to make sure I make the most out of my time at work and I use Sprout Monday-Friday. I am able to streamline processes using features like SproutLink in bio, being able to toggle a single post across different platforms and AI Alt text generator. The arb has been very powerful networking tool and a way to find information easily. The webinars made avaliable have helped me step my game up. The implementation process was easy and very informative. The customer suppport team has been phenomanl reaching out to ensure the program is working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not being able to utlize trending sounds available on each platform prior to posting or being able to use stickers, polls, quizzes, and links for stories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate the tagging and campaign functionality so I can create reports for our various educational programs, conferences, and marketing campaigns. It's easy to see how our posts and platforms perform at a glance... and that saves me time when sharing with my colleagues. I cannot imagine running social media campaigns without Sprout Social. The reports have been critical for demonstrating impact to our sponsors and key stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not able to see posts from more than one year ago, which is unfortunate. There are evergreen posts (such as for federal holidays) that I would like to duplicate and modify (rather than starting fresh) to save me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used Sprout Social for two years as my social media management and listening tool for my university. The platform is extremely intuitive and user friendly. The publishing feature allows me to schedule posts in advance easily across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Threads, and TikTok. The listening feature allows me to track what's being said about my university in an unparalleled way. The reporting feature allows me to collect and share data with my administration easily. I use Sprout every single day, multiple times a day. My Sprout rep has done a fantastic job supporting our needs and is always proactive about fixing issues before they happen. To be perfectly honest, the only downside of Sprout Social is the cost. If your budget allows it, I would reccomend Sprout. But be aware that they will raise your rates by about 7% each year. Because of this, my university has had to cut our contract with Sprout after the 2024-25 fiscal year. We've contracted with them for more than a decade, but as the rates have continually risen, we are no longer able to afford the cost of $25,000+ per year for their services. Sprout makes it easy for teams to collaborate, and for me to have a central hub for all of the accounts and brands that I manage. The scheduling and calendar tool make my day-to-day life a lot easier, and the reporting is very insightful. I'm also quick off the jump whenever there's something a question or request that I need to respond to ASAP. The Employee Advocacy tool has greatly improved our organic social results. I love that they added LinkedIn user tagging (in additiona to company tagging), but I feel like it's still pretty glitchy. Often times I'm still unable to tag individuals in posts so I end up manually doing LinkedIn posts instead of scheduling on Sprout. We can also no longer tag company LinkedIn accounts on the Advocacy tool even though we used to be able to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout Social's reporting features are a real game-changer for our agency. The platform delivers incredibly detailed social media insights that help us track and demonstrate our performance effectively.
What we love most is how easy it is to dive deep into the data without getting lost in complexity. The dashboards are clean and intuitive, breaking down engagement metrics, audience growth, and content performance in a way that tells a clear story. Instead of drowning in numbers, we can quickly pull out meaningful narratives about our social media strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our biggest gripes are around cost and complexity. It's expensive, especially when you're trying to scale and add more team members or social profiles. The platform can feel overwhelming - there are so many features that it takes real time to train new team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love about Sprout Social is its intuitive post scheduling and comprehensive reporting capabilities. I appreciate how I am able to post across multiple accounts seamlessly. The reporting tools provide helpful insights into social media performance, allowing me to track engagement and analyze trends.
Thankfully I haven't had to access customer support but I am confident that should I need to they'll be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the social listening feature was free (again) rather than a premium feature. However, when I did have access to the feature, I could only do this on our Twitter/X account. This forced me to access our Facebook and LinkedIn account separately to accomplish this task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Sprout in a number of roles, it's a solid SMM platfrom with many good features.
We probably only use a tenth of the capabilities, but what we do use is reliable, intuitive and easy.
Sprout Social covers the core things you need in an SMM - publishing, reporting, listening and community management - without drama. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI post drafting in Sprout is limited, should be able to tell it which platform you want posts written for, how long, tone, etc etc. Easier/better to build a GPT to draft social content.
Also, not being able to how a post wil look across multiple channels is disappointing, although this is being rectified in the near future apparently.
Also, Sprout Advocacy (employee advocacy add-on) is starting to feel really dated. It's great to have one platfrom to manage organic social and employee advocacy, but Advocacy feels like a bolted in product from an aquisitions (which it was Bambu). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout Social is incredibly user-friendly and provides a seamless way to manage all my social media accounts in one place. The analytics tools are top-notch, offering detailed insights that help refine our strategy and measure success. I also love the scheduling feature, which saves so much time and ensures consistent posting across platforms. The customer support team is responsive and helpful whenever I have questions. Overall, it’s a powerful tool for any social media manager Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I don't have any dislikes! Sprout Social has been a great tool that works smoothly for my needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout allows scheduling a social media post on multiple channels and on multiple days. This adds countless hours back into my day, greatly increasing productivity in my department. The analytics reporting is very valuable in my work as well, so I can easily see what resonates with followers.
The UI of Sprout is also very comfortable to use. There are some areas I haven't had the chance to use or I haven't felt are necessary for me, but overall it isn't hard to pick up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI generative prompts are helpful, however, improvements should be made so a more diverse vocabulary is used in the caption creation. Every time I generate a new caption, there are usually the same upbeat phrases used. I would just like to see some advancement in this portion of the program. I wouldn't say I dislike it. It is helpful at times when I need a new caption. It just gets repetitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
