Having everything regarding our social media management in one place is a total game changer for our small agency. As the creative director, I'm able to oversee all of our different clients, posts, messages, reviews, etc. in one place and make efficient edits if needed. It was extremely easy to onboard our team, and implement the process into our day-to-day workflow. We use the platform daily, and it was easy to integrate with our client's needs and processes.
Obviously the Support team is helpful in resolving issues, but I've really enjoyed how they always follow through to make sure the resolution worked for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"Need Approval" posts expiring, having to reselect the accounts you want to post from when you duplicate a post, not being able to share stories to Facebook Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout social is easy to use and makes quick work of posting on social platforms. I like the option to use the queue to fill gaps in your publishing schedule. I also like the ability to see all comments and messages to inboxes across platforms. It really is a one stop shop and no need for additional products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't a whole lot not to like to be honest. The one thing I find tricky is having to save posts as draft to be able to tag or add photos for specified channels like instagram. Now that I have been using it for awhile, this has become easier to manage throught the 'duplicate and schedule' setting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Sprout Social primarily for social media analytics and reporting, and it has proven to be an invaluable tool. One of my favorite features is the ability to create custom reports tailored to our specific needs, which can be easily shared with colleagues and partners, even if they don't have access to Sprout. The technical support is consistently responsive, ensuring any issues are quickly resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration of new platforms, such as Bluesky, could be faster. Additionally, the social listening feature is not always optimal for my industry (travel), as many sources are private, limiting its usefulness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout is really easy to use, which is essential for us as 90% of our users on Sprout are not social media experts, but members of staff who support with social media at their location alongside their full time role.
The Central Social team find the Smart Inbox a really useful tool for time saving, and with the addition of cases it's easy to pass certain messages over to other teams - which has significantly helped with our customer service.
As a team, we use Sprout daily to answer messages, create posts, approve posts from staff in branch. It's a tool we could not be without now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting features up often takes a long time as there isn't a way to bulk create approval workflows, groups, and such which means that setting these features up takes a long time - but once set up they're a time saver for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the scheduling features, as they allow me to easily organize my time and manage appointments. Additionally, the analytic tracking features are incredibly valuable; they provide insights into my activities and performance, helping me make data-driven decisions to improve productivity. I have some concerns regarding the approval process features; I find them quite challenging to navigate and use effectively. It would be immensely helpful if the interface could be made more user-friendly and if clearer instructions were available. Furthermore, I think it would significantly enhance user experience if there were additional options for scheduling carousel posts on TikTok. Having more flexibility in this area would allow for better content planning and engagement with our audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of scheduling content across multiple platforms on Sprout Social. In the calendar view, I can plan out my next month using notes which makes it super simple when I go in to schedule out content. The ability to connect SproutLink in Bio for Instagram makes sharing links across that platform quick and easy.
I also love the social inbox feature. Through the social inbox, I can interact with and respond to comments and messages. I can also easily block spammers, hide comments when necessary, and assign comments or messages to a co-worker or client to respond. I use this function every day, multiple times a day. I would like if the Google Analytics feature was simpler to use. I also wish I could create different captions based on platform without having to create or duplicate and schedule an additional post. That would be helpful for platforms that have stricter character limits like X or Threads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Sprout makes it easy to create a content calendar and manage it throughout the month. It's super easy to create social posts and schedule them out in one place, and I love the ability to check statistics. I'm a fan of the newer feature of Sprout letting you know a "hot engagement rate" in the calendar view as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I guess my one qualm is that I wish it was easier to schedule different posts across platforms. It can be tedious work when setting up posts for the month and having to schedule + duplicate everything if you have to tag people in posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Sprout every single day at my job. I am responsible for reading and responding to all messages across all of the social channels of the company I work for. Having almost all of those messages coming into one inbox where I can easily respond to people and tag/track relative data from those messages is amazing. I have used other platforms in the past for similar jobs and nothing makes it as easy as Sprout does. I also love the listening feature and all of the automated rules you can set up to make managing message volume even easier.
Our Account Manager is fantastic and always provides us with the support we need. I've had many wonderful experiences with their customer support team as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike is that there are some messages I can't respond to / track in Sprout (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube) but that's not really Sprout's fault. It's more of an API issue. The mobile app isn't as robust as I would like, but I'm sure they will continue to improve it with time. I also wish there was a better way to track sentiment within Sprout. Their current solution is not very good.
Their social listening portion is lacking in a lot of ways, but it does the basics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most about Sprout is how easy and intuitive it is to use. In the campaigns section, I appreciate that you can add a description of what the campaign is about, ensuring you always have the necessary information to organize your posts. I love the AI assistant that provides caption options for posts and the suggested posting times are very accurate. Additionally, Sprout offers very useful analytics to help us determine if our content is on the right track or if adjustments are needed.
I also appreciated the onboarding process we received at the beginning; the team was very friendly, patient, and provided all the necessary information to get started with the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t schedule PDFs for LinkedIn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to navigate, ut I love the listening and reporting side of it. The graphs and how easy it is to build reports are really amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Absolutely nothing. Sprout always has an upgrade and the team (Kelsey Wallace-Beer, Maddison Materson, and Schuyler Wuerth) always look for ways to facilitate our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
