it could be a little slow sometimes especially if multiple people is using it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social has all of the social media tools you need in one place. It makes scheduling content easy, keeping track of inbox messages efficient, and implementing an employee advocacy strategy with your company flawless. It works great for our team! We use this tool every day!
The customer support has been fantastic too. Our customer rep is always one email away and gets back to us with answers fast. We found this tool easy to integrate into our every day working lives! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social is a pricey investment, so it truly depends from company to company if this is a tool you can afford to implement into your strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social provides a centralised view of all our social media channels, making it far easier to monitor and manage multiple platforms at once. The scheduling tools support planning content further in advance, ensuring that we have a clear overview of our upcoming posts.
The interface is very user-friendly, and the available reports, while basic, still offer a useful snapshot of how our content is performing.
Adding to that, the customer support and documentation are extremely helpful, enabling a smaller team like ours to onboard easily and maximise what Sprout can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the analytics are straightforward and helpful at a glance, there isn’t much flexibility to customise them or add narrative to the reports - as we are not subscribd to Premium Analytics. Having the option to build our own reports or integrate additional context would enhance decision-making and better align the platform with our internal reporting needs.
Another improvement would be integrating workflow or ideation tools so we wouldn’t need to rely on a separate Kanban-style app for planning. Also, it can feel expensive compared to some alternatives, so seeing these kinds of improvements would help justify the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Reports & Publishing tabs have made my work much simpler. Having a one-stop shop to analyze how our various social media pages are doing has proved to be very helpful and informative, which I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There have been multiple times that I have attempted to make a post to one or more of our social media accounts via Sprout Social, but have run into roadblocks such as an image not being compatible with a respective platform - at least that's what Sprout would lead me to believe. When I would go to post those same photos on the apps themselves, I've been able to no problem. If not for this, I would utilize the planned post aspect of Sprout Social much more often. SproutSocial is easy to get started, easy to use, and easy to collaborate with team members. It has tremendously simplified my daily social media management, from scheduling to commenting and approving posts. It's become an essential tool for my job. SproutSocial also has other extras and add-ons that enhance its effectiveness, like optimal posting times, Canva integration, and robust reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally, posts will fail for seemingly no reason or for some integration bug, which can be frustrating, especially when you don't see the failure until much later. Also, the emojis on Sprout Social need to be updated. They're missing quite a few of the new characters I need for some of my posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Sprout every. single. day. Premium analytics are a game changer and I like that they are on top of quickly adding new features when social platforms update.
They seem to really get what users want and need from the product - I like AI assist and the asset library function to make my team quicker.
If we ever have an issue, their team and support is very quick to respond to try to get things resolved. A+. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout is pricey. It's worth the investment for my agency, but it can be hard to recommend to smaller orgs or brands.
I also wish Sprout had customizable reports that could be whitelabeled with a client's colors and branding. I'm often recreating reports from Sprout to fit in with the style of reporting decks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Sprout on a daily basis. It is easy to schedule posts for multiple social accounts and few them all at the same time. I also really enjoy the approval feature to submit posts within a team. When I first started using Sprout I was easily transitioned onto the platform and being able to integrate a new software into my daily routine was key in my success. There isn't anything I would say that is least helpful but there are a few product features I wish Sprout would offer. I would like to be able to upload a whole folder of images on to the grid planner without having to select a date to have them saved as a draft that way I could build my grid and work backwards with scheduling. The analytics and reporting tools are really great and they save so much time compared to gathering data manually. The ease of publishing posts is another great reason to use Sprout. The implementation process was really smooth and we were able to get onbaorded and start using Sprout immediately. I use sprout daily for social media check-in, calendar organization, and for the smart inbox feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The asset library could be improved to upload multiple videos at once. I find that it takes a long time to get video uploaded on there. The social listening tool is so robust that I almost don't know where to start. It is overwhelming and I think more guidance from our customer success rep would get us in the right spot to use it. We have a large following, so consolidating our comments and messages from all platforms into one inbox is incredibly helpful. Additionally, we manage several locations, each with its own social media accounts. Being able to post to all of them from a single platform has saved us a significant amount of time and has helped us maintain consistent messaging across locations. The reporting feature provides an accurate and consistent overview of our performance, making it easy to identify popular content that can be repurposed in various ways. -It's pricey, especially if you want to add multiple users.
-Some features implemented on social platforms take a while to reach SproutSocial, if they do at all, so you still need to be actively using each individual platform.
-Comments on older YouTube videos do not show up in the inbox.
-Reporting is limited when it comes to custom tags, even at the Advanced level. I would expect it to be more robust than it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social has made scheduling social posts so simple and seamless. I love the Insta stories integration and having control over what I add to my stories. I'm also a big fan of having all my companies' social reviews and DMs in one place for responding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I know that social media moves fast and new companies are sprouting up all the time, but it would be great to be able to post to Threads, Bluesky, and TikTok. X is not helping anyone. Of course these might be available and my company hasn't bought the licensing for them yet. Which is why I wish Sprout would change their pricing so all social platforms were included for a company.
