Aside from the great Customer Service, Easiness to use, and Extensive posting capabilities, what I enjoy most about Sprout Social is the Employee Advocacy intergration. Tthousands of dollars I've been able to save my company by utilizing this feature has aided tremendously in sharing company news -- utilizing our employees, the people who believe in our message the strongest! As far as dislikes with Sprout Social, the only thing that comes to mind is the fact that there is no ability to connect a Personal Instagram to Sprout Social Advocacy. Although I believe this is a restriction on Instagram's side, uncontrollable by Sprout, being able to have access to Personal Instagrams on Advocacy would set Sprout aside from all of the other compamnies alike. The publishing feature is superb! It makes scheduling, modifying, deleting, drafting, and moving posts incredible easy--especially for multi-admin use.
I use Sprout every single day and have never had an issue. It was easy to implement, thanks to the wonderful customer service provided for both the primary admin portal and EA usage. And it was incredible easy to integrate it into our day-to-day workflow.
The Employee Advocacy feature has also been a game-changer for our firm. It has helped us increase organic growth and promote LinkedIn usage, which is essential for our seller-doer business model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are lots of feaures we don't use on Sprout. That doens't mean we dislike them. They're just not applicable for our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The realiability and customer service are amongst the most notable benefits of signing up for Sprout. I don't have to worry about accounts getting disconnected or failed posts. If that happens, their support team is so quick to help and get you back on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit of room for improvement in the social listening area. I'd like to be able to add exclusions without having to worry the entire topic will reset and I may lose old data. It's a great feature generally and it picks up lots of useful discussions. Hopefully it will offer even more LinkedIn data in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the scheduling, optimization, social listening, and analytics tools. The latter, especially, are really in depth and very well integrated. I'd highly recommend for better metrical analysis and robust scheduling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a couple features Sprout still can't accomodate that, in specific instances, can be frsutrating. We post a lot of audiograms on IG, but Sprout is unable to read these as anything but reels, and therefore we can't publish carousels of image/audio content.
Likewise, their story scheduling capacity isn't super integrated on IG.
Lastly, as the industry trends this way, it would be great to integrate a "Link in first comments" feature for all platforms, rather than just IG.
Again, all small, but when/if you use such features regularly it can become a nuisance.
Likewise, collaborate editing on a workspace for drafted posts doesn't really exist, so if you expect to have a lot of flow between team members you may need to start somewhere else before moving to Sprout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout offers many excellent features that align well with other content publishing tools, but it truly stands out for the resources it provides to maximize the product's potential. With multiple user seats and workflow approval functionality, it’s ideal for social media specialists to manage content approval across various departments within the organization.
Sprout is also at the forefront of enhancing time efficiency for its users. Recently, they introduced AI-powered tools to assist with content creation, as well as a new ALT text generator to support the creation of accessible content, helping organizations move closer to meeting accessibility standards. I have noticed that sometimes there are more than one way to access certain areas within Sprout (such as the Asset Library) so there are different ways to achieve what you're hoping to do. It's great because it offers shortcuts, but it can complicate the onboarding and learning process if you're new to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social is straightforward to learn and easy to use. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, laying things out visually in a way that is easy to comprehend and understand. You don't have to click around multiple places to get to where you want to go, and the scheduling tool is excellent. You can create a post for various channels at a time or tailor individual messages to each channel. This makes things easier for me in my role by not having to create a duplicate post if the messaging isn't going to be changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, the only downside I've experienced is the inability not to post directly to Instagram. When you have the post scheduled, you get a mobile notification and must go in, copy the text, and manually post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout Social is a helpful tool that has significantly streamlined our social media management. The ability to plan and schedule content across multiple platforms in one place has been a huge time-saver and helps us get a good overview of the content we've been creating. I also appreciate the integration of paid social ads performance data, providing a comprehensive view of our overall social media performance. The Sprout team has been very helpful and proactive, offering valuable insights and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the search functionality for past and planned content a bit challenging find specific posts that use a certain phrase, for example. While the PDF reports are helpful, the layout can be confusing and difficult to navigate. The gaps in the design disrupt the flow of the story of the report and make it harder to extract key insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have 12 channels, and I'm the only team member that manages them all. So the Visual Calendar is extremely easy to use when trying to keep everthing straight and timely! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is so easy! But I do wish that it would show reach for all of our channels simultanesouly. I have to go to our individual channels and look up that number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Sprout Social as a one-stop shop for my company's social media management and reporting. We have been working with their team for the past 3 years and always feel heard on product feedback and advised about platform updates. They also have a great community of users and training available through their platform as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The posting on different platforms is still a bit of a hurdle when it comes to scheduling posts outside of using a CSV bulk upload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its user-friendly interface simplifies scheduling and engagement across platforms, while the robust analytics provide actionable insights to improve strategy. The tagging system is also really easy to use and has made internal workflows and jobs/content management so much easier as I was able to mirror our company's own tagging to sprout. My only "complaint" is that I would love it if it had more LinkedIn analytics and also connections to other social channels such as BlueSky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
