Sprout Social is a user-friendly scheduling platform that permits you to share posts on multiple social media networks. It is well-suited for all sizes of organizations. It is a monitoring and engaging tool that offers a complete outline of the content analysis and has the facility to view month by month, week by week, day by day, etc. It provides a separate analysis of organic and paid metrics. There is no option to post gifs that appears silly in this modern world. At times, the post fails due to the failure of the system. This tool must be free of errors, until and unless there is an outage in another social media network such as Facebook. Sprout must notify about it. It does not allow the users to tag pages in Facebook posts. Drafts do not stay longer if you don’t make a time table for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sprout Social is an incredibly helpful tool for keeping my social media efforts organized and efficient. The calendar view is one of my favorite features—it gives me a clear, visual overview of all scheduled content, making it easy to plan ahead and spot gaps. I also really appreciate the ability to track specific campaigns across platforms, which helps me stay focused and measure what’s working. The reporting functionality is top-notch as well, with easy-to-understand insights that help guide strategy.
Beyond the platform itself, Sprout has been fairly easy to implement. The onboarding process was smooth and well-supported, and their customer support team has been consistently responsive and helpful. The training provided during onboarding was fantastic. Overall, Sprout makes it much easier to manage multiple moving parts in one place, and the support behind the tool is just as strong as the platform itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the most frustrating limitations with Sprout Social is the inability to tag individuals who don’t already follow our LinkedIn page. This creates a gap in functionality. As a workaround, I have to post natively on LinkedIn, tag the appropriate individuals, and then go back into Sprout to manually track or report on it. It disrupts the workflow and defeats part of the purpose of using an all-in-one tool. I hope this functionality is improved soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout social makes it easy for me to see all my company's social posts and user replies in one place. The interface and filtering options make it easy to sort by specific social channels and reply, tag, mark for review ( as needed). I like being able to hide comments /ban users directly from the Sprout dashboard, which helps save time and ensure only appropriate comments are visible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We receive a lot of replies in Spanish and while Sprout Social does have a translate feature, it requires me to manually click "translate to En-US" for each message - which isn't as convenient as it could be. Automatically translating reviews to the preferred language would be a great solution.
Also, the Macros / Automated Rules features are helpful for some use-cases but do not give the option to create automated actions/replies based on rule sets.
Ex: If a user replies to a Post and simply @someone and leaves no written text, there's no way for me to automatically tag/mark those as completed.
If someone asks "How much does it cost?" or "how Does It work?," there's no way to automatically reply to that post using a macro / asset library.
If someone uses profanity, I can create an automated rule to tag it / mark it as completed, but there's no option for me to ban user or delete the message off a social platform.
Lastly, there's no ability to add words/phrases to automated rules from the Smart Inbox/messages. I have to copy the desired text from a message, jump into settings and update the rule each time I want to add another word/phrase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Manual scheduling of publications, switching between platforms and wasting hours on spreadsheets analyzing data was taking too long and we were not efficient. Now with the ease with which one can organize posts across multiple social networks using Sprout Social was the initial element that caught my eye. We can publish on almost all popular sites, and the user interface is very intuitive. Surprisingly, I can schedule content on-demand while you browse the web with the Chrome extension. This has saved me many times when I wanted to quickly share some relevant services or offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great if the analytics were more comprehensive and could compare different campaigns or break down types of content. Because of this, we could improve our strategies and choose better options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social is a powerful tool that makes managing social media seamless. The user-friendly and intuitive interface and robust scheduling features save time, while the in-depth analytics provide valuable insights. I particularly love the feature that allows you to create different versions of the copy and the option to schedule posts at the optimal time to reach the largest audience. Integration with multiple platforms is smooth, and the customer support is swift, responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Social Listening feature could be more robust, as it doesn’t always provide in-depth results. We often have to apply multiple filters to refine the data, which can be time-consuming. Enhancing the depth of insights and improving filtering efficiency would make this tool even more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout Social provides an intuitive dashboard that simplifies scheduling, monitoring, and analysing social media performance. The reporting tools offer useful insights across multiple platforms, and the collaboration features help teams stay organised. It’s a solid choice for businesses managing multiple accounts, with strong automation and engagement tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The standard package has become more limited over time, removing features that were previously included. For the high price, I would expect weekly reports to be available, yet they are not included in the expensive plans. Additionally, the customisation options for reports could be improved, and some platform integrations feel restrictive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how Sprout is essentially a one stop shop. We're able to meet our social media scheduling and listening needs as well as integrate our customer service strategy. It has helped streamline many processes for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout does provide connectivity to many social accounts. As we are growing and getting bigger it is becoming limiting in the number of accounts we can connect to. Especially with the social listening, I wish there was room for more categories, keywords, etc. to track at one time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease and features available in scheduling make Sprout one of my favorite social tools I've used as a marketer. Approval flows are easy and allow for direct, simple feedback throughout the chain which speeds up the scheduling process for both myself and those approving. The initial implementation and onboarding process was very smooth as well. Although I have not used it, customer support appears to be ample and instantaneous. I look forward to building more reports and diving into the analytical features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A few things are missing, such as the ability to monitor competitors through LinkedIn, an important platform for us as a B2B company. Currently, Sprout only allows us to track via Instagram or Facebook, which limits our landscape understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprout is very helpful for combining multiple accounts and platforms. It's nice that you can schedule to post one or multiple channels and I love that it gives you a preview of each. I also love that you can pull in directly from Canva without having to switch between software. I also really like their reporting, but don't have access to the full use of it. A lot of the features are limited behind a paywall so I'm not able to experience the full use of the platform, but that's a standard to be expected nowadays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We mainly use it for social media reporting and tracking competitors. I think the reporting function is pretty comprehensive, giving us visibility on a wide range of data that we need to provide for our client on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. You can build out what data you want to see in your report and take away anything you don't want to include, which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it's not as intuitive in user experience as it could be, especially in reporting. Custom reports are now defunct but that section still lives, and finding/creating new reports has been confusing. When I have a report labeled "[MONTH] Monthly Report" I will click on it and it will still show whatever stat date range I have currently highlighted, which is not always that month that I have it labeled as. I just think there are a lot of ways to streamline saving reports that still live on Sprout Social and being able to access past stats without having to keep updating the date range. My favorite part of Sprout is that, as a social media manager who runs socials completely by myself, I need to have a great plan for the week and Sprout makes that so easy. I love that everything I need to do my job is in one spot! Not only was it easy to get started with Sprout, the team there made everything so simple with all of the help that they gave. They made sure to tailor their focuses onto what I would need for daily use. They helped me set everything up and made it seamless for me to transfer my assets and social accounts onto their platform. Sprout has become a part of my everyday routine at this point! I don't think I'd be able to work without it at this point! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downsides that I have experienced with Sprout are the features that are app specific. Things like stickers, in-app features, and linking to capcut on TikTok would be great to have but because of the limitations, its virtually impossible. However, besides these features, Sprout has everything that I have ever wanted! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
