From the front of house to the back end of operations, SpotOn is seamless, efficient and amazing. Starting with the back of the house, everything is rather simple and self-explanatory which makes it super-efficient and user friendly. I love the live updates and the quickness of changes. The real time updates and how easy they make it allow you to have smooth operations even on a busy Friday night. All the reporting is amazing and provides so much knowledge whether it is from a large overview or getting into the fine details, it’s all right there. In addition, the capabilities of having the SpotOn apps so I can see information and sales in real time is a nice touch. Adding new items or employees has never been so easy.
The installation team was excellent! They stayed for two entire days and worked with my staff and trained all of us and fixed issues on the fly. Great way to set the tone early of how SpotOn is here to help!
In the front of the house the POS system has a very clean look, good style and overall nice presentation. It looks the part and functions even better than it looks. The design of the screen is perfect. It is very easy to read, touch and use! The button layout is great and makes my service staff very happy knowing we can basically change anything we want to make the computers easier to use and more efficient for ringing in orders, etc. In terms of processing and speeds, the computers are very quick and save lots of time for my staff.
The KDS system. We were all nervous to try this out but after one week of getting used to it... I would never change back. Such a flawless system and has made our cook times go down in turn, increasing guest satisfaction!
Lastly, SpotOn support. This was a huge factor in making the switch because you call in, you speak to a human in minutes or sometimes less than a minute and 9/10 times your problem is solved very quickly so you can get back to running your restaurant. SpotOn support is always avilable and when they say they will call you back, they actually do. Time to time, they even call a few days after to ensure the problem is still fixed.

Not a whole lot! We have had a few issues with install, reporting, KDS stuff but they always get fixed.
Sometimes I have been on hold for longer than I like but that is more rare.
If a server does not enter a receipt and we find that out the next day, it takes a while for the money to get into my account. On the flip side when I need to issue a refund a day or so later, it takes longer than expected for the customer to get their money back! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using SpotOn for over a year now, and the customer service is excellent and timely. There's always a response back (either by phone or email) within 24 hours. Also, I adore the ease around the loyalty feature, getting guests to sign up for it, and then using that native list to use the SpotOn marketing features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love data, and I dearly wish that there were some more robust features in data mining and then centralizing multiple restaurants' data into one entity--that would be a boon for franchisees who own multiple locations and rely on centralized information to make long-term, startegic decisions. First time working with Reservation company, I don't know what to compare it to. The P.O.S. system is okay. I have worked with Aloha, Toast, and Square over the past 12 years of owning restaurants in San Francisco and Oakland. But, the biggest asset is the team that come with the account. We love Natala and her associates assigned to our restaurant. They work very hard and are passionate. They are so knowledgeable and flexible. I am a new business owner and Spoton was already setup as the POS System. Jessica ans Jon from the Restaurant Success team have provided valuable insights on menu, pricing and User experience for both front and back of house. Additionally, the reporting was redesigned and allows us to closely monitor trends. I highly recommend spoton! The only comment is to expand the restaurant success yea to weekends and have each restaurant assigned to a rep. This allows relationship building and trust, driving profits. Weekends could be covered by restaurant success rather than an overseas call center. At times, errors were made to menu but calling the main number. That is my only feedback as well as dedicated rep for each business with a backup contact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer support and local attention has been great. It was an easy install with hands on training. Any requests or support that is needed is taken care of quickly. There is so much relevent information available through Spot on Reports and resources that helps with our profitability.
