The thing I like most about Spot On and the platform is the ability to connect with someone if there are questions and concerns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that I did not like about Spot On is the actual hardware that I received at first, but that was because I didn't understand it. I'm looking to upgrade sometime soon and when I do, my business will be unstoppable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to reconcile my fees, batch amount, and deposits. Super simple interface, and I don't feel like I am pulling my hair out to get the information I am looking for. I love the reoccurring payment option on their website too. So easy to set up payments for customers, along with manually running a card if we need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The terminal. I received 2 handheld terminals and then asked for a hard-wired terminal. Any glitches in the internet connection and the wired one would go down. Also, it took forever to process the payment, sometimes timing out multiple times before it would go through. Troubleshooting techs just blamed the internet. However, the handhelds always worked without issue. The issue with handheld devices is if they die, they do not batch out. They don't last more than a day without needing to be charged. Products offered, Easy layout, the finance reports are great. The detailed graph which showes the busy times of the day is a huge help to my employee scheduling Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loyalty program difficulty. Campaigns should have examples to go by . It's difficult to do without guides to give you an example of the products your trying to utilize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There can be a learning curve when learning the backend functionality. This is especially true when you are transferring POS systems. The logic and simplicity of the system makes it remarkably easy to use but it can also lead to second guesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy to use the platform is. I have the Bluetooth card reader that I have rarely had any issues with, and it works great. I am on the go a lot so this card reader does a great job at keeping up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface on the app, as far as tracking sales, can be a little confusing at first. It's not the easiest to navigate when first starting. Once you get the hang of it, though, you learn how to find things more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Refunding is such a massive hassle that it almost makes the entire system not worth it. Waiting on hold forever to get an agent, and then the multiple days for the refund to go through.
