General support line goes through a process each time you call that takes a few minutes they need to streamline this and i know they working on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SpotOn solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are constantly updating/improving and adding products. For example they recently partnered wiht a Kiosk company and now offer that option which has been great for my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SpotOn?

I love that they are configured to work with so many other platforms, like Teamwork and Reserve! I also love that I can see in real time the hourly sales and labor spend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SpotOn?

Not practical! Difficult to use. The back office is one of the worst I have seen. Seems that the system was created by somone who is not famliar with the hospitality industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SpotOn?

As a business who collects tips from our happy customers for our staff it is one of the only systems we could find that allows this procedure. We also love the "points" feature that rewards customers for spending their hard earned money with us. We recommend Spot On for small businesses - it's great. What do you dislike about SpotOn?

Typing in the amount can sometimes lead to manual mistakes. Also the terminal itself is slightly akward for putting in a credit/debit card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SpotOn?

What do you dislike about SpotOn?

The PoS was basic as they come and crashed frequently. The rates are ridiculous compared to others.

After calling to cancel, I missed another call the next day from then. I was going back to my original processor.

That ended up with me not cancelling my account, and proceeded with months of extra charges for a service I wasn't using.

It tools another round of phone calls to make sure everything was canceled, and I still owed 2 months of payments due to the shady policies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SpotOn solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's the most basic payment processor on the market. There isn't anything it does that's beneficial.

Quickbooks payment processor is arguable better and tied in with the rest of my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SpotOn?

The SpotOn POS system is super simple to use. The handheld device accepts every type of payment, prints receipts, has a handy built-in calculator, and makes it easy to issue refunds. The credit card transaction fee is very small, and is paid by the customer instead of me. My agent is very personable and helpful, and even replaced the machine for us, same day, when the little door wouldn't close properly after we dropped it. He showed me how to use the device to perform various functions, and answered all of our questions. We love the equipment, the customer service, and the low cost, but the best part is how easy it is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
