When all the other remote assistance services doubled, tripled, quadrupled their prices a few years back, I had found Splashtop in a review article - very affordable, and remains affordable - I use this for unattended remote access at one of our satellite offices - also, during the pandemic, the SOS on-demand remote assistance was invaluable in assisting users with remote setup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, nothing I can think of - UI is responsive, reliable, robust Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love having or giving access to anyone in the organization access into a machine to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't particularly appreciate having to download a new code every time there is an issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) The ability for multiple techs to login to the same computer at the same time
2) The desktop and mobile UI
3) Ease of setup on a new computer for both remote access and SOS
4) Ability to see computer information without login Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) The different plans can be confusing at first - but after talking to customer service, everything was made clear.
2) Clipboard sharing sometimes does not enagage automatically Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I just was talking to a fellow IT dude about my experience with SOS and the potential of other Splashtop software. I would hands down choose to pay again for Splashtop products over the other competitors. I have tried about every remote support solution out there, but this fits perfectly with my workflow and my clients love it too.
Good stuff Splashtop! Happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform and app has really grown on me. Nothing to mention here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use remote access at a great price. I’m able to assist local and remote users from wherever I’m at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I have liked everything-can’t find anything I don’t like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The quick connection - I've never had an issue connecting with any my clients and I have clients all over the country on various Windows operating systems from XPSP2 forward. 2. Another feature that makes me extremely happy is that I can copy something from my pc and simply paste it on to the remote pc and vice versa rather than having to use a transfer function. Splashtop actually does have a transfer function but I have not the best of luck using it - it's probably me - but the copy and paste feature is so easy I don't even bother with the transfer function anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fixed pricing of the SOS Unlimited plan really helps me control my cost for doing remote service for my client's machines. I previously used a service that priced per client machine [with the remote host installed] and the costs there were prohibitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One area where Splashtop SOS could be improved would be to put more direct control of their BitDefender antivirus in the hands of the user by the web interface. For example, if I want to add an exclusion for a particular client's AV scanning I have to ask the Splashtop tech support to add the exclusion for me. I could more productively do it myself. Splashtop SOS is a fantastic product with a very low entry for the end user.
The automatic deployment for end users is great and linkin it with a forwarder makes it brandable.
With the new functionality for branding and signing the app from the web it just became even better.
I has all functionality for all different devices for 1 great price compared to the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only disadvantages i have found is that it takes like 10 seconds before the SOS code appears. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the speed of the connections, the ease of deployment, and the value received for the price paid. I switched from T***Viewer and am not looking back at all. One of the best things about the product is the iOS app and the ability to remotely connect to iOS devices to provide help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything that I dislike. I'm looking forward to using the product as it improves over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
