**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There is not much to dislike about Splashtop SOS

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve mostly Windows 10 problems for my break and fix customers. My former product was slow and my customers often had to wait either for the download at the client or for my platform to log in. The speed of the Splashtop SOS platform is fantastic.

  ### 4. Splashtop is great, not only for tech support but also for working together, remotely.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason A. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

Splashtop is easy to use once set up, people just need to click a desktop icon and give a 9-digit number to connect.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Getting non-tech savvy people to install the Splashtop app on their computers or phones can take some time. Once it's installed, everything is great!

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop to work remotely on projects with others, train others, and also to provide support. It's great that Splashtop has clients not only for desktops/laptops but for phones as well.

  ### 5. Used Splashtop over a year

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Easy to select target computer from the client application.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Does not allow manual management of the credit card details, nor does it have provision for manual (that is non-automatic) renewal. They get confused between US$ and UK£ billing and payments.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We support hundreds of clients' computers, workstations, laptops and servers. That is our business. The Splashtop SOS also comes in handy for clients using their home PC's.

Splashtop is the cheapest, best customer service, and simplest form of remote application in the market. Most other similar ones are either too expensive, lags upon connection, or minimal customer support.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like it all so far. Do not have dislike.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When my clients have limited computer knowledge, it helps me to guide them on how to get their tax documents to me via download and upload to my company portal.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

First off, I love how easy the platform is to use. We've been using this for over a year and we've never had any issues. Secondly, it's super secure, which is a necessity in today's world.

There's not much I dislike about this product.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Splashtop to assist clients when they need someone to remotely access their computers.

  ### 9. great product at an amazing price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** dan y. | IT manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

  ### 10. Better than expected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig V. | Owner/Chief Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

the quality of the software and service has been outstanding

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

remote printing on a Mac requires additional software

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

dozens of employees able to work remotely. having both unattended AND on demand capabilities.

  ### 11. Reliable Solution to offering remote support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vern W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The ability to log into a remote session with elevated account privileges is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There's no way t use it to support Chromebooks

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

At the moment, as long as you are managing or supporting only Windows and OSX based devices, then SOS Support is a great tool. If you are managing a great deal of Chrome based devices (Chromebooks) then you'll probably need to look elsewhere until Splashtop adds in functionality for that type of device

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many different problems, everything to helping users adjust settings within their own Splashtop clients, to looking at email inbox issues. Just about any type of support question that I would normally get, but now can not address in person.

  ### 12. Outstanding on-demand remote support client with a very acceptable price.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glen O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Lightweight, takes a few seconds to download and install, works on multiple platforms, simple to download and run for any level of user. Works flawlessly with multiple monitors, passes through keyboard shortcuts without hiccups. Far fewer steps for both the user and the admin than anything from the other three big players in the remote support world (we've used Bomgar, TeamViewer and LogMeIn in the past -- all three are overpriced and under-performing).

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

It doesn't fix problems for me, I actually have to do the work myself assisting coworkers!

Lack of AI?! 1995 promised me AI by 2020!
(And flying cars, but that's a little out of Splashtop's realm.)

- Does not automatically resume from a manually directed reboot, wish it had that option.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CUF, PEBKAC, and ID-10T errors are what I'm mostly solving, but it's made fixing a user issue quickly anytime anywhere really simple and quick. The benefits are being able to resolve issues on Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile users regardless of my location OR the person I am helping's location. The other big benefit is it's 1/5th to 1/10th the cost of the next closest comparable product from 3 or 4 other vendors.

  ### 13. Reliable and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Information Technology Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The cost of this product is what guided me to try Splashtop. After using Splashtop, I was sold on the price and how easy it was to set up and use not only for myself but for my customers.

I compared some of the other competitors. Some of their setups were more involved in the beginning and this wouldn't be easy for some of my non-technical customers.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The only feedback would be when you remote into a computer and if we can make the background go black to increase performance. Some users have a very high detail background when your RDP using Splashtop and this can slow down mouse movement and refresh rate.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past with other applications it took more than 15 mins or longer to have a customer install the application and have it working so I can remote in as I am giving them directions over the phone.

With SPaldhtop I just give them the URL and 99percent of the time the user is able to run the Splashtop install under 5 mins.

  ### 14. Splashtop has been excellent; reliable, quick and easy to setup and use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stu L. | Senior Manager, IT and Finance + Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Easy setup and the ability to quickly get remote clients connected. It has been reliable and easy to work with and I haven't run into any problems yet. It makes it easy to provide remote support to staff and much easier for them to setup than our previous methods. Also, the price is outstanding for the benefits that you get.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

No complaints at this time. Everything works great and I've had zero problems

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

If you are looking at a reasonably priced support on demand solution, Splashtop provides one of the best options for the price around

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As staff is exclusively working at home now, I've been able to support 50 remote workers without a problem. I can easily gain access to their computers and it is easy for them to download and setup. Issues that used to take an hour to deal with as it was problematic just getting a remote connection now take a fraction of the time - and staff love it because I can jump on and just take care of issues rather than having to walk them through it over the phone.

  ### 15. Remote Support Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like the functions available for access to take care of iphone or andriod devices.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There is nothing at the moment that I dislike

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are taking care of Remote Support of devices when there are outside of our network, or they are mobile devices.

  ### 16. Comprehensive Remote Support tool with reasonable pricing and good support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian F. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The Splashtop streamer (remote client) is easy to add into a provisioning package, with group assignment baked into the MSI file at download. With many users and groups, having the access control in the installer is just the right way to do it. Moving machine assignments after the fact is no problem, but getting it right the first time is important. If performance wasn't really good, none of this would matter, so getting all the basics done well is the minimum. Splashtop is so good, several of my engineers have purchased Splashtop Personal for access to their home machines! Multiple user access is also a big help for support in complicated situations.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

It's an irritant that a pre-deployment name (%MACHINE%_001, %MACHINE%_002) gets stuck in the console and does not update with the machine name as deployed (FIELD_M_07 for a notebook out in the field). It's not a big deal but requires eventual cleanup. Having the logged in user's identity as a searchable value makes it JUST an irritant. The other thing is teaching support folks to switch between remote monitors rather than have them all crammed into one screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Identify your use cases, whether you need a few simultaneous admins supporting many computers -OR- do you need a many-to-many relationship. For us, as we use it across several different divisions in addition to Information Technology, licensing by device made great sense compared to licensing by administrator. Splashtop has all the bases covered, and they will help you figure out what the best fit for you is as part of your evaluation.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We originally purchased Splashtop to support computers staged at customer sites for our two Controls groups. They need unattended access for managing the HVAC and industrial controls systems in a secure manner. I wouldn't let them continue using "free" versions of competing software, as it violated the licensing and they were having constant troubles with the connections and transferring large configuration files. Splashtop worked VERY well in comparison to a competing product we were using for internal support. We re-evaluated our helpdesk use case and upped our licensing for Splashtop, so it is part of the standard configuration for workstations and notebooks going out to the field or to remote offices and jobsites. Since the start of the COVID-19 WFH directives, the investment in Splashtop is a HUGE success, we have had very few issues that can't be resolved with a Splashtop session and a phone call.

  ### 17. All the features, lower price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Senior Security and Delivery Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

We’ve tried LogMeIn Rescue and TeamViewer for the last 2 years...both great tools for technicians, but when it came to needing to give masses of users easy remote access to different resources with almost no deployment time...Splashtop wins in with users.

Oh, and 50 business licenses cost as much as 3 TeamViewer seats, so it’s a cost savings no-brainer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There seems to be a small problem with computers using nVidia drivers and SLI/nVidia Link. This is a corner case though, and shouldn’t generally be considered an issue. The trial is also limited to 2 users, so testing for adoption is tough.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re giving newly remote workers access to company resources during COVID-19.

A) we got a much more user-friendly GUI; B) we saved so much money it’s almost laughable; C) deployment was incredibly simple. It’s near 0, just ridiculously simple. We’re deploying verity MSI via Intune and Active Directory.

  ### 18. Works well and is much cheaper than competitors.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Price is competitive. I'm a small single operator and can't afford the other big name remote software.
Works just as well as other well known brands.
Can transfer files etc in the app.
Relatively simple and small file for clients to download and run.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Having to talk clients through downloading and running the app can sometimes be frustrating, but that is more of an end user issue...
Had one issue with a client that couldn't run the client software as Administrator, so I was reliant on them to stay in front of the PC to accept all the UAC prompts.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During Covid-19 I am trying to do remote IT support for clients where practical, and this gives me a simple tool to be able to provide it.

  ### 19. Great for working remotely and for IT support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori B. | IT/Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like that I am easily able to log into my computer from home. It is also nice that you can restart your computer and still log back into it. With some of the other remote log in sites, I have used in the past, if your computer restarted someone would have to start the remote program back up. I work in the IT department so it is also nice because we have it set up on other computers through the office. This allows me to see what is happening on their computer without having to go to their computer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I wish it was easier to see each of your monitors and that it would tell you which monitor you opened your document or folder. You have to click a dropdown at the top to switch between your monitors. If you have it show all your monitors at once the font is extremely small.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

If you are looking for a remote support program I would recommend Splashtop.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to log in remotely and being able to do IT support.

  ### 20. Super easy remote assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The application is easy for my associates to launch, remote desktop quality is good, it clearly indicates to the user when an assistant is logged on. The application allows me to log on with Administrator credentials while I am viewing the user's desktop. It has the ability to switch screens and a variety of other tools are conveniently located. And of course, it is reasonably priced.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There are several different pricing models based on the capabilities needed, that's a bit confusing.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to remotely assist users who are working from home, even before they are logged on to a remote desktop session, this became absolutely critical during the Pandemic, and we expect that a high percentage of users will continue to work from home in the future.

  ### 21. Great Support Product at an attractive Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn H. | Elite Business Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

It is very easy to connect with clients.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There are limitations on unattended sessions.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

This was incredibly easy to deploy and has all the features I need to quickly support my clients. It has scalability and stability. It is such a cost-effective solution and I really was amazed that is allowed connection and unattended remote access on older operating systems. I also really like that we share the "SOS" name. My clients enjoy that aspect as well.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing access to older operating systems

  ### 22. Very good replacement for Logmein or Techinline!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Don B. | VoIP Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Great support team and pricing is fair and guaranteed not go up yearly like other vendors are doing.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Flipping and sharing your desktop is not intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Use their free two week trial and test for yourself!

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support for both PC, MAC and mobile now doable!

  ### 23. Inexpensive, fast, and great staff/support behind it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Splashtop creates stable, fast connections with even the slowest of my organization's connections and hardware. The price is a true value, especially when compared to the rest of the market. The support has been fast, helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant so far!

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Right now I have an intermittent issue with new installations where switching users will disable Splashtop. It doesn't seem to be a widespread issue and I'm working with Splashtop support to try and isolate what's occurring. They have been phenomenal through the support process and very patient with me.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

I was hesitant because there are quite a few vendors out there offering remote services, but Splashtop has been excellent to work with and I don't regret my decision. If you're still on Logmein, just do it--swap to Splashtop and don't look back.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have sites up and down the east coast and through the middle states that I cannot physically support. With splashtop, I have been able to single-handedly support all of these sites, doing remote office installations and providing fast assistance/correction throughout the small office environments.

  ### 24. Rock solid and reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pat D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Always works, easy to implement and I love that I can have unlimited computers set up.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The On-Demand support still requires permissions for the client side to address before I can connect. I realize that this is not entirely on Splashtop but something more helpful would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Easy especially for one-off logins

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting to clients to provide remote support is the main goal for me.

  ### 25. I love using Splashtop to support my clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bayne S. | Owner/Lead Technical Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Splashtop is simple to use, inexpensive and full featured. During the pandemic and health risks, it has become an integral part of my work day.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I am completely happy with Splashtop. Some users found it difficult to install, but after creating a webpage walking them through the installation steps, the issues have ceased.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Give Splashtop a try. Use the free trial. Connect to your computers at home and you will find value.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an on-site and remote support company. I can remove malware/viruses, give tutorials and instruct as well as perform installations using Splashtop.

  ### 26. Lightweight and feature rich solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piet Z. | Senior Consulting Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The Splashtop Business Windows App. is amazing. You can manage most of the features directly from the App. Simply right click and manage.
Integrating Bitdefender Antivirus is smart and super easy to deploy.
The software is frequently updated and new features is added.

Using a remote software like Splashtop reduces the overall Carbon footprint of the support team with more than 95% as we can solve more than 99% of the support tickets remote and do not need to do any traveling.

We have increased the amount of support tickets per supporter by about 15% by switching to Splashtop.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I do not really dislike anything. Some parts of the interface could a little more "sexy".
Looking forward to be able to admin Antivirus installation and licenses directly in the Business App. as this currently only is possible in a browser.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Do the free trial of alle the software including the SOS and license for IOS and Android devices.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant support for most issues. Minimizing downtime for clients. Support can be done from anywhere when an internet connection is available.

  ### 27. Great value for managing Windows PCs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | IT Manager, Wholesale, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

PCs that are shown on health monitoring pages can be organized to match a specific deployment structure (location, department, team, function, etc.). Health indicators are clear making identification of exceptional conditions easy. Alert functions are also helpful. Remote access features allow for efficient support of an unattended device.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Endpoint Security status for a PC is accurate when displayed. Some devices show no status. All other Endpoint Security features including Bitdefender deployment work as expected.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Implementation cost is low considering the short time needed to go from initial product registration to having the first PC monitored. Evaluating Splashtop is time well spent.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to maintain an inventory of PCs and track the health of each device in one place. This visibility allows for proactive support reducing the number of user reported issues. We are able to provide support for both attended and unattended devices. SLA times for reported issues have been compressed. The overall cost of PC support has been significantly reduced.

  ### 28. Good Remote Support Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Nice, easy interface, intuitive, good grouping capabilities, not much computer overhead required...and TONS CHEAPER than LogMeIn, which we used for nearly a decade...and got dissatisfied with. We also feel that Splashtop offers more "bang for the buck" than all the other remote tech support portals that we evaluated...and we evaluated, a lot of them!

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Can't really think of anything, to be honest...been using Splashtop for 6 months now, no issues. The ONLY limitation we've found thus far, which we'd really, REALLY like to see in the product *asap*, is something akin to "GoToMeeting"...whereby, we can do, remote webinars & sales presentations. Splashtop has a kinda/sorta capability here, with their "Educator's" whiteboard...but...it requires you to share an entire screen, and not simply, portions. Also, it MUST include, a RECORDING capability. As a result, we had to engage, another service...Zoom...to meet this requirement. I'd far prefer, to have all this, under "one roof" (so to speak).

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

None really...just sign up, and give it a test drive...it works, and does, what it says it does.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's made is easier, as one standard login, works on all of our devices...so I've been using my phone more and more, as a 'remote support' type client.

  ### 29. Enterprise Level Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Ease of use. Good resolutions & aspect ratios integrity. Unattended Access features are the very best in the industry. Nothing like it out there. These features alone allows our teams to be more forgiving when Splashtop has a hiccup, which is not that often, or has yet to develop a feature we need.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

2 finger screen expansion and contraction feature doesn't work. No IOS version available.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deploy manpower and productivity tracking Andriod and IOS applications on construction sites. With Splashtop, we are able to service our tablet and access controls equipment from anywhere in the world, even on our phones. We can check network connections, remotely service and update our equipment, control access points, train site personnel, etc... on all our sites without the excessive expense of flying a service technician to cities across the country.

  ### 30. A great way to connect to remote clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stewart A. | Professional Services Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

They have to run a small application and then you are connected. Very simple for every user to figure out. You can also connect multiple support techs to the same client. This is a huge help when needing to escalate an issue or training a new person.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

No real option for keeping it as a shortcut to run again. You either have to find it in the downloads or they need to download it each time. However, if you get it from downloads, you can easily put it on their desktop

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Use groups and naming conventions for east of locating clients

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can connect to clients that are having issue and it allows for multiple techs to be connected to the same client. We use it to connect for demos where we show what the software can do, support issues where a tech needs to see what exactly is happening on the system and troubleshoot, and for remote training - this cuts down on travel expenses and the training can then be broken up as needed.

  ### 31. Outstanding & Affordable Remote Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The ease-of-use on my end coupled with how easy it is to install and activate on the destination computer no matter the skill level of the end user.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I honestly have not found a feature I do not like yet.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to travel to clients who need assistance or training leading to resolution usually in just a few minutes from the time of contact. Much happier customers is often the end result.

  ### 32. Easy to use, powerful customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Splashtop is easy to deploy, meaning that your clients will have to do nothing on their end to be ready for remote support at any given time.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Computers are registered once in Splashtop when you deploy it yourself. I wish there was a way to automatically update the name when the computer name changes, but honestly that's not a big deal. The admin can still set the name to whatever they want, but it's not automatic.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the outbreak of COVID-19, we are using Splashtop to give technical support to people working at home. I've found that before we used it, it would actually take nearly 5 times longer to troubleshoot a problem by explaining what to check and click on, with many problems that were unsolvable. Now that we can really get our hands on the problem, we're back at operating efficiently.

  ### 33. Splashtop Remote Support is a capable alternative to LogMeIn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

(1) Almost identical feature set to LogMeIn, (2) Much lower cost than LogMeIn, (3) Access to SOS, similar to LogMeIn Rescue, at a fraction of the cost, (4) Able to drag files from my desktop to other computers, (5) Ability to delegate access to others.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

They need to integrate remote printing without the need for a Third-Party application.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

The cost is a big factor since this type of software is becoming more and more common.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote Technical Support, Remote Software Development, Remote Software Installation

  ### 34. Great remote desktop software with great features!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian C. | Sr Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Extensive features, including chat and screen recording. Fast set up. Secure approval for new machines / users.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Some rare connection problems. But always resolves after restart.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used for multi-user and multi-location support.

  ### 35. An affordable and efficient solution for remote support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christophe G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I installed Splashtop in 5 minutes. It's very easy. It's also easy to configure and to use. I tried several solutions and Splastop is the best solution with a cost affordable for a small business.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

For the moment, there is nothing i dislike.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop is an affordable solution for small business. I can control my servers while i am away.

  ### 36. It just works...and Splashtop Listens

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Director of Technology, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The product just works, no hoops to jump through or games to play. The SOS product is integrated with the other Splashtop product we use so there is no extra app or tool to install.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Splashtop marketing could be better. LogMeIn and TeamViewer dominate, but should not. Splashtop needs to get the word out better.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Stop using the other tools...especially LogMeIn and TeamViewer, they are not worth it for the cost. Splashtop is affordable and very competitive with price.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest challenge is dealing with students who struggle with technology on their home devices, which for us means they cannot log in. With Splashtop SOS we can simply remote into their device and walk them through the login process.

  ### 37. Robust, yet simple software at a reasonable price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake S. | President/CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The main reason I chose Splashtop was for the feature which allows you to view and control Android/iOS devices. I have been using that feature along with the unattended access feature for desktop computers and both have been working flawlessly since day one.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The user interface is pretty basic and could maybe use a face lift but the software works well and I haven 't had any issues worth noting.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

If you are looking for an easy and affordable way to support mobile devices and manage a small number of remote computers then Splashtop is the best choice in my opinion.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As previously stated I had no way to remotely support users on mobile phones without the hassle of having to look up guides and try to visualize what they are looking at while I walk them through troubleshooting. Now that I have SOS I am able to connect to my clients mobile devices and perform troubleshooting much more quickly and without the need to bother my clients to help me fix their device.

  ### 38. very easy to use with high functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I was using Join,ME for a year and was generally frustrated with it, especially if I needed the client to share their desktop. Then I looked at TeamViewer and found it very easy to use but the cost was above what we could justify with the number of times we need to use a remote connection.
Splashtop is very cost effective, easy to use and has more functionality than we need.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The user interface to share our screen or to have a client share their screen, seemed confusing untill we figured out where the options were and how to use them. Although it works very well once connected it was confusing at first.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did software demos online as well as remote trouble shooting.

  ### 39. Great price to feature ratio. Fantastic sales and support experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian C. | Partner, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Feature parity is about on par with TeamViewer, with a much better price point. Splashtop is fast and just works. Customer service and support is top notch with a fast response time to requests (I received a non-support related response on a Sunday).

There was a 20% pricing discount when we signed up, saving us around 40% over TeamViewer. Even at full price, Splastop is still cheaper than TeamViewer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There's a few minor issues I've run into, but nothing to really complain about. My biggest complaint is the SOS client seems to take longer to startup and display a support code on remote devices, when compared to TeamViewer QuickSupport. Again, minor issue as it's maybe 20-30 seconds or so.

Deploying a customized SOS agent is a manual process, but I received my agent software on the same day as my request (on a weekend too).

Lastly, when Splashtop is configured to remove the background (wallpaper / picture) on the remote device you're connecting to, it tends to leave the background blank when you disconnect. I don't find it to be that much of a performance impact, so we simply leave the option to remove the remote device background disabled.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched from TeamViewer to Splashtop for on-demand support, as well as unattended device monitoring, saving money without losing features.

  ### 40. Beats all expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim M. | Help desk admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The ability to zoom in while using the mobile app and not being kicked out of a remote session if someone else on my team remotes in to the same PC I am in.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Until I found the portable windows app I disliked having to install the client on every PC i wanted to remote from. With the portable app it is a lot easier.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Go ahead with it.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I support remote computers users from a central location saving time an money with less travel.

  ### 41. Splashtop is great for supporting remote users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Super simple to use and deploy and was actually quite cheap compared to many others

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

When the users connect to our VPN it drops the connecting and we have to do a full reconnect

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use VNC which was both insecure and difficult to manage as you had to ask the users for their IP address, and they had to be on the VPN. With Splashtop we can access the users via a big list of names in groups even and they simply just have to be on the internet.

  ### 42. Better than TeamViewer!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie R. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

We've found this to be much easier for our end users than TeamViewer that we were previously using. We're also using this to interact with iPads and found it very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I wish we could install SOS on our end user's computers. Sometimes they get confused when we direct them to the website each time, especially if we've interacted with them before and they think it should already be installed.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Typically software support problems.

  ### 43. Best Product on the Market for I.T. specialist

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent M. | President , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

This product is cost effective. We have used other products and for a small company, we were paying quite a bit for what we were receiving. I found Splashtop and we tried it for a trial basis. After they added the SOS feature we were able to abandon our other solution entirely all for a very affordable price. I would highly recommend the use of this Product as it works not only on P.C.s it works on Mac as well a definite plus.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

One of the things I would like to see is if Splashtop will allow us to use as a branded product for our company, not a big deal but would be nice.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed us to look at a problem immediately with customers who just call in for support and have not done business with us in the past. It has allowed us to gain a whole new customer base.

  ### 44. Works great, very happy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andre D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Grouping, multi monitor, file transfers and allowing other users to access their computers are the top features we utilize. We also are making use of the deployment codes and setting group policies to deploy client installs.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The phone app breaks when you collapse groups.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Price is great, deployment is easy and the feature set is outstanding.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support for all my clients. We also really enjoy the added SOS feature.

  ### 45. Best on market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Curt G. | Police Constable, Law Enforcement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

When seeking out a Remote Desktop solution there wasn’t a tight 2nd place. From the initial trial it was clear the flexibility and ease of use was there. This is has been by far the best money I have spent on my consulting business.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I’d like to have more unattended connections but I can pay for those when needed.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

The trial is a perfect demonstration of what you’ll get. I was leary as the price was less than most options but it’s been fantastic.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using my tablet I can go from taking a call from a stressed client to be connect to them resolving the issue within seconds. The best part of Splashtop is it’s consistency. It works every single time.

  ### 46. Great Software!

I use this for training remotely. I'm able to have my employees learn our systems and guide them through the process from anywhere.

Also, the customer service team is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

There have been times that it has crashed Google Chrome. I'm working with the team to fix this issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Very easy to use and wonderful customer service.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm now able to have a remote training center. I've been able to save my company thousands in travel costs.

  ### 47. Splashtop is great for company IT support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William W. | IT Manager, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like being able to setup unattended access for remote user PCs for running updates, fixing low level file corruption and installing software packages after hours. It's great organizing PCs into groups and having a note field for each PC. It's very easy to direct a user to the Splashtop download for support issues where unattended access isn't required.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Can't think of anything at this time.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

Very easy to use, great price and works very well.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick support for field foreman at job sites and for office staff members when they are working at home. Splashtop screen sharing allows for easy remote training for users.

  ### 48. 2 tech license + 10 seat SOS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon H. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The price is a great value compared to other services we've used, it is very easy for our customers to use the site to allow us to login, and I love unattended access and the screen capturing and recording features.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

It is more clicks to install unattended access than it was using RescueAssist, but since that is on our tech's side anyway, it is not a huge problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Support:**

I recommend Splashtop SOS. It has been great to be able to support customers even while I'm out of the office using my laptop or my phone in extreme cases.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Splashtop SOS to support Microsoft Access applications we have installed for various companies. Customers love us being able to access their screen, show us exactly what their issue is, and most of the time we are able to resolve it on the spot. This helps us retain more satisfied customers with less down time. It's a win-win and worth every penny.

  ### 49. Allows Me To Manage Multiple Sites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott S. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I am a single IT person for a multi site 150 person company. Splashtop SOS allows me to support my users no where they (or I) happen to be. This saves a lot of downtime.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I am not real happy about 2 factor authentication. However, I am never happy about 2 factor authentication no matter who is requiring it.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to support my users and my network in general much more efficiently. There is no waiting for me to travel to a site to resolve issues.

  ### 50. Had LogMeIn, now I have Splashtop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Used LogMeIn for years - basic remote control is all I need. They continue to up-sell and secretly raise prices in huge jumps. Migrated to Splashtop and haven't looked back. Does everything I need to support my customers and at a fair price.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Occasional screen jitter. Would like cell-based second factor authentication.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SOS is somewhat more seamless than LogMeIn ad-hoc. Supporting a variety of business and private customers, and maintaining stand-alone/unattended PCs in business environments.
